Hi everyone,

The March bus is now departing, Everyone welcome....

Rtuff: TTC#2 Cycle 13 UCL 30 CD 2

OP posts:
Cosmosis · 11/06/2009 15:47

I'm not using opks at the moment, am temping. The over 100 days one was the first one after coming off the pill - took last pill on Boxing Day, got AF on 22nd April!! I'm hoping it's just going to gradually go back to normal.

NancyPreg · 11/06/2009 15:06

Hi Cosmosis! 100 days is a looooong time to wait for something potentially interesting to happen and 45 days is still long too. I guess if you have a good idea when you ovulate then that is the main thing...but with a long cycle, does that mean lots of OPKs??

liahgen · 11/06/2009 13:11

nancy not irish, made up of all our initials

Day 20, I could test....

Cosmosis · 11/06/2009 11:26

Morning all, don't know why I'd not got on the bus till now. Any way, better late than never.

Still not sure what cycle lenght is, 1st was over 100 days, last was 45, here's hoping this will be less! Have added myself on.

New - sorry about your -ve test but it is still early days, maybe wait a couple more days and think again...you never know!

liaghen (is that Irish?) - also early days for you too!

Patience is required

I'm still in the doldrums of CD8 but at least it means no symptom spotting and such lilke

teenycalls · 11/06/2009 09:45

ilove2shop thanks so much for the reassurance, helps to hear from people in the same situation. I'm sorry to hear about your MC, i'll keep my fingers crossed for you this month.

TakeLovingChances I also vow not to test too early this month, i'm going to wait until i'm at least 1 week late (she says now)!!

liahgen · 11/06/2009 09:30

oh new a very unmntty hug for you ((((()))))

It's very disheartening isn't it. It's not over till it's over though. Fingers crossed for late ov for you.

Well despite my earlier optimism, i was like a bear with a sore head yesterday so not that hopeful anymore. oh well. Roll on af then, get it over with and crack on.

onwards and upwards

NewMember · 11/06/2009 07:34

Hi Ladies ...

I tested early this morning, and got a BFN - feeling so gutted about it just now! My only hope is that I OV a bit later this month, so maybe my cycle will be longer, if so I have tested FAR 2 early! Live in hope, but I doubt it this month, I have no feelings of being pregnant!

Sigh!!!!

liahgen · 10/06/2009 22:22

I have never symptom spotted before in any pg, so am I imagining tender boobs at this stage or shall i get a bit excited?

hi teenycalls
It is really frustrating, im on cycle 6 now and it does get you down, i was the same with the withdrawl method, did it for 10years with dh, as pill never agreed with me, but got preg last year, but unfortunatly misscarried, so dont worry yourself to much on that one!!
Good luck for this month x

2ww Mark 1, equally dull but not quite as exciting as 2ww Mark 2

liahgen · 10/06/2009 20:43

ok, I think the list is out cos Monday and Tuesday are displaying cycle days same.

sorry I don't know how to rectify it

new, you must be able to test soon aren't you? I don't know how you could resist.

NewMember · 10/06/2009 19:54

Evening Ladies ...

Ouch still feeling tired but no other changes that I can see/feel. Although, I do have a very light, clear discharge - could this be a sign that AF coming towards the end of the week? Oh I dont know if I can handle another negative month!

liahgen · 10/06/2009 19:44

TLC I am already working out the earlies I could test this month, and with my 26 day cycle, I make it Sunday.

Can't make rash promises of not testing too early this month. Good luck to you.

TakeLovingChances · 10/06/2009 19:24

This month I promise to NOT TEST TOO EARLY!!!!! That is my promise, but those nagging wishes and hopes always snare me early!

I'm going away on a 2 week trip from 8 July, period is due around 28 June, so I will try very very very hard to not test until 1st July....

I know I'm not the only one who does this!

sweetkitty · 10/06/2009 14:58

tostaky - we have a plan of action for next month when DH is on holiday, we are moving her into her own room and DH will stay with her when she wakes to comfort her but no boob, I will be completely out the picture as if she sees me she will cry even more, she won't be left alone to cry but once she realises she isn't getting a feed then hopefully she will sleep through, worked in two nights with DD2 at a year so hopefully it will be the same with DD3. Best of luck on your 2ww, I am the most impatient person ever I always say I am not testing until AF is late but end up peeing on ebay cheapies and driving myself mad squinting at them from about 10dpo. No willpower.

tostaky · 10/06/2009 14:28

sweetkitty - my DS (7 months) has started doing his nights when i actually stopped feeding him at night and left him in his bed for the night.
We went cold turkey and he didnt cry that much tbh and it really worked after a week.
he is doing 8.30pm til 6am now.

Im on the 2ww... AF are planned for the 24th and Im due to test on the 28th... will be at my parents that week...

teenycalls · 10/06/2009 11:53

Thanks for your advice ladies, am off to buy clear blue digital OPKs at lunchtime have told DP he should prepare for a BD marathon this month!

Really hope this is a lucky bus for us all. I seem to know so many people having probs, have a colleague going through IVF after 3 years TTC and have everything crossed for her. Makes me feel guilty for being impatient after 3 cycles but we all need reassurance sometimes I feel. With TTC#1 in my 30's after 10 years with DP using only withdrawal for 6 years I have to consciously banish the niggling thoughts that it should have happened by accident by now really and try to be positive. Although contrary to warnings from school nurse I do know A LOT of people that have used withdrawal and not had any accidents!

Good luck to all on the March bus, I have a good feeling about this and am looking forward to knicker checking and symptom spotting madness!

liahgen · 10/06/2009 07:19

I'm still feeding dd who is 2yrs. Morning and night. I cut it down to once to get periods back in septmember but once I got them, upped it back to twice. Thinking of giving up altogether now though. If we not lucky this month, I will.

I've used cheapie ebay OPK's with not very easily readable positives, (ie not that positive), this month used Clearblue digital and got smiley face on day 13 so for me too slightly longer thanI thought, with a 26 day cycle.

Fingers crossed for everyone this month, lets make this the luckiest bus.
