OP posts:
seanybosmummysfedupwaiting · 23/10/2009 14:09

Hey Ant, you sound a lot more positive and relaxed about it all, which is always a good thing

My hormones must be all over the place at the mo cause my period ended 2 days ago and now it has started again, along with cramps. Don't know what is going on so hopefully i get some answers next week.

I have been very weepy today cause i found out last nite my sil is pregnant with her 6th child. obv i am very pleased for her but i am upset at seeing pg women everywhere i turn-thats 2 sil's pg, my auntie and my friend in work

Anyway on a more positive note i am moving house in a few weeks Woohoo, can't wait, its a brand new house and a fresh start for the 3 of us.

How are you liking your new house?

AntdamnUallToHell · 22/10/2009 12:32

Hi Seany

I was beginning to think I was on my own here.
Good to see that things are moving forward for you, I'm sure the tests will be a walk in the park

Not much happening with me, with all our time ttc DP and I had a lot of time to talk about what we want etc....so here I am.

Think AF is on her way anyway (wasn't holding out much hope for this month) So will start properly next month.

seanybosmummysfedupwaiting · 22/10/2009 08:55

obv i meant to write i waited 7 weeks, not waiting

seanybosmummysfedupwaiting · 22/10/2009 08:47

Welcome back Ant . How are things with you?

Hello to everyone else. I disappeared for such a long time because I hoped a wee break might help-obv not lol so i have name changed to suit my mood..

Well just an update on me.. I have my hospital app on the 30th of this month to check why im not ov, check for pcos and for all sorts of other tests, which i am absolutely bricking myself about..I waiting 7 weeks from referral until the letter came, so now that the date is looming im scared about what they will find, though also hopeful that i may get some answers, and that will get some good baby news in the near future.

How is everyone else doing?

Congrats to all who got their bfps!!

AntdamnUallToHell · 15/10/2009 10:41

Hey ladies,

Was wondering if anyone was still up for the TTC lark.

I am officially back on the wagon!!!

Where has everyone gone?????

bluesnowfalcon · 12/10/2009 08:22

Hi all - need some thoughts here! I POAS this morning but only an ebay cheapie and got a faint line what do you think? Crappy test or posibly a BFP????

Have sent a friend out to buy a first response or a clear blue today while I'm at work! Any thoughts anyone??

harmonyb23 · 08/10/2009 15:57

Hey Katie,

Sorry to hear about your termination, I can understand you being very upset. It is good that you are looking to the future though and are already thinking about trying again.

My name is Becky and I am 21 and currently TTC, not having much luck so far ...

Hope everyone else is well?

katiecubs · 02/10/2009 16:40

Hi Girls,

I wonder if you would mind if joined you here?

I had a termination a month ago at 14 weeks when my scan revealed that my baby had severe abnormalities and was incompatible with life.

We are so very, very sad (it was my first pg) but would like to TTC again soon. Currently waiting for my AF - god knows when she will arrive. I've been told that i might have irregular cycles for the next few months so it might take me a while!

I hope you are all well,

Katie xx

harmonyb23 · 29/09/2009 13:12

Hey everyone... Just read all your posts from way-back-when. I am so sorry to hear about your MC Kaylo but good luck for the future.

Congratulations to everyone who has been successful this month... I myself was hoping that I'd be getting a BFP this month. But sadly AF has reared her ugly head! I was thinking it might have been implantation bleeding to start with, as it was so light (which is very unlike my periods) but it was not so! The good news is that since I have had the contraceptive implant removed I have had regular periods each 27/28 days apart so at least I can actually start calculating when I'm ovulating etc... Try again this month I guess!!

Hope everyone is well?

Kaylo · 28/09/2009 16:30

my wink didn't work!!

Kaylo · 28/09/2009 16:30

Hi April

I never saw the doctor with dd or ds. Straight to midwife.

Obv this was different but had it have been a successful pregnancy I would have gone straight to midwife again. It should have been my booking in appointment today at 11:15. T'was so sad - I sat there watching the clock thinking about what questions I would be asked/answering. What MW would be writing in my notes.

I'm trying really really hard not to think like this but my brain does not want to disengage!![frustrated emoticon]

Ok...lets think positively...WE WILL ALL BE BLOODY PREGNANT VERY SOON AND BE GRADUATING TO ANTE-NATAL. BEFORE APRIL MOVES OVER!!! [WINK]

Just kidding April, hope all goes well with the doctors on Thurs. Bet he tells you to call midwife

April80 · 28/09/2009 14:26

Kaylo I'm still here! So So sorry about your mc, glad your ok tho and ready to jump back on the ttc rollercoster. Not moved on to the ante-natal yet, still can't belive it! Seeing the doctor thursday, what do they do? I cant remenber what happened last time, throught i saw the midwife first

Kaylo · 28/09/2009 09:32

Where are you all?

Is anyone still TTC?
Or have you deserted me?

Kaylo · 27/09/2009 16:25

Thanks Guys!

Hollyoaks Thats exactly how I'm viewing it!! My mum recently went on holiday to Devon and wished a a special stone (I'm the whole story is better but I'm shortening it ) Anyway...she wished for dh and me to have a healthy baby, so we're thinking thats why I mc'd. We don't think it was a healthy pregnancy. The next one will stick - I'm certain, and it's not gonna take long either.

We're all gonna be graduating with BFP's onto ante-natal. At the same time. So there...

Hollyoaks · 27/09/2009 09:43

kaylo so sorry to hear your news, I really wasn't expecting that outcome. It seems cruel to say that everything happens for a reason, but maybe it means your next pg was the one that was meant to be. Good luck for next month, hope to see you on antenatal soon.

seanybosmummy · 26/09/2009 22:29

Just popped back to say hello to you all..

Oooh, DEN congratualtions - we've just traded places I think

xxx

Kaylo · 25/09/2009 20:16

Can I come back and join you please?

Miscarriage was confirmed today - I'm ok about it - I've done my crying and I'm ready to start to TTC rollercoaster again.

My stats
Kaylo - age 24, TTC#3. Cycle 1 (when I actually figure that out after this darn mc!!)

xxx

Hollyoaks · 24/09/2009 21:20

Den Does the digital test not measure from conception and the medics will date from first day of last period. If thats the case the scan and digital test would be about similar I think! Think I'll have to wait till 12 weeks and I know it won't seem really real until then.

april MN calculator says 28th for me too, midwife said 27th but didnt take into account cycle length. I'll go with midwife though as her dates earlier I would imagine you'll be under consultant care as ds came early. I've been referred for high bp towards the end of my last pg which didn't really cause any problems.

Den26 · 24/09/2009 21:20

Thanks April i'm using the old "i'm driving" line (not very imaginative!!)

I did the MN calculator and it says 16th May!! This is the first time i've actually thought about when i'm due with everything going on - how exciting!!!

Den26 · 24/09/2009 21:12

He He! Thanks hollyoaks, not much to see yet but atleast i am reassured fo rthe minute. Have another scan in 2 weeks to monitor things. Are you able to get an early scan or do you have to wait for 12 weeks? It sucks eh?! ;)

Bit confused about dates as doc worked out that i am 6 weeks, the igital test says 2-3 weeks and the nurse who scanned yest said she thinks 4.5weeks!!!! I'll go with scan for minute!! Have to get on the due date calendar!

April80 · 24/09/2009 21:12

Hollyoaks Wow! Notes already! I want some! Got a CBD in tesco today so going to use it in the morning. It's worth spending £10 when your pretty such it will be postive! Wondering if the doc's will keep closer eye on me this time as DS was 6 weeks early? Did the MN calculator and it says 28th may! How about you?
So sorry about your nephew

Kaylo Good luck for tomorrow, thinking of you

Den26 Thats fab news! So pleased for you! I know what you mean 12 week scan will take ages to come around! Cant wait!!!!

I'm off to a wedding tomorrow, its going to be so hard to hide the fact i wont be drinking! Any tips? xxx

Hollyoaks · 24/09/2009 21:01

Den26 congratulations

I'm so pleased everything went well. I'm 5 weeks today so we're very close together. You must be due around the end of May too. See you on the May antenatal. Jealous you got to see your little on so early on

Den26 · 24/09/2009 20:54

Hi All, April and Hollyoaks congratulations!!!

I thought i would update you...
Went for ultrasound scan yesterday. Staff very apologetic that they had missed the molar pregnancy and re looked at the scans. They all thought it was a 'normal miscarriage' so there was no follow-up monitoring of hormone levels. The ultrasound showed that i was pregnant again and no left over tissue was noted from previous pregnancy which is good.

They did an internal scan to make sure and all was very positive. They said i am around 4.5 weeks pregnant and no signs of molar issue which is great, i also had a negative pregnancy test around 4-5 weeks ago which they said was encouraging as hormone levels must have been very low.

They will scan me more regularly just to make sure and they reassured me that there is no more risk to this new prgnancy than any other, so fingers crossed all goes well this time.

Its nerve wracking when its so early on - 12 weeks is soooo long...
