Congratulations to those with BFP's, brilliant news. Looks like this is a lucky bus to be on. Just back from hols, no stress, lots of BD'ing, so fingers crossed. I just hope there was some egg action on my part as all other conditions were perfect! Roll on next Tues and AF can bloody well steer clear! Sorry to those who she has visited, but stay positive, we'll get there eventually wont we girls? anyone fancy pulling over for an ice cream?

We're on a roll now! Who is going to be next, there are lots of ladies at the front of the bus now so please reveal all!!

floweringcurrant · 24/06/2009 12:02

TLC - Great news! Those bargain tests were blessed! Huge Congrats!
Don'ttry - sounds promising!

donttrythisathome · 24/06/2009 11:23

Congrats to all the BFPs! Some action around here at last.

I might be another one. AF not overdue yet, but got a very faint line today on a 10m/g test.

TakeLovingChances · 24/06/2009 09:22

Grin Grin

LittleOneMum · 24/06/2009 09:15

OOOH TakeLovingChances that's so fabulous!!!! Am so happy for you. Can't wait to test myself this weekend...

TakeLovingChances · 24/06/2009 08:58

Hello ladies What a lovely summer's day this is.

Remember those Clearblue tests I splashed out on when Tesco where selling them half price? I posted about them several posts ago... Well, I used it again this morning....

BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a faint BFP, but DH tells me it's still a pregnancy line!

Praise God!

I'm still a bit in denial cuz I have AF-type cramps, and until my GP tells me I'm pregnant I'll not believe it.

Woo!

skihorse · 24/06/2009 08:24

Ilovetoshop - because I've graduated my stats have been taken down. BUT, this was my 8th cycle of first pg. I was so shocked when I didn't get pregnant in month 1/2 - I always thought you just threw away the condoms and bought nappies instead.

I was in total denial on Monday morning despite testing positive, because I've been trying so long I think I'd come to accept that it just wasn't going to happen for me - that I have an "inhospitable environment" or something. OH had to convince me it was a blue line!

I went to my GP and got a referral to the fertility clinic 5 weeks ago, where upon they told me they wouldn't help me until November (12 months of trying). Here I am 5 weeks later. Fertility clinic also gave me a referral to a specialist pregnancy dietician whom I saw last friday and will see again this friday...

nanoo · 24/06/2009 08:22

Girls, you're brilliant - am plotting how to get DH tipsy but not wasted (3 or 4 nights in a row?!!). Schlepping to hospital during in the morning, injecting drugs in my stomach the afternoon and fememe fatale by night. Just an average day for a girl TTC!

oscarsmumm · 24/06/2009 07:43

Good Morning Everyone, hope everyone is feeling ok and positive this month !

Well AF was due to pay me a visit but so far there is no sign - getting a few cramps though and was very emotional over the weekend but I have had no pains or spots which is usually a sign she is here. Just resisting testing as I am strangly enjoying this not knowing stage

Will keep you posted xx

sweetkitty · 24/06/2009 07:39

Morning ladies congrats to all 3 BFPs and lots of and thoughts to shose the evil witch got you

I feel a old hat at this, this will be the the 5th time I have TTC, first time took me 9 months so please do not despair ladies that are on 6,7 and 8 cycles, easy to say I know, next 3 times it was first month of TTC, no reasoning behind it at all, our bodies are so weird.

I don't tell DH my fertile times either but I think he guesses I throw in a few recreational BDs start and end of the month too mix it up a bit

Right back to business who is testing today?

ilove2shop · 23/06/2009 22:15

aww very true!

NancyPreg · 23/06/2009 22:14

P.S. not drunk obviously - you don't want to incur additional complications

NancyPreg · 23/06/2009 22:12

nanoo didn't realise you were having such invasive tests but the silver lining of having such insight into how your cycle/body works should hopefully be your BFP . Good luck for the next few days...could you get your DH tipsy?

teenycalls · 23/06/2009 22:10

ilove2shop you are not cracking up. We all feel the same that is why we belong to this group. Feel free to say anything in the knowledge that no matter what it is we will consider you to be totally normal All nutters together and all that!

nanoo · 23/06/2009 22:07

thanks girls - all good suggestions. Would be great if he didn't know when I was fertile - but because we're doing treatment at the hospital we know every tiny stage of my cycle (e.g today I have a follicle on my right side that's 14mm and my lining is 5.8mm so I should ovulate in about 3 days...blah blah). So poor DH knows. In fact he's told by the hospital when he has to perform. No wonder he gets so worried!!

teenycalls · 23/06/2009 22:07

nanoo please don't feel like you are alone, after 11 years together DP and I are finding all this BD a bit tiresome, he sometimes doesn't even want to try when I am OV cos it makes him feel 'used'

Have tried explaining that it won't happen unless we do it at the right time and the window is quite small but I think that just made it worse. He wants to feel like it happens by magic so has asked if next cycle I can just jump on him without warning

ilove2shop · 23/06/2009 22:06

Thanks girls, i may start a new one, but ill pop in here too! Fingers x for your bfp!
Like the first on, first off, so will try for that one!!
The fact everyone is so nice, almost has me crying..... think im cracking up!!

NancyPreg · 23/06/2009 22:02

nanoo, I guess you've tried everything to keep things lighthearted (not exactly easy when you know the time is ripe, so to speak)...does your Dh guess when you are fertile or do you tell him? If you want to hide your fertile window from him, then you could try BD across the month?! Not always easy if you work odd hours or travel around for your work but it could take some of the pressure off?
Sorry, not laughing cos it can't be easy...all you can do is keep going as best you can until you get your BFP!

ilovetoshop don't lose heart, you will get tthere in the end. Hope you feel better tomorrrow. I guess the April bus must be due for departure soon - first on, first off?

teenycalls · 23/06/2009 22:01

Sorry the witch got you ilove2shop, it can be very disheartening to have friends that fall pg accidentally, don't think any of mine have actually 'tried'

Why not add yourself to the back of this bus for now, would be good to have your company on this journey still

ilove2shop · 23/06/2009 21:58

Nanoo, maybe try and cook a nice meal, a massage perhaps and just take it slowly, go to bed early etc the fact he gets frustrated wont help, if stage fright comes along dont make a big deal out of it and try a hour or so later xxxx

ilove2shop · 23/06/2009 21:51

Well AF got me on Monday... now on cycle 7 sooooo f*cked off... thats putting it nicely!! Had a few tears this time, never thought it would take longer than 6mths

To make it worse my friend just got preg while on the pill and cried and cried and cried...saying why did this happen to me.. i dont want a baby, felt like shakeing her and telling her that she is sooo lucky!!!

Shall i start a new bus for April ?
xX

nanoo · 23/06/2009 21:51

Kinda a relief to know we're not the only ones!! I try so hard to be light-hearted and not put him under any pressure - but he gets so cross with himself. Must seem very comical to an outsider, but I don't know what to do...

teenycalls · 23/06/2009 21:48

BellasYummyMummy i'm going to hold out until at least next Wednesday which will be 14DPO for me [determined but doubful emoticon!] really hoping for BFP this month.

There are now 37 of us on the bus so by my reconing that should be 9 BFPs between us, only 3 so far so still plenty to go round! Good luck

Any news from the passengers at the front of the bus? You've all gone very quiet x

BellasYummyMummy · 23/06/2009 21:31

nanoo we have the same problem here!!
