Hey girls here's the new thread

Morning girlies,

Hi louise . Good luck! 18 months is a long time, im sure you're tearing your hair out by now [sympathetic smile emotion]. I hate when people say that too, and i esp hate when the doc says "its not a long time to be trying", thats why its a relief to come on here and know that all you ladies will understand where im coming from

btw you are all great . dp thinks im weird for coming on here and telling strangers about my life, but hes a man so he really doesnt have the same perspective on things as women do, bless him lol plus when you're bearing your soul to someone and sharing fears and hopes they aren't exactly strangers anymore, more like friends.

God i don't know whats wrong with me today, im all lovey dovey lol

Im thinking we should maybe start the list up again but i really couldnt be arsed-the obsessiveness is too much. Maybe we should start a list just with our names, cycle number and ttc #-what you all think????

Hi louise, I started clomid on sunday so we are more or less cycle buddies Its my first time too and im quite nervous. Good luck

Louise00 · 09/06/2009 22:53

Hi everyone

Not sure if I am in the right thread. My Husband and I have ttc for 18 months now with absolutley no success (although I may have had a suspected MC last year but it was never confirmed) Anyway our fertility cons has started me on 50mcg of Clomid and today is my first day of taking it. I really have no idea what to expect, I have been on a complete rollercoaster of emotions since we started ttc with no luck. Having read all your msg I was hoping for some advice and support, you guys look like your pretty good at providing that and tbh it's so nice to be able to talk to people in the same boat- if i hear 'it will happen when it's ready'from my family one more time I think im going to scream.I will log in regulary to try and keep up to date with everything. Thanks Louise xx

Bubblebell1 · 09/06/2009 21:19

Hi gem good luck on this ttc rollercoaster.

gemsta · 09/06/2009 21:09

Thank you, finger's are very much crossed, and for you too - 13 mths of this must be really tough but guess it will happen when it's meant to!

xXx

seanybosmummy · 09/06/2009 20:48

hiya gemsta, you're very welcome to join us . Best of luck for this month!! its about time we had another bfp on here to cheer us all up! I sympathise with the are they/arn't they symptoms- i just dont do it anymore cause after 13 mths ttc it gets a lot little frustrating.

bubble i know where you're coming from, it all feels a bit hopeless sometimes, but chin up cause i am positive the clomid will work for you xxx

OP posts:
gemsta · 09/06/2009 20:26

Hiya,

Hope you don't mind me joining this thread!

I'm on my second month TTC#1, thought it would be so easy and was convinced last month - so much so I think the excitement of it made me late by a week! Completely understand the hpt addiction now and really gonna try to resist this month (can get expensive!).

Currently TTC#1 UCL 28-30 CD20

No symptoms as yet - guess it's too early! not sure would trust my judgement anyway as I 'thought' I had loads of symptoms last month -all in my head clearly!

Can't believe I thought it would be so easy, when I never really had any maternal instincts I was paranoid about falling pregnant if late with the pill, now I have such a longing to become a mum and it all seems so difficult and heart-wrenching!
Me and my other half aren't telling anyone we are trying which is why I'm hoping for support from here, you all seem to know so much!

Sorry if I'm rambling, will keep posts short from now on!!

Bubblebell1 · 09/06/2009 14:43

Hi seany

im good ta, you? Really bored of TTC and wondering if another 1 is such a good idea. I suppose everyone thinks like this at some point. Im just cacking myself about the clomid and its side affects. Today is the 3rd day ive been taking it, only 2 more to go. DH has his sperm test on thursday and then i have the long wait til day 21 to see if i ovd. Im gonna use opks too. just so i have an idea of when to get busy. Thats if i even ovulate. I feel like im fighting a loosing battle.
How will i get pg if i dont release an egg?? Hopefully the clomid will sort that.

Hope your all well.

seanybosmummy · 09/06/2009 13:13

Hi everyone!

whitty did you get your results yesterday???

Is it just me or is this week dragging in?

Well girls nothing new with me apart from patiently waiting for my blood test app on friday morning. Not even going to waste my time symptom spotting this month cause don't think we had any luck. Have lost count of my cd and i dont even care, i am just feeling relief that the doc has finally agreed to start the ball rolling with the blood test.

Joy how are you feeling? Any nasty pg symptoms plaguing you yet?

Bubble how are you?

Ant hows things-hows the new house?

How is everyone else?

Hello again...

I'm guessing everyone must be having a great weekend looking at how quiet it is on here

I don't really have anything to say or update or share (how boring am I?)I just wanted to check in and say hi to everyone - I wish it was Friday instead of Monday.

Roll on Saturday...holiday!!!! Yippeeeeee... Only to Skegness but I can't wait, kids are gonna have a ball!!!

Anyhow - take care everyone

Kaylo · 07/06/2009 09:30

Heya

Bubble You're right it does make him seem somehow closer. He does go away quite often with work but this time it's a football tournament that he's playing in down in Brighton. He's travelling back tonight but won't get home til about 2am

And my oh my you do have a lot of pets I have my hands full just keeping the kids away from our cat. I feel sorry for her sometimes cos the kids don't let her chill and sleep lol. She tends to stay outside these days and I don't blame her.

Take Care Everyone - might pop on later if anything exciting happens today (like thats even likely...)

Bubblebell1 · 07/06/2009 08:38

oops ds2 just pressed the keyboard.

is fishing today. I dont envy him being out at sea in this weather. I dont even get the attraction?? smelly, cold, wet, and rocking back and forth. def not my idea of fun.

Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend

xxxxxxxxxxxx

Bubblebell1 · 07/06/2009 08:36

seany i hope you enjoyed your me time. im gonna watch BB now. sky plus is a godsend. How is everything? are you in your 2ww yet?

DH is fishing today, i dont env

Kaylo · 06/06/2009 20:40

Hi Everyone Hope everyone is having a suuuuper weekend

There is no gossip really - just a case of mistaken identity I feel. Some people change their names on here and it's not always clear you're talking to the same person - super confusing!! MY own ditzy fault.

I blame hubby cos he's away and I miss him but he'll be back soon I guess. Only 2 more days.

Bubble Your puppy is sooo adorable, makes me almost want one but we have a cat and I don't think she would like that
And what fantastic news about your AF, and to start using clomid as well - it's looking bright for you hun xx gonna be a good couple of months this - I can feel it in my bones...

Anyhow, am gonna log off now as am shattered and not feeling very well Honestly think it's cos dh not here and I get panic attacks. Hate them!!!!!

Take Care everyone - hope everyones ok cos there doesn't seem to be many people on here lately...

(((hugs)))

seanybosmummy · 06/06/2009 20:36

whitty WOWEEEEEE thats fantastic. I want to do my happy dance for you

ccpink EEeeeeek!! Loads of messed up stuff, sheesh. I'm gonna stay here for now as I love chatting to the people on here, kay4matt doesn't even come on here so much now...she isn't even on the stats list.
I know on her profile she's listed as being 16 and I did think but hey.
Don't worry about leaving the garden...I'm hoping we'll bump into eachother on the ante-natal threads soon I'm staying hopeful.

Take Care Everyone xxx

ccpink · 05/06/2009 13:28

Kaylo - I'm hopping on very quickly and trying to look young just to let you know that I felt I had to leave the natural garden after reading a link to a thread with Kay4Matt only being really young and loads of messed up stuff. I didn't want you to think I had abandoned you on there but didn't like to be nasty in the garden either so thought it was better to wander silently away. I'm sticking to my month thread now - feels safer - hate horribleness - not sure that's a word

whittywantababy6 · 05/06/2009 13:20

So I went to the dr...again ladies I forgot to tell you guys...but my temp was right at my coverline...now they actually think this is my dip..she said if my temp goes back up tomorrow then it definitely wasnt af...and she said she has had patients to get implantation as late as 22 dpo...so that was very positive
