Hi folks, signing in for today,

I am now convinced I am not pregnant. Im 99% sure im not. Just a hunch. I will test next weekend as i have the tests but its not mu month i dont think. I got the first response tests this morning that have terrible reviews that give false positives and i got a BFN so even i didnt get the positive then!

I will come back on soon, im addicted to this, i must chesk MN about 4 times a day. Im sad i know!

Im holding out for you guys tho and hope you get your positives.

feeling a wee bit depressed! Im still a moody bitch tho, and still feeling really quite dizzy and faint, maybe the antibiotics

Love to all x

teenycalls · 07/07/2009 11:12

Erm, meant to say BFPs, sorry! I guess a big positive fat describes the later stages of pg nicely though!

teenycalls · 07/07/2009 11:10

Thanks nanoo, think i'm going to start referring to it as the 3ww though

Am very excited about you all testing at the weekend (a bit like testing myself but without the fear!) Hope we get a few more BPF's before the bus reaches the end of the road - I am on totally the wrong bus and am going to end up walking miles but it's worth it to sit with you ladies a little longer

nanoo · 07/07/2009 10:37

Morning Ladies - we're one day nearer the weekend! Looks like there'll be loads of us testing at the weekend, great to be in it together. Got a confirmation from the hosp yesterday that I DID indeed ovulate (progesterone gone right up!). That's my first ovulation since Jan 2007 when DS was conceived. Yeah.

However, they did say not to bother testing until at least 1 week after the progesterone rise (so that's TWO WEEKS after ovulation). So hang in there New Member :-)

Teeny, real shame AF finally got you - although I know you already knew she was on her way. At least you are on your way in the next cycle and those crazy 2WW days are over :-)

teenycalls · 07/07/2009 09:48

Good morning ladies, hope you are well - and for those in the 2ww maintaining your sanity!

AF finally rocked up this morning so a 34 day cycle in the end, hope it's a one off caused by DIY hell for past 2 weeks (over now!) Seems I now get sore boobs before periods then, anyone else get this? It's never happened to me before but have lost 2 stone in the past 6 months so could be a sign that my hormones are now stronger and i'm more fertile [clutching at straws emoticon]

Poppyjen - I had cramps before i got my BFP :-)

Poppyjen · 06/07/2009 23:41

Hi ladies thank you very much for your welcomes

I ovulated around 26 June according to ovulation test, EWCM and cervical position ( I know....I'm doing the lot...) which was day 20 of my cycle so I am now about 10 DPO.

Currently driving myself crazy analysing every twinge...although I definitely have horrid cramps, has anyone experienced that and then gone on to have a BFP?

The wait until the weekend is going to be unbearable!

Thanks

Shopna · 06/07/2009 21:33

Congrats to everyone who had a BFP since I've been on here last. Unfortunately I've missed the March 2010 bus. AF arrived 23/06/09 - have been too depressed to come on here and update. Thank you all for keeping me on the list during my absence.
I've taken myself off and think I might go catch the April 2010 bus. Good luck everyone. xx Sincerely hoping I DON'T see any of you on the April bus. xxx

NewMember · 06/07/2009 20:45

Yea i know what u mean - I had a chemical pregnancy in Jan - although sometimes wonder if it could have been a false positive! The nurse does not think so tho ...

hmmmm!

LoobyLou82 · 06/07/2009 20:39

newmember mine was tesco own brand. I just spent about half an hour trawling the net about tests. I had ordered the first response tests off ebay, but the consensus is that they give false positives most of the time. I think i will use them later this week and then back it up with another maybe clearblue to double check if it is positive. I do worry about testing early tho as i have had a miscarriage before and i know that chemical pregnancies are fairly common so would not want to test get a positive then have my period start due to it only being a chemical pregnancy(i was training to be an antenatal teacher so i know a lot about these things
I may just still hold off until next weekend and go get a clearblue one, a brand i can trust, i used it with both my boys and they were very accurate and trustworthy.

NewMember · 06/07/2009 20:09

Hi Looby

Yea I have def tested 2 early - I have cramp like feelings tho! I am prob about 7/8 dpo - early I know! lol

I used the clearblue digital - what about you?

LoobyLou82 · 06/07/2009 20:07

rainbowdays are you sure it was not just implantation bleeding? Have you tested?

LoobyLou82 · 06/07/2009 20:05

newmember i gave in and tested too, but were way too early. I was not even meant to test till next weekend, still will test next weekend. mine was neg too. I was just curious. What test did you use? I knew mine would not show just yet, dont give up as i said if you just used the normal test then it will prob not show for at least four days anyway. When did you ovulate? I ov last sat i think, so i would only be 9dpo, thats pretty unheard of to get a HTP which i knew. Dont give up were in this together girl!

NewMember · 06/07/2009 19:56

Yea I think I have tested early - day 12/13 I think! Today is day 20 so I know I am early - just going insane not knowing! My cycle has changed the past few months, going between 24-28 days! Feeling cramoy just now tho, so is this month going to be even shorter!

nanoo · 06/07/2009 19:52

Oh no New Member - really sorry to hear. But isn't it a bit early?? When did you ov?

NewMember · 06/07/2009 19:19

Gave in and tested - BFN Still a bit early but doubt it this month!

rainbowdays · 06/07/2009 18:38

Just checking in to check out, I think af arrived and went, it was a weird one, but I think I am now moving off this bus to the next one, hope everyone else gets a bfp rather than another bus ticket.

You ladies are lovely, thanks so much for your support Nice to know we're 'normal' afterall!

Dlamis · 06/07/2009 14:45

Oh yeah, and what looby said as well. Said much better than i could've

Dlamis · 06/07/2009 14:43

Teenycalls - Dh and I had been married 9 years (together 14) when we first started ttc. We were very comfortable just us and the guineapigs

My first reaction on getting a BFP was 'oh s*, what have we done!'. It was a major life change when ds1 arrived but for us it was definately for the better. A few years later we are going for no.3!

nanoo · 06/07/2009 14:04

Hi girls, just checking in today to see how you're doing. Teeny calls, that's v lovely to hear that you are enjoying life as it is. In fact, in my humble experience, that is the best situation in which to conceive....if you can avoid thinking too hard about it (counting days, doing ov tests etc..) and just be natural it will prob happen eventually.

But personally I wouldn't intentionally give up TTC, as it might take time (it's taken me YEARS just to get to this point) - and if there are any fertility issues it's so much better to know sooner rather than later. I started TTC in 2000, had my first MC in 2001, DS eventually born in 2007, and here I am again trying to get him a sibling.... Obviously nothing like your experience, I guess I'm just saying don't leave it too late x

God, im so emotional today. Yesterday too i kept bursting into tears. My wee boy came over to me and gave me a cuddle and said "Mummy, whats wrong?", "you sad mummy?"

I just feel exasperated, hormonal, tired, frustrated and pissed off all at the same time. Mood swings galore, my husband is getting it right now! poor him. I wonder if i am indeed pregnant? I have not felt any implantation pain this time so far, had just a light background not even really there cramping sensation. Fuzzy boobs too. Nothing I can really put my finger one exactly. My period is due week tues but i can test at weekend as i ovulated i think last weekend. Ordered some 6 day early first response tests that will be here tomorrow off Ebay. Anyone used those ones early?

Love to all, Lx

teenycalls · 06/07/2009 09:44

Thanks Looby - just the reassurance that I needed

LoobyLou82 · 05/07/2009 21:33

teeny these feelings are normal.I have said to my husband that if im not preg this month im gonna wait 6 months before trying again. The reason being is that i have two little little boys already and my hip is completely knackered. my pelvis split a bit at the front during my last two pregs and i have a twisted pelvis which caused me a lot of pain when walking. Your feelings are normal. You love your dog right? well heres a wee story for you....one month ago we got a puppy, i thought she would be like a 3rd baby to me (not in a psychotic way, wasnt gonna dress her up and push her in a pram!) we got her and she was cute but there was no love there, nothing at all. She attacked my kids and scared them, then we decided enough was enough and we sent her back to the breeders because she was hurting my babies, my real babies. I have always loved animals (I will get to the point soon i promise...)and before having kids I loved then as I thought you would love a child, but the truth is the love you have for a child is a million times greater. As my story goes to show, you love your own flesh and blood and you would never let anything harm them. I can only tell you that I never had my life first or my career first as I had my first when I was 24 and I do not regret it. I love them more than anything on this planet. No-one knows how to look after a baby completely until the baby teaches you how to be its mum. It has its ups and downs but the first smile you get or the first time they say"Mummy, Wuv You!" your heart melts. I could not imagine a world without them they make my day and make this sometimes hard world a happy shiny place to live in.

ANyway enough of my silly little anecdotes, if its in your heart dont give up, please, its worth every ounce of worry and effort. Hope that helps x
