wasabi am just currently waiting for her to push off... which is also annoying! Can youremember if your first period was odd after MC? Mine is v. bright red (sorry all!) am guessing that I prob didn't ovulate?

Really hope is good news for you wasabi and for pinky I want more BFPs here!

wasabipeanut · 20/05/2009 15:51

I know what you mean. Its so difficult isn't it? Being torn between hope and not wanting the crushing disappointment afterwards.

Pinkyblue123 · 20/05/2009 15:43

I don't know why I am not feeling too hopeful Wasabai maybe I am just not wanting to get my hopes up, I guess I will know on Friday

wasabipeanut · 20/05/2009 15:00

Hi Iggy glad your AF has arrived and that you can now let the ttc commence! It's so frustrating isn't it when you are just waiting for her to show? A complete reversal of course of the usual situation.

Yellow thats so lovely that you and dh are still having some fun! I think no matter how hard you try there will always be an element of sex becoming a bit mechanical when ttc. Its important I think to keep it up even in non fertile windows! Plus it doesn;t do mens swimmers any good to be cooped up for more than a week or so at a time apparently!

Welcome lucygrif to our little group. The usual pattern seems to be new people who have been ttc for ages joining our thread then getting a BFP almost straight away so you're following a good trend! Sorry AF showed up this month but fingers crossed for the next.

I am going quietly potty waiting for the days to pass now. I am convincing myself more and more that somthing is afoot as I am having symptoms I haven't had since my last BFP. Could just be coincidence though.

We are going away at the weekend to inlaws and I thought about buying some tests to take but decided against. It can wait until Monday if the lovely pg party going on in my head isn't rudely crashed by the evil witch.

CD24 and counting....

P1nky why not hopeful?

Welome Lucygrif sorry to hear AF arrived, you are very welcome to hang out with us here, it is a very supportive thread.

Yellow you hit the nail on the head when you say that there is a difference between babymaking and fun sex, my DH and I feel that TTC does affect our sex life, but when you have to do it at the right time it is tricky.

Any more news Wasabai I think you are the one to watch this month, I have everything crossed for you.

AF due Friday, but am not feeling hopeful this month, not sure why, starting to feel like it is never going to happen

How are you Iggy Whatsfortea Cindy Jools and anyone else I have missed off

yellowflowers · 19/05/2009 20:24

Sorry to hear that lucygrif and welcome - do stay and obsess with us and do add yourself to list.

Sounding potentially exciting wasabi..

Just had funny email from dh - he is at work event tonight but promised to come home for some BD action. He sent me a formal message saying he will be out until such and such a time and that he has not forgotten our planned activities which he very much hopes to fulfill.

On the weekend we had proper sex - I mean fun normal not just give me your sperm sex but some messing about and being adventurous rather than let's get it over with and then bung legs in the air.And he;s been v loving to me ever since... plus I enjoyed it much more.
x

lucygrif · 19/05/2009 16:57

that didn't last long, AF just turned up

lucygrif · 19/05/2009 16:34

hello girls, thought I'd add to the mix here!!
TTC for nearly 6 years, had ONE pregnancy (ectopic 4 years ago) - no apparent problems with either of us, but they gave me Clomid anyway.
Currently on CD33 of a fairly regular 30 day cycle and got a BFN yesterday. Am crossing my legs hoping that AF doesn't come!! Will test again on Thursday. GOING CRAZY!!! x

Pinkyblue123 · 19/05/2009 15:07

Sounding very positive Wasabai

I too have been feeling a bit of nausea today, but in the past not had MS until around 6 weeks.

Ooooh I hate this waiting bit....

wasabipeanut · 19/05/2009 15:02

Jools it sounds like your girlie weekend will be just the ticket.

I have also been having the emotional ups ad downs. I was very weepy towards the end of last week - blubbed down the phone to dh on Friday afternoon! But then by Sunday was feeling very happy and content with my lot.

No PMT yet but I tend to get it anyway - just get very bloaty which I have had on and off for the last week.

Joolsiam · 19/05/2009 14:35

Hi Wasabi - I am 95% certain that AF will arrive on Sunday, but if she doesn't, I'll be testing after the Bank Holiday as I am away on a girlie weekend Your symptoms definitely sound very good

Have had some lotiony cm, which I only ever have with a BFP, but there has been hardly any for the last couple of days, plus my boobs are teeny, floppy and non-pregnant. So, an outside chance - I have some mild cramping again today and also felt stronger cramps on Friday. My mood is irritable / weepy = pre menstrual, as my BFP's in the past have been characterised by an astoundingly good mood and complete absence of PMT !!

wasabipeanut · 19/05/2009 14:29

CD23 in the peanut house and the symptom spotting is going great guns. I have had some very dizzy spells when going from sitting to standing and sense of smell has gone into overdrive.

My nips are tingling from time to time and I also get the odd stabby pain there. Faint surges of nausea from time to time as well.

Lotiony CM but no cramping or anything. Need to pee a lot as well.

In theory it sounds great doesn't it but ALL of this can be high progesterone so I'm not getting my hopes up.

My luteal phase last month was 12 days and because I ov'd early this month I am, in theory, due on Saturday rather than the Monday I had myself down for. We will be at my in laws in Norfolk anyway so I can't test. If nothing happens will be testing bank holiday Monday but will prob be in the sad corner with a huge gin by then.

Who's with me?

Pinkyblue123 · 19/05/2009 14:01

Jools 29th May will be a tough one for you. I was gutted on my EDD as I really hoped that I would be PG again. It did not help that my EDD was my birthday, so it was rather hard to forget!

Only 3 days until AF due, I am going away this weekend so I guess that ?I can console myself by getting p*ed if I have not managed a BFP

How is the symptom spotting going Wasabai?

yellowflowers · 19/05/2009 12:50

hello - this thread has been so quiet recently. heelllooooo! Any symptom spotters? We're still in BD fest...
x

wasabipeanut · 18/05/2009 15:55

I think Sparky had already graduated when I joined the thread so I haven't really chatted to her. Am very happy for her though - its always nice to hear of a new delivery!

Hey Jools - you alright honey? May 29th isn't going to be a good day. It can be tough sometimes can't it?

Joolsiam · 18/05/2009 15:31

Yup

Nelix is due very soon, and my EDD would have been May 29th

yellowflowers · 18/05/2009 15:29

That is brilliant news for sparky - I will go and leave message too.

I feel a bit sad that we all started this journey together over 9 months ago!

C1NDY · 18/05/2009 14:14

Jardins you take it easy and I am really happy for you.

Jools WoW Sparky has had a baby I will go on to GFJ thread and leave a message for her... goush, how wonderful!

Dear Cindy, Jools, and Pinkblue, thank you so much for your kind words. Guys, you know what? I was CONVINCED we hadn't struck lucky this month - my husband is only around 2 days a week since he started his new job. Also I'd had such a stressful time (I'm not going to go into that again - too boring for others). Jools, I also came down with a horrible virus, which I think somewhat camouflaged the very early pregnancy symptoms. Please take heart from my experience: it will happen to you too, possibly when you least expect it.

I am feeling nauseous and tearful today. I am aware of being incredibly lucky to be given this chance and rather sober in light of recent mc. I think I will need a little hand-holding at times .

Good luck to all.

Pinkyblue123 · 18/05/2009 09:49

Hi Ladies, congratulations Jardins great news!!

Hope everyone is well.

Glad to see there is plenty of symptom spotting going on Wasabai and Jools lets hope that we get a few more BFP.

Well 10 DPO for me and I am feeling a bit low today, like I am not going to have luck this month - again! Even though I know it is too early to know I just feel that I cannot face raised hopes and then having them dashed again when AF arrives. Will get results of blood test next week.

One thing the doc said to me last week was that TTC was like rolling a 6 on a dice some people throw it straight away some take quite a few attempts, I guess I must be falling into the latter sorry to be miserable ladies

Joolsiam · 18/05/2009 09:17

I'm sure some people on here will remember Sparky from our original GFJ thread ??

Well, she has recently had our first thread baby

Joolsiam · 18/05/2009 09:05

Oh, meant to add - I don't think I can be PG because my boobs are still quite resolutely a floppy B cup !!

Good luck to everyone else on the 2WW

Joolsiam · 18/05/2009 09:04

Fab news Jardins - hopefully this is the start of many more

Well I think I'm on a 2WW, but not much chance of a BFP owing to DP performance issues again I think I am 8 or 9DPO - did have creamy cm a few days ago, plus thrush, plus vivid dreams and started getting excited, especially when I was having period-like cramps on Friday.

However, yesterday and today, I've simply been suffering from crippling exhaustion and a raised temperature and strongly suspect this is simply a virus

C1NDY · 18/05/2009 08:57

Jardins Wahoo! congratulations. Just relax and think positive.

This is great news, we needed a BFP to cheer us all up, may the lucky continue... they say it comes in three's .
