Jardins you pass with a gold star - if i knew how to do them on here. lol.

Thanks Wasabi.

kittycatcat · 23/04/2009 10:52

Thanks C1ndy
Yep started Monday. It's going ok, but not quite settled in yet, have been a few points over, but it's a start.

wasabipeanut · 23/04/2009 10:45

Jools I have eveything crossed that its all ok for you. Don't give up hope yet. Your GP sounds like she's being helpful which is something.

C1ndy - after my mc I got my first period exacly 30 days after the last bit of tissue was passed. Apparently this is the norm so that may help you with your ttc planning!

P1nky - have a lovely day out with your ds. Feel free to share if you have any news later!

Iggy - i know what you mean about the unknowingly upsetting comments. I remember when I was bleeding before the mc properly started in January and one of the mums at my ds's Tumbletots class asked me if I was planning to have anymore kids. It wasn't a happy moment for me. She was only being chatty and didn't know at all but I decided then that asking anyone if they are going to have kids/more kids is just not on.

Kitty - good luck on the appraisal. When I had a "proper" job (I must stop referring to it as that) I used to hate them too!

Nothing to report here really. Just entering the 2nd week of the 2WW.

Joolsiam · 23/04/2009 10:34

Thankyou Jardins - and I was so caught up in myself yesterday, I forgot to say welcome from another spring chicken I will be 40 in Nov and haven't yet had any children ..

Have just told my boss why I either have to duck out of an 11am conference call early or not attend at all - couldn't get him on the phone so left him a voice mail that said "check your email" - I didn't want to tell him, but equally didn't want to be judged as lazy / underperforming after not doing anything so far this week

flintski · 23/04/2009 10:31

hi - sorry haven't been around much (again!) - just wanted to say that I'm thinking of you jools - hope your gp can get you a scan and that everything is ok.

hi to everyone else

Dear Jools, I really am sorry for what you're going through; the uncertainty of the outcome is draining. Keep us posted.

Kittycatcat, good morning and thanks for your beautifully clear instructions. Have I passed the test?!!

C1NDY · 23/04/2009 10:24

Kittycat good luck with the appraisal... they are horriable (spelling I know must be wrong for that word... oh well). I always feel like they are going to shot me down when I go for mine but they always turn out good touch wood. Have FUN! How is your Weight watchers (WW) going? did you not start?

Iggy I never thought of that... I use to always ask.. humm guess I won't be doing that again. It is upsetting. I have friends who are pg, younger than me and with their first baby. I am 40 with one adorable little girl but want another one soon - getting older by the day!!

OP posts:
kittycatcat · 23/04/2009 09:57

Oh no. Are you ok Iggy?

I got offered a seat on the tube last night. I am 4ft 11 and size 14, this happens alot. I wish people wouldnt assume. When the time does come i will make a point of asking as am sick of being offered for being overweight!

iggypiggy · 23/04/2009 09:47

kitty I feel the same about mine!

C1ndy no AF for a while I reckon as only stopped bleeding from MC on Sunday... I guess around a month would be when it might come? Who knows...

A strange thing... my friends have asked me alot in the last few days if i am planning on having any children... I think I will try to restrain myself from asking anyone that question ever again - cos the timing is a bit upsetting for me... imagine I've unknowingly upset people by asking this..

kittycatcat · 23/04/2009 09:40

Oh jools Big hugs. I have everything crossed for you. I hope you get on ok at the doctors, great that they are looking after you. We are here for you. xx

I have my appraisal today. I hate appraisals and am not a fan of my boss either

C1NDY · 23/04/2009 09:28

I have so much to do this week. My boss is on hols, so not only am I doing my work... I am doing his too!! which means I can only come on here in the morning to post

OP posts:
C1NDY · 23/04/2009 09:27

Morning Iggy how are you... did you say that your AF has returned? or are you still waiting?... I am still waiting for mine... it should be arriving next week I think but am hoping it will arrive earlier so that I would know my system is functioning normally.

OP posts:
C1NDY · 23/04/2009 09:25

Jools I am praying for you. Its nice to have a caring GP. Now you look after yourself and relax - easier said than done, I know.... be positive. (hugs)

OP posts:
iggypiggy · 23/04/2009 09:24

jools I have everything crossed for you. I really really hope your little bean sticks. Although like c1ndy says - we are all here for you whatever happens xx

Joolsiam · 23/04/2009 09:23

A lovely GP I've never heard of before has called me back and is "juggling" my LMP dates to see if she can get me a scan for tomorrow (they won't accept referrals under 6 weeks) She wants me in to see her at midday just to check things out and rule out ectopic (which I'm sure it is not)

Fingers still crossed - boobs haven't deflated and I still feel mildly nauseous and the bleeding isn't very heavy ....

C1NDY · 23/04/2009 09:13

Jools (hugs to you) I am so sorry. I am still praying that its not all over for you. As sometimes, I know people do bleed during their preganancy (my sister bled all the way through hers). We are here for you. (big hugs)

OP posts:
Joolsiam · 23/04/2009 09:01

Morning - woke up to a little finger sized and shaped clot - part of the lining maybe ? and have red blood this morning - not bright red, but not brown either. Tum feels like AF is here. Bleeding is like a light AF at the moment, so no need for A&E or anything drastic.

Am waiting for my GP to call but, realistically, I think it is all over. Part of me is just relieved that it has happened now, and not next week when I'm on hols, or in 6 weeks time (like the last one) when the hormones are so much stronger and you think you are almost out of the danger zone

C1NDY · 23/04/2009 08:46

Wasbi I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you!

Jools How are U? Have been thinking of you all evening and this morning. Do let us know how you are.

No show of AF... Cindy taps on desk and take a very long sigh

yellowflowers · 22/04/2009 19:22

Hope bleeding stops now jools

Sorry kitty, bah!

I don't like starkness of digital tests either.

Welcome jardin

Not to tonsillitis as I have no tonsils. But def some kind of throat infection.

funtimewincies · 22/04/2009 18:49

Just popping in for the news. Got a booking-in appointment next week so that's the next milestone to work towards. MS has tailed of big-time these last couple of days, although I'm still retching first thing, so trying not to panic.

Jools - hang on in there. Our EPAU will only see people 6weeks+, but there is nothing wrong with fudging your dates a little. Dates are only exact when the medical profession wants them to be! Hope that you're OK and lots of bean-stickiness from this end.

I've missed too much gossip so just a 'good luck' to anyone waiting to test.

kittycatcat · 22/04/2009 17:45

Oops that spelling makes no sense to anyone!

kittycatcat · 22/04/2009 17:44

Hi Wasabi Am looking forward to starting temping and ov sticks .

Jardins i have asted the table below, so highlightit, right click on your mouse and click copy. Then paste it into your message. And just slot your name and details in where appropriate hope this makes sense? If not, tell me your details and i will pop you in ;)

Good Lord I'm a novice: can a kind soul out there (and you do all seem like a lovely ladies) tell me how to add my name and info to the list?

Many thanks

Pinkyblue123 · 22/04/2009 16:31

Hi Wasabi I have the same book from Boots. I too seem to have ovulated a day later than I thought i had been doing too.

I am starting to get twitchy about doing a test so have decided that tomorrow i will go for a nice day out with my DD and enjoy the sunshine and try to forget about it.

wasabipeanut · 22/04/2009 16:23

Hi girls,

Blimey, 56 posts already! We have been busy!
Jools are you ok sweetie? Has spotting stopped? Repeat after me "the odds in favour of a positive outcome are still very high, even after one or more mc's."

Jardin - welcome! as you will see from the grads list this has been a pretty luck thread. Sorry to hear of your mc - many of us have been through a similar experience so feel free to vent of you are having a down day.

Kitty - sorry she got you. Onwards for next month!

P1nky you are doing very well to hold out. I am with you on the temping - this is the 1st month I have done it properly and its been fascinating. I'm fairly sure I have been oving a day later than I thought which could explain a few things. I had a lot of disruption at the beginning of the month with tonsilitus (which Yellow it sounds lke may have got you) and ds having an ear infection which caused a lot of night waking so I think a lot of early readings were higher than they should have been. Even so I can still see a distinct pattern to my chart - _ I got one of those little books from Boots with their thermometers.

Well, my temp went back up above the coverline this morning. My little temp dip seems to have passed.
