Congrats onlyanauntie and happyatlast - wow this bus has picked up momentum!

happyatlast · 23/06/2009 08:40

Well I am due on today, but on day 22 of my cycle I got slight spotting which I have never had before in my other pregnancies, but anyway it was pinky brown and stopped after about a day and a half, I had cramps too so thought my period was coming, I said to my dp, its come early this month, but like I said it stopped, then I started getting heartburn, going the loo loads and a funny taste in my mouth, feeling tired.

So after work yesterday I nipped in the chemist got a cheap test which was a two pack so thought I'll go home and do one cos I'd held my wee in all day, even though it was unlikely cos it was a cheap take from the day you are due test and I wasnt using my morning wee but I thought I have another test for in the morning so I may aswell give it a go cos I felt sooooo pregnant....

so I went home, sneaked to the loo whilst my dp and kids were downstairs cos I thought it probably wont show up so I can just bin it, not tell anyone so as not to disappoint with a negative and just test again in a day or two, but I took the test and bam!

straight away two lines for pregnant, as clear as anything, so my baby will be due in March 2010 all being well!

Argh - the thirst! Two days in a row I've had to get off my horse to get a drink and last night woke up at 2am obsessed with water, thought I was going to die of thirst. So that's what committed relationships are for! "here boy fetch!"

BellasYummyMummy · 23/06/2009 06:47

oh another bfp!!!! congrats auntie!!! oooh im 7dpo and have been very bubbly/gassy and thirsty!! i must stop symptom spotting!
skihorse- hope you're not complaining!!

onlyanauntie · 23/06/2009 00:04

I have been following this thread for a few weeks but (stupidly) didn't want to join as I thought it would be a jinx.
I've just took a deep breath, tested, and it's only bloody BFP...was not expecting THAT (although sort of was?!).
14 dpo, was getiing nausea on and off for about a week, bloated and bubbly stomach, and raging thirst...but still thought that surely AF was on her way...
Had chem pg about a year ago, ttc properly since then.... fingers and everythign else crossed it's a sticky one....

Hobnobfanatic · 22/06/2009 22:25

Congratulations Skihorse - really thrilled for you!

Indeed, this has TOTALLY fucked my ski season! Sadly I'm not an instructor although a lot of my friends are... so whilst they're regaling me of their monstrously dangerous trails... I'll be sat on the effing couch stroking my skis.

C'mon girls - let's be having more of you!

Dlamis · 22/06/2009 20:53

Congratulations skihorse

Lizkin · 22/06/2009 20:50

oh, and congrats skihorse!!!

another inhabitant of Limburg on the way!

Lizkin · 22/06/2009 20:49

Hello girls,

I need to delete myself from the top of this bus as AF has arrived... still need to figure out whether that puts me at the back of this bus or somewhere on an April bus... anyhow, good luck to everyone still on!

ApuskiDusky · 22/06/2009 18:35

I've updated my stats below. I'm feeling a little low today, I just found out a good friend with a ds the same age as mine is expecting again - we talked about starting to try for the next one a few months back. I'm happy for her, sad I'm not yet able to join her. Anyhow..

BFP!

NancyPreg · 22/06/2009 17:22

so young in fact that I wanted to reinforce the message

NancyPreg · 22/06/2009 17:21

TLC - don't be put off by all the tales of mcs...it hasn't happened to you so there's no need to imagine that it will! That's the danger with getting close to ttc (via a forum such as this) because you're bound to read about a very wide range of experiences, some of which are, sadly, bound to be sad. But there are lots of positive stories to be found too! In fact, I'll bet that the positive stories far outweigh the sad stories!

And you are unbelievably YOUNG YOUNG YOUNG
