for those who are having problems getting pg

Hi babylily
In my head we have been trying for longer than that
And I think I need to give DH a break for a bit
We shall see
Anyway fingers crossed for this month, although am slightly panicky it's for the last time
In my head , it's not going to happen
In my heart [hope]

hello all...can i creep on into the hut?
DH & i are 38 about to start on 9th month of trying for DC3...DD1(6) & DD2 (3) were conceived at 1st attempt. we lost a DS with a trisomy in 2nd trimester in between (also conceived at 1st attempt).
gutted that am really now at the point of wondering if it may never happen.

Darrell btw - i have just read a book by an american feminist writer (Peggy Orenstein i think... anyway after 6 years of IVF and everything else conceived her DD naturally)...which says that even in their late thirties, 90% of women will conceive within 2 years..i.e. a year is just not long enough to give it.
ahhhh it's made me feel a bit better just to write it down.

Hi back Lissie
Good to see you here (well it's not, but you know what I mean)
So this is where everyone is these days
I have 2 DCs and since the birth of DS 4 years ago have wanted a 3rd. It took me 3 years to convince DH, and he agreed to try for 6m , (which I have elongated to a year )and then we had 2 early miscarriages late last year.
We are on our last month of trying this month
Have almost (but not quite) come to terms with not having a third.
