hi all,

Claire I'm glad you had the attention needed so quickly. Not a lot of fun for you having to stay in hospital, but hopefully, this will resolve the mc and you can move on.
Interesting that they are testing the embryo, I agree any information is helpful.

Hairy - sweetie what is it? You sound a bit like a grumpy sheep. I hope things are improving for you.
Hoooge hug!

Julez and Rainbow have fingers crossed for you. I hope these are sticky embies.

Lia are you about?

So the diet, well what happened there. Was watching my portion sizes, but have been feeling so hungry the past couple of days, and exhausted so haven't been very good. On the other hand, could have eaten a heck of a lot more than I have. So counting small mercies.
Did go for a run today.
Claire I expect you are a bit too tired to be even thinking about dieting.

ClaireDeLoon · 10/06/2010 19:35

Julez and rainbow have seen your news, I really hope it works out for you both, I'm thinking of you.

Had a bit of a crap few days, went to the GP on Tuesday afternoon to talk to him about a recurrent mc referral but when he heard I hadn't yet fully mc'd he wanted to check my tummy, noticed I was red hot and checked my temp and it was 37.9. Sent me off to gynae who admitted me on iv antibiotics Tuesday evening. Scanned me again today and it was all as before, in right horn of uterus, same size etc so they've released me today and have an erpc booked for tomorrow afternoon.

The good thing is that they're sending off the embryo for testing, lets hope they are able to do the tests.

hairytriangle · 10/06/2010 16:09

bah and meh.

Julezboo · 10/06/2010 09:39

Hoi Rainbow,

Thank you too. All my mc's have been before 7 weeks with the exception of my first which was around 16/16 weeks 10 years ago.

I am on clexane, aspirin and folic acid at the moment and will be starting on progesterone on june 25th after first scan and all is ok.

Feeling really low this morning

rowingboat · 10/06/2010 09:27

Hi all,
Rainbow [licks spoon] yum, I needed that! I've got my binge-head on so I have to very cautious about sweeties at the moment, or they will be GONE!

rainbowdays · 10/06/2010 08:43

Julezboo - thank you, come pull up a chair beside me here, there are some comfy ones to sit on here. I am 4 weeks now too, so here we go the fun starts.... I have bumped into you on other threads, but do you mind me asking at what stage your m/c's have been? Lets hope this time will be different for us both.

fishie - sorry don't know about barts at all.

rowing - here you are

rowingboat · 09/06/2010 23:36

Hi all,
sorry Fishie, I have heard of Bart's, but no first hand experience.

fishie · 09/06/2010 22:29

hey to all of you.

i have a consultant apt next week.
barts. is that a nice place?

Julezboo · 09/06/2010 22:20

Rainbow - just wanted to pop on and offer a hand holding. I just had a positive test on tues, I am roughly 4 weeks, also had 7 mc's. Keeping everything crossed.

waves to queenie

rowingboat · 09/06/2010 22:07

Hi everyone,

Rainbow what a pain that is, to not know what is going on like that. I hope the positive does increase soon. Could you go to your GP for a test, a blood test might be more conclusive.

I have made a start on the next frozen transfer, probably for July. Probably a waste of time, but they are our embryos and we can't just leave them in a freezer, even if they don't stand a chance of becoming babies.

Hairy how are you getting on? Any progress?

LOTGK are you OK?

Feeling completely pooped at the moment on CD7. Does anyone else feel knackered through the first half of their cycle?

rainbowdays · 09/06/2010 17:09

rowing - sorry to hear you are still feeling a bit sad. I hope that planning the next treatment will help you refocus again. I think that the immune tests would be a good idea, hope the gp does them for you.

hairy - hows the pain?

LOTGK - have you found your period yet? or is it still awol?

I am getting faint positives still, if they don't get darker in the next couple of days I guess I should stop my progesterone and let things end?

rowingboat · 08/06/2010 14:00

Hi everyone,

How are you all getting on?

Hairy poor you, it is really dragging on. I hope today things have improved. When do you have a review to see if the drugs you took last week have worked?

LOTGK thank you for the hairstroke, always nice. How are things this week?

Claire are you still around?

Rainbow I saw your news on the forties thread. I hope this all goes well for you. How are you feeling?

I'm kind of keeping my head down at the moment. Trying to organise more treatment and feeling a bit sad about things.
Don't really feel like hanging out on a 'regular' TTC thread for now.
I have been encouraged by others to have level 1 immune tests done by my GP. Not sure if they will charge, but might make an appointment next week.
Still have to have a blood test, but can't really be bothered to go to the clinic for what is obviously, a failed procedure.

hairytriangle · 07/06/2010 20:05

bloody hell, I now have some more pain - intermittent - more like trappe wind than period pain - an it hurts to pass win or move my bowels

TheLadyOfTheGreenKirtle · 07/06/2010 09:08
rainbowdays · 06/06/2010 22:21

Hairy - So sorry you are going through this. It is so horrible, I think that m/c can really make us feel like our bodies are useless. I really hope things start turnign around for you soon.

hairytriangle · 05/06/2010 23:30

Just need to have a very self indulgent rant/rave/wail/cry/moan

Fcking Fucking body why oh why can't you just be normal?

Have just had to go through the indignity of having a speculum exam whilst bleeding heavily, been sent home as nothing to worry about they think Mexo poison is working, have got more co-codamol.

My stomach looks like I'm four months preggers, I would have been at week 10 ish had I not miscarried/retained products/gushed with blood for the last 17 days

Truly fed up now.

hairytriangle · 04/06/2010 19:28

Rowingboat sending you loads of sympathy I was so sorry to read that hope you at least have a good weekend and the sun shines for you.

Rowingboat sending you loads of sympathy I was so sorry to read that hope you at least have a good weekend and the sun shines for you.

ClaireDeLoon · 03/06/2010 22:05

Take care. And enjoy your weekend.

rowingboat · 03/06/2010 21:56

Yeah rubbish!
Off to watch 'The Good Wife' [thinks] at least I don't have an electronically tagged, philandering husband loafing around on the sofa.

ClaireDeLoon · 03/06/2010 21:43

rowingboat that's shit, I'm sorry

rowingboat · 03/06/2010 21:41

Hi everyone,
so my ivf frozen embryos don't seem to have 'taken' got bfn this morning and now AF has arrived.
So that seems to be that. I still have a blood test to be done, but I'm fairly sure that I know what the result will be.
Feeling quite flat, after feeling positive today about losing weight and getting fitter before next time.
Now I am telling people it feels sad.
Luckily I am off for a lovely weekend with DS and friends and no internet so will be able to distract myself.
Big sigh.

rainbowdays · 03/06/2010 08:51

LOTGK - it is truely unfair, you so do not need the site of babies and pregnant girls at the moment. It makes me upset to see women like you suffer the injustice of infertility and negligent doctors. I truely hope that you get your miracle, and the doctors who actually know how to help you soon. But in the meantime, I am glad that you have this space to come to, so that you can let us share your pain.

hairy - so glad that it is going ok physically.

rowing - it seems that you have taken this time very nonchalantly (and yes I did have to check the spelling!!!!) this time. I find it strange how some months I get really worked up, and others it is, well that went as expected. At least with the blood test on friday you will know either way.

I have to say that I am surprisingly calm myself considering it is the hormonal 2ww for me. I think all my frustration was aimed at the junior stupid doctor on monday!

hairytriangle · 02/06/2010 22:32

Hi RB I feel fine, in fact, no symptoms or effects apart from a little bit of stabbing sensation very rarely in my tummy. so maybe it's working (fingers crossed!)

rowingboat · 02/06/2010 20:43

LOTGK oh no, what a horrible day. Poor you, it is horrible and frustrating not being able to just pop out a kid whenever you feel like it.
[huge hug]

Rainbow, I fixed the chair, but couldn't glue the vases back together.
It's not that kind of diet, the kind where you can't go for lunch with your parents I mean.
I rationalised the lunch because we don't see those parents very often and they were paying, I mean they would be offended wouldn't they.

Claire are you there?

Hairy how are you feeling sweetie?

So I'm testing tomorrow and fully expect it to be negative. Not very cross about it, just blaaaah. I find it very difficult to believe I will ever be pg again.
