Hi everyone. I am starting up a new thread since our old one was reaching the 1000 post limit.

Here is a link to the old thread.

I agree paddington I felt much better on 100mg but took this to be because of how long I had been on it. Whens your app to get tubes checked, try not to stress yourself about it, (at least thats what I am trying to tell myself)

Clure that really is shoddy treatment I wish there was someone we could complain too but we are pretty much left with what we are given.

Welcome shreksmisses I know excatly how you feel, so frustrating and stressful. I wish you every success

Hows everyone else? xxx

paddington21 · 25/06/2009 19:53

Hi all no news here other feeling negative have convinced myself its not happening because my tubes are blocked- i have no evidence to prove this and am probably just torturing myself!
on the two week wait now had lots of bding so did all we could.

Feel better on 100mg than 50- how odd.

Welcome shrekmissus am so sorry to hear about your situation I agree with you and clure it is such a rollercoaster.

clure am sor sorry the hospital are mucking your around that is ridiculous! And to receive such a letter is very cruel.

Hope everyone is ok hope and dust x x

Clure · 25/06/2009 18:07

hi shrekmissis so sorry to hear of your losses. It certainly is a rollercoaster. I too have a DD who is 4 and was conceived first cycle on clomid. My periods weren't regular after having her. Now trying to conceive number 2 and have had one cycle of 50mg clomid which was not successful, i took provera to induce a period as previously i was waiting 5 months for it to turn up! I'm now taking 100mg and haven't felt any side effects. I, and a few other ladies here take clomid at night and it seems to be a good way of escaping any possible side effects.

I've just had another letter from consultant putting my august appt back to september. Am cross as this is the second time its changed and we've rearranged our holiday to fit with the august date. I feel after the last letter to tell me that my wonky hormones suggest low egg supply (and aged 41) my time is running out.

Sorry for rant. hope everyone else well xxxx

Hiya

Good news Pinky I hope its a defo BFP and is a sticky bean x

Clure - alot of women said they dont really notice alot of difference in side effects from 50-100mg so hopefully that will be you too.
Its weird as last month I had alot side effects like cramps, bloating and headaches but this month I have been fine. All very weird as on same dose of 50mg.

me and DH have been on a marathon bding session this month as its been every day since last wed which is good for us as normally too knackered. Gonaa try and keep it up for a few more days

Have a good week ladies

CONGRATS! pinkpanther!!! Loads of sticky dust for you.

pinkypanther · 23/06/2009 06:33

Hello all. Thanks for the good luck messages.

Well, the line is a bit pinker and darker this morning so I guess it is a BFP!

Never thought this would happen and still a long way to go - I had a MMC in February so just praying that this one sticks and grows ok.

Lots of baby dust to the rest of you. Will pop in again soon to see how you're all doing.

how are the rest of you? x

pinkypanther · 22/06/2009 09:48

Morning all. Hope you're all doing ok. Some news from me: I had the faintest of faint lines on a PG test yesterday afternoon

It was so faint that when I showed it to DH he said first of all that he couldn't see it, and then that 'that was just how the test looks'. So I made him pee on one as a control! There was no faint line on his.

Both of us are far too scared to get our hopes up on what could have been an evaporation line, so am going to test again tomorrow. Will report back then! Please don't congratulate me yet, don't want to get my hopes up...

clairebear88 · 22/06/2009 09:35

Hi

Had a great weekend thanks and hopefully the celebrations will carry on tonight .

Clure - sorry the witch arrived especially coz she was early ( how rude ). Also sperm count varies so much depending on stress and diet so maybe get DH checked out anyway for peace of mind. My DH had 2 tests 6 months apart and one was 18mill and the next one was 35mill. We worked out alot of crap was happening round time of the 1st test so may have had a big impact.

Shrek - HELLO I think it does vary a little to what day to start it but I think mostly in Uk its CD 2-6 then internal scan (egg scan)on CD 9-13. I hope you get on ok with the tabs. Stay with us to let us know how you get on

Any other news ladies xx

Josie123 · 20/06/2009 22:31

Hi
Well I have read the thread tonight but have now forgotten everyone's details argh!

I took Clomid days 2-6, had a few hot sweats in the night but this was last week when we had hot nights anyway. Been a bit short tempered with DH and DS but trying to contain that!! On CD24 today but as I know I had no follicle waiting to OV on CD21 I am being rather lax in BDing! Been too busy and pressure is off!!

Clure you sound like one fit woman!! My DH is very sporty and I am the complete opposite! Sorry to hear about AF but at least you haven't had to wait ages for AF (I waited over 100 days and I read that you did too earlier this month!) and you can start Clomid again.

Clairebear, I would be very excited if I were you, happy BDing, will be waiting with bated breath in a couple of weeks for news!

Hello to everyone else.

Must go and dry my hair before bed or will be a frizz head!

X

Clure · 20/06/2009 16:18

shrekmissus hi, I'm taking clomid day 2-6 and I think thats fairly standard although I know of some ladies who take it a bit later in their cycle (day 5 I think) not sure if its anything to do with when you usually ovulate, hth

stac hi hope you doing ok. DH sperm was done first time round when conceived DD. We are taking it for granted its still ok, though maybe we should request its retested to be on the safe side.

have a good evening. Off for my swim x
