I had to stop bfing in Jan due to work - was gutted. Really wanted to keep up one or two feeds but I work 12hr shifts and I just could not keep my supply going.

My lovely DS is 10 and a half months. He is great, love being his mummy!

Just spent the day with him but think he is a bit unwell - refused nearly all his food and only just managed to coax him into taking his milk. Fingers crossed he will be better by tomorrow.

liahgen · 27/05/2009 16:57

when I do stop period arrives 28 days to day of stopping.

DD is just 2 so bit older than yours, I have periods back now but mo pg so looking for a way to stop.

Good luck tonight

tostaky · 27/05/2009 13:19

Just did an ovulation test and it is negative... im in the dark...!
Im going to prepare a few bottles for tonight and try to get him to sleep without my nipple...
How old are your little ones? Mine is almost 7 months.

liahgen · 27/05/2009 10:35

I had to cut my dd's feeds down to one per day to get periods back in Sept, once back, I upped it back to twice a day.

Am seriously thinking of giving up altogether now as haven't managed to get pg since,, (well early loss at xmas) but nothing since. Have always found it easy to fall before.

Sorry no experience of coming off mini pill, as i got preggers on it a few years ago. I was under he impression your fertility is pretty much back straight away though.

SOrry can't be more helpful

I stopped bfing in Jan an AF did not arrive till March. I was down to a couple of BFs a day at the end but until I stopped totally AF was a no show. Think it really varies from person to person.

Not sure about the pill because I have never taken it.

tostaky · 27/05/2009 07:52

Does anyone know roughly when i can expect my first period after being on the progesterone pill and im still breastfeeding once or twice a day... Is it going to be a few weeks after ive stopped or a few months?

Im trying to stop breastfeeding alltogether but baby cant sleep without it and still wake up at night...

liahgen · 27/05/2009 00:04

Hi, shove over for me please.
I'm also on the Feb bus, but more likely to be a March baby methinks.

Hi Ladies - I am on the Feb bus but think I will jump pn here 2!

NewMember TTC#1 Cycle 3 (CBFM) UCL 24-25, CD5

My cycle has got shorter the past 2 months - hoping this does not cause me problems!

Dlamis · 26/05/2009 15:34

Hurray. I've been waiting for the March bus. I'll jump on.

Tostaky - UCL = Usual cycle length, CD = Cycle Day, so 1st day of period is CD1 etc.

Hi there,

new to this thread!
What do you mean by UCL and CD???

Not TTC right now, but I have stopped the pill and I will TTC as soon as I had my first periods (which should be anytime soon!)
