Cosmosis good luck with the job situation, hope it won't be too stressful for you but something always turns up, even when things look really bad. Would you like your name to remain on the list?

nanoo sounds as though things are happening at your end but there's no need to panic because the fertile window is just that, a window - which opens for more than a few hours so you just need to get busy tonight, tomorrow, the weekend... [phew]

donttry what if it's been raining and the stones are all wet [chortles] , sorry couldn't resist! Still, the stone method may well be just as good as our OPKs

LOM sorry for your BFN but until af arrives there is still some hope so don't give up just yet...

LittleOneMum · 25/06/2009 14:32

My AF is due on Sunday but of course like a fool I caved today and tested - BFN. Have shed a little tear in the loos at work. Big congrats to all the new BFPs though!!

donttrythisathome · 25/06/2009 13:46

God, typos all over the shop...

EWCM is your fertile time
In some cultures their fangos

donttrythisathome · 25/06/2009 13:43

nanoo the word on da street is that if you see EWCM this isn your fertile time. Apparently in some culties the girls are told to rub a stone along theit fango and if its wet its babytime, if its dry its not.

The most fertile day apparently is the last day of EWCM or a wet feeling in yer lady bits.

As you can only know the last day in retrospect. dr donttry bossyknickers orders you to bonk the bejaysus out of your fella every day of the EWCM and the day after for good measure!

Cosmosis · 25/06/2009 13:42

thanks missiek, it is indeed unsettling. I am lucky in that I have never been through it before, but it's not something I am keen to go through again!

missiek · 25/06/2009 12:55

oh no cosmosis thats awful, its really unsettling isnt it, i've been through it myself a few times, but always works out for the best (trying to be positive). I feel for you hun, keep your chin up. [hug]

Hotel Chocolat sounds like a plan, let's go!

Cosmosis · 25/06/2009 12:12

It's not official, but I'm 100% certain because of what they've told us about the restructure.

As my cycles are still funny and I'm temping, I don't actually think I've ovulated yet, so if by chance it goes as I'm not expecting, I could still be ok, so I'll just sit quietly at the back of the bus and see.

nanoo · 25/06/2009 12:09

PS Bellas, don't worry at all about what you wrote the other day - I had my first MC in 2001...and here I am still TTC. For some of us it does indeed take AGES!!! I SO understand your frustration....

nanoo · 25/06/2009 12:08

Help! Just seen EWCM for the first time. Does this mean I'm about to ov, or that I am in the process of ov, or it's all over? Last BD was Tuesday lunchtime (DH working from home that day!!) - have I missed the opp or do I need to call him home right now?!!

NancyPreg · 25/06/2009 12:07

Sorry to hear about your job Cosmosis - is it a foregone conclusion that you will lose it or is there still a possibility that it could be safe? Come back when you feel ready but as you're on CD20, this month might not be over for you yet....

missiek apparently only a third of women experience implantation bleeding, I haven't had it myself so can't say what it's like but I would prefer Hotel Chocolat if possible [choosy]

Cosmosis · 25/06/2009 11:31

You can take me off this months bus. I'm probably losing my job so am taking a break from ttc this month till I know what's going on.

missiek · 25/06/2009 10:44

hi girls, more fantastic news, lets have more BFP's .
I've had some spotting, light pink, which i've never had before, AF not due for another 6-8 days, so of course, i've been typing "implantation spotting" into google and have spent the past hour driving myself nuts. Has anyone else had this before? I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but its so hard not to. My boobs are really sore too, but thats not unusual really. Am i being too optomistic?
I need chocolate, can we stop off at Thorntons please? babydust to all xx

sweetkitty · 24/06/2009 22:31

3 BFPs today congratulations to you three

tostaky - sorry to hear AF came new cycle to lok forward to

I did a cheapie poundshop test today just in case with AF still MIA and it was BFN as I thought, am planning to stop feeding DD3 at night from next month so should make a difference

ilove2shop · 24/06/2009 22:30

NancyPreg · 24/06/2009 22:00

tostaky · 24/06/2009 21:53

Wow! So many BFP!!! Congrats everybody

well i was convinced i was pregnant but no no no.. AF got me on sunday...
so i joined the April bus (although i have no idea if that would be a march baby or an april baby..

NewMember · 24/06/2009 20:27

Hi BYM

You are right everyone's experience is different! However, I think it's ok for ppl to express their individual worries and concerns (no matter how long they have been TTC)! 7/8 months is not long, I understand that - but when u are hoping and praying for that stick too flash 'pregnant' - it feels like u have been trying for years, never mind months!

As u say 7/8 months def is not a long time!

But for me - it is

NancyPreg · 24/06/2009 18:51

triggerhappybaby · 24/06/2009 18:47

\O BFP too. Clearly it is not conceiving that is the problem it's glueing the damn thing in. Fingers crossed....

NancyPreg · 24/06/2009 18:38

Bellas - why not come back in a couple of day's time and tell us all about your BFP!!! [fingers x] and your post doesn't come across as bitchy at all. Your experience is far from uncommon. My mum took the best part of 10yrs to have her DC but then, like buses, two came along at once in the space of 15mths

BellasYummyMummy · 24/06/2009 18:03

all these BFPs are great news, though are making me really nervous!!! i actually dont want to test at all but whenever i read another BFP im like oooh i want to test...!! might take a break from here for a few days as i tend to get anxious about it and am fine when i'm not online reading forums.

for those of you getting down about TTC, please please try not to!! it took us 2 years of TTC'ing before we conceived number 1, and i;ve known friends who have taken longer. you just have to be patient and let nature happen- the more stressed up over it you are the harder you are making it on your body!!! i do get a little upset when people are disappointed after only a few months of trying, i know it may seem like ages but in the grand scheme of things it isnt really. Just offering a bit of perspective! and apologies if it comes across bitchy, dont mean it to, think i'm just suffering from early onset of PMT!!!

missiek · 24/06/2009 15:46

oh i used to love Feasts! Especially the white chocolate ones!!!Anyone for a ice pop or one of those traffic light lolly's?!
teenycalls we'll be testing the same time GOOD LUCK trying not to obsess but I feel a bit off, probably my mind playing tricks on me though.

teenycalls · 24/06/2009 15:07

Congratulations to all those with BPFs, our graduate list is certainly growing

missiek an ice cream would be a much welcome distraction, do you think you can still get Feasts? I fear I am becoming obsessed with TTC, was thinking of banning myself from MN for a couple of days

Only 7DPO but had mild cramps last couple of days and boobs don't feel sore just weird, like hard on the inside... could it be symptoms so soon or just psycho-somatic addict insane?!?
