Great news looby!
I tested this morning too but it was negative also just realised that when we go to stay with friends in switzeland in a couple of weeks is when i'd be ovulating, and we wont be sleeping in the same bed!! May have to get imaginative!
On the plus side i do think i did the test wrong as i wee'd past the arrow, don't know if that makes any difference? Plus when i was preg with dd2 i tested on day 28 and it was negative, went on to do a test a couple of days later and there was a really really faint line so who knows? Mothernature likes to keep us waitng!
P.S my 2 dds are 4.3 + 2.8,wow urs are really close together looby!

ApuskiDusky · 12/07/2009 07:42

Looby, yay, fab news!!

LoobyLou82 · 12/07/2009 07:24

Hello,

I tested again this morning and it positive! still ver faint but at least it appeared within the 2 minutes this time. husband can not really see it but its there. I did a digital one and was convinced it would say not preg but it came back pregnant 1-2weeks! Im so happy but trying to stay level headed as will test tomorrow and tues (af due day) and make sre line is getting darker as had positive before that ended in mc as line never progressed to darken.

Im over the moon tho, fingers crossed it will work out and stay and become a big fat positive.

Good luck to everyone else testing xxxx

leonifay · 11/07/2009 21:58

hi all, i havent been on a ttc thread for a while as things havent been great. but hopefully emotionally i'm back on track...hopefully!

leonifay ttc#1 cycle 2(since mc) ucl 29-31

i wanted to say congratulations to the bfp's i recognise some of you from previous threads. i'm very happy for you.

ApuskiDusky · 11/07/2009 21:42

Ooh, Looby, how confusing... fingers crossed for tomorrow morning.

I've not been out to buy a test today, so don't know if I'll test tomorrow or not. I've had brown discharge which sometimes heralds AF, but I also had this when I was pregnant with ds, so who knows. And I've been a bit of an emotional mess today, still not got over the work problems of the day before - does that could as a symptom?!

LoobyLou82 · 11/07/2009 20:15

...let me just add it was a very very faint thin thin line making it a positive

LoobyLou82 · 11/07/2009 20:14

tobago i hope it works for you. How old are your other little cherubs? Mine are 2.5 and almost 1. both boys.

I have had nothing. I tested earlier today and it was negative or so it seemed. I went back upstairs and i had left test on side of bed and there was a second line to the cross making it a positive sign this was 3 or 4 hrs later after doing the test. its the clearblue cross ones(cross or +ve sign if preg and - line if not preg). I threw it down to husband to look and he saw it too. but i dont wanna get my hopes up as its prob just an evaporation line after sitting drying out for a few hours. there was not nothing i did not think when i tested and looked at within the two mins. Has this happened to anyone else and were they actually pregnant or was it still a neg? Im hoping it was just such a faint positive that it bearly showed up and you know how the line goes stronger but thinner once it has dried in then i was wondering if it was that..................oh god, im so confused.

I did this test middle of the day after not peeing for 2 1/2 hrs so will do one tomorrow morning with first pee and see if there is anything. it is still 3 days till AF is due.

Love to all, L x

tobago04 · 11/07/2009 16:49

Hi ,this is my first month ttc#3 too loobylou, had a bit of cramping last night,im on cd28,bit too scared to test! Don't know why as this is planned!

LoobyLou82 · 11/07/2009 16:43

Hi folks,

Just an update from me too. Did a test earlier today AF due tuesday and got a BFN again. Its not my month folks. Im 3 days early but using the early tests and still nothing. I will be jumping to next bus i think too. will wait till tues and make sure AF comes then hop ship. Good luck to all the others testing this weekend and hope it works out for you. Feeling a bit down but hey was only first month trying again.
Will be back on if anything radical changes i imagine it wont!

ApuskiDusky · 11/07/2009 13:10

Hi nanoo, really sorry AF got you, all the very best for next time. And at least this month ovulation happened, so hopefully that's a good sign of what's to come.
Take care, may well see you on the April bus!

nanoo · 11/07/2009 12:29

Hi Girls, just checking in to say goodbye - AF got me on Thursday afternoon. I've been feeling so miserable since I haven't been online. What a rollercoaster this month has been (and expensive - the fertility drugs costs us over £1K this month!!!). Off I hop to the April bus, full of hope and masses of good luck to you testing this weekend. Thanks for all your support.xxx

ApuskiDusky · 11/07/2009 10:52

LOL Poppyjen, I have a mental image of your 5 tests all lined up! Did you take a photo?! Congratulations!!

And welcome tobago!

tobago04 · 11/07/2009 10:37

Hi everyone, can i jump on too?
Should be due on to day if i have a 28 day cycle but not sure as this is first month i have come off the pill,ttc#3,congratulations poppyjen!

Poppyjen · 11/07/2009 10:21

oops, meant to say not [bush].....

Those hormones must be getting to me already

Poppyjen · 11/07/2009 10:20

Hi ApuskiDusky

In a word....yes...

Rather obessively I have now done 5 tests (4 first response and one normal tesco one) and all came back positive!!!

It was somehow extremely comforting to see the line get darker every day - yesterday the line matched the test line so I guess I'll have to start believing it now

I know a line is a line, but I have been (rather shamefully) lining the tests up next to each other so I can see the progression....my goodness TTC (or maybe pregnancy?) has made me strange. I was even tempted to take the latest test stick with me to work yesterday just so I could sneak a peek and remind myself [bush] I didn't I hasten to add....

I am so excited but it hasn't sunk in yet at all. I have a doctors appointment on Thursday morning so maybe it will start to feel a bit more real after that.

Good luck to all of you who are testing this weekend - I am sending positive thoughts and wishes your way

ApuskiDusky · 10/07/2009 22:31

Hi all,

Well I'm back from my work trip and I'm still hanging in there, no AF yet, though I did have period-like pains yesterday. I had an awful day at work, quite upsetting, so I want to let emotions settle down before I test, will sleep on it I think! And I need to buy a test of course!

Hope it wasn't AF on Thursday, NewMember. Any more confirmation on the thin line Poppyjen?

Will check in tomorrow!

NewMember · 09/07/2009 19:27

Evening Ladies!

Ok so today is cycle day 23 for me - I have been praying so much that this would be my lucky month! The last 3 days I have had a slight brownish discharge and some twinges in my lower tummy - so, is this AF on way?

So disappointed but i will NOT get down about it - I will just look forward to trying again! This TTC has def brought us closer - which is lovely

Hope u r all ok

Lou, yep, I'm getting dizzy - but I've looked it up and can't find out why it would be an early pg symp (raising progesterone levels maybe??). For me I think it's just stress and exhaustion (can't sleep with excitement/nerves). Listen to me, I sound ridiculous!

Teenycalls, you're v lovely to your friend - although I'm sure she would have been happy for you...and will be when it happens for you. My best friend has recently become pg again (we have same age DS already) - and she is moaning SO much about how crap she feels, morning sickness etc... V difficult to be understanding all the time

I would love to have morning sickness right now...

LoobyLou82 · 08/07/2009 19:15

anyone getting serious dizzy spells, like when you stand up, or in general. Tesco is a bad one twice in last couple of days felt faint. Could be my antibiotics but has been for a week now anyway.
Lx

teenycalls · 08/07/2009 12:36

Congratulations poppyjen!!

Glad you are feeling a bit more positive Looby, totally get what you're saying about the tests. This TTC lark can make the most logical of us go a little bit superstitious... that fact that you know it's not really to do with the type of test you use is a good sign though

Just found out my friend's first go at IVF (after 3.5 years and cervical cancer) hasn't been successful I'm kinda glad I didn't get pg this month cos even though she never would have said I can only imagine how it would have made her feel.

LoobyLou82 · 08/07/2009 11:41

Hey guys

Im happier today

I tested this morning again still negative. I still ahve my super douper two tests for the weekend. I bought the original clear blue ones that are lucky for me but dot ditigal ones sent to me in the post by mistake. They are more expensive tho so i guess thats a bonus. i dont really like then tho as used before my last positive so have a bit of a mental block that if i get a positive then i will then go on to MC. mental i know. Plus the are very final, either preg or not, you cant see how light the line is etc. Moaning over...

anyway hope everyone else is well, congrats to poppyjen. L x

rainbowdays · 07/07/2009 22:06

poppyjen - how exciting, congrats.

Loobylou - thank for the suggestion that it could have been implantation bleeding, but unfortunately the bleeding started the first day that I finally got a negative test from the miscarriage that started the month before, so no way I could be pg yet! I was just surprised that the bleeding was so light as I was told that the remains of the m/c would come away with next af. Just hoping I get pg this month as generally fertility is higher after a m/c. Sorry to here that you are feeling low today.

Poppyjen · 07/07/2009 21:16

Ok guys - this is not a drill.....

I was feeling a bit weird today and so gave in and took a First Response HPT this evening and it came back with a faint but definitely line-like positive....

EEEEEK!!!

I won't get off the bus just yet though, I am feeling a bit cautious at this stage and will test again tomorrow and a couple of days later to be sure....

nanoo · 07/07/2009 20:59

Oh Lou, really sorry to hear you feel depressed. But why are you so sure you are not pg? Because of not having symptons yet (surely you wouldn't have any yet, it's too soon??). I have no symptons at all (unless, you'll laugh at this, piles is a sign of pg??! haven't experienced piles since that first week post-natal mess - what's my body up to?!).

Hold on for the weekend test x
