OMG new that has got to be a sign...mussels in a jar. Yuck!! Fingers crossed for you.

Thanks thesoo glad i'm not alone. Of course i have one left from the packet so tomorrow morning it will ba calling to me. We can still laugh I guess. Hope you get your BFP this week.

NewMember · 14/06/2009 19:54

Ok, I have just sat and eat a full jar of Mussels!

Could this be a sign?

lol

thesoo · 14/06/2009 19:49

liaghen, whilst in the real world this behaviour might be seen as a trifle strange, here on mn, rest assured you are quite normal.
I too am due on Frid but spent £20 testing both yesterday and today. BFN both times, obviously, and 'stupid cow' was one of the milder insults I hurled at myself as I hopped around the bathroom in a fury.
gutted, hmmm but there is always tomorrow....

liahgen · 14/06/2009 17:07

I am soooo stupid, why do I do it??? Every fucking month...aaaagggghhhhh

And breathe,...stupid waste of a bloody tenner. Af not even due till Thursday or friday.

aaaggggghhhhh

teenycalls · 13/06/2009 12:16

Lol, lets hope all the positive mental attitude makes this a lucky month

Decided against using OPK in the end am going with EWCM and BDing every other day (DP not complaining...yet!). Might reconsider if nothing happens after another 3 cycles. Feel very level headed and sensible today, you should remind me of my smugness when I am losing my marbles during the 2ww!

NancyPreg · 13/06/2009 10:03

NewMember · 13/06/2009 09:44

Hmmm sore boobs and tired the last 2 days - but i think its prob signs of AF rather than signs of a bundle of joy!!

tostaky · 13/06/2009 08:37

Newmember .... I tested too! And got a BFN too.. Im on CD23 it is way too early (AF due in 11 days) BUT i have those super early cheap ebay tests and i thought maybe it will show something?
Having cramps like my AF is bout to come... I had the same with my first pregnancy though...

NewMember · 12/06/2009 21:10

Yip I tested lol!

Last month my cycle was 25 days, the month before I was 24 days! I am now on Cycle day 22 - with BFN result - I think I OV a little later tho, so maybe a longer cycle for me this month!

teenycalls · 12/06/2009 19:35

Thanks for the update NewMember can't believe you tested already! I am just the same tho, could buy a designer handbag with all the money i've wasted on tests already Will still keep my fingers crossed for you

Can't believe how time is flying atm, CD10 for me so commencing BD every other day. Also giving myself acid drinking too much grapefruit juice & checking for EWCM hourly! TMI lol!

liahgen · 12/06/2009 18:23

sweetkitty · 12/06/2009 09:29

tostaky - fingers crossed I had a dream about a BFP before DD1's so you never know maybe your body is telling you something

tostaky · 12/06/2009 08:02

i dreamt i had a bfp last night!! hopefully it will come true

sweetkitty · 11/06/2009 19:20

Nancypreg - I did an HPT on CD27 and it was BFN that was about a week ago, no BFing keeping AF away

tostaky - hope your AF goes amissing again I actually worked out that I would have OVed whilst still bleeding from the mc as 10 days after the mc stopped I had AF, next month I was pregnant again strange thing womens bodies

My last AF before the one I had in May was October 07

tostaky · 11/06/2009 18:20

Thank god for opk!
Im too impatient to TTC so even though i havent had my periods back yet, i tested everyday with opk until i got a positive and then did lots of BD.. now im waiting and hoping i wont get AF for another year!! My last periods were january 08

NancyPreg · 11/06/2009 18:13

LOL teenycalls, I've also done a similar calculation on a previous bus and also got a hit rate of about 25%, which is kind of what the text books say the chances of conceiving are in any given cycle.

Cosmosis, yes it's funny once you have a trained eye so many things become apparent that were seemingly cryptic beforehand! Although having said this, I'm still thankful for OPKs (I know they are not foolproof but they seem to work for me) and cheapie eBay ones at that.

sweetkitty, hope af comes calling soon so you know where you are (or even better a BFP!).

TakeLovingChances · 11/06/2009 17:25

teenycalls I'm on cycle 3 after coming off the pill. 1st cycle was 26 days, last one was 31 days. Will have to wait another few weeks to see how long this cycle is.

It's amazing how complicated all this is!

NewMember · 11/06/2009 16:50

Hi Everyone,

Feeling a little bit better now! I wont rule it out until AF gets me - fingers crossed she wont tho!

Hope everyone is doing ok

sweetkitty · 11/06/2009 16:39

hi everyone

newmember - sorry about the BFN

liaghen - hold off hold off

I usually have a 27 day cycle regular for year apart from being pregnant and BFing, I'm getting really annoyed no sign of AF so cannot even begin to TTC proper

Cosmosis · 11/06/2009 16:32

It's amazing what you don't notice till you start looking out for things isn't it! Scares me how little we know about our own bodies really.

teenycalls · 11/06/2009 16:24

cosmosis sounds like your cycle took a major step in the right direction last month, fingers crossed you are back to normal this month.

I stopped taking the pill 6 years ago and I swear my cycles are more erratic than before. Seem to have one 28day then 32day then back to 28 again, anyone else have alternating cycle lengths? Never noticed till started recording it!

teenycalls · 11/06/2009 16:19

liahgen men are so funny, I swear they get more excited than us!

I know it's incredibly anal but I just looked at the February 2010 bus and worked out that 1 in 4 people got pg, that means, with the same odds, 6 of us on the bus at the moment should get pg this month. Just a thought...

liahgen · 11/06/2009 15:53

dh just called me

Him - Any news?
Me - What??
Him - well thought you would know by now

Bless him. Told him i was trying to hold off.
