Bubblebell1 · 12/06/2009 09:34

Morning girls!

only 1 more sleep til i can bring Reggie home

LOL

How is everyone?

lou its awful when they cant give you an explaination. i feel lucky to a degree that i already have 2 ds'. but sad that i cant add to my family without help. Im trying to keep positive. Dh's sperm test results should be back on Thurs and he is nervous too. We decided that if it shows a prob with DH then we would just leave it. I dont fancy IVF and dont think i would get it when i have 2 kids already.

joy i hope the bleeding has stopped.

seany good luck with your test. Mine isnt til 26 june. (im only on cd7) Hopefully it will make me ovulate and i will get pg and we all will get pg and everyone will be happy

Louise00 · 11/06/2009 18:40

Hi Girls.

Hope everyone is good.

Bubble it's nice to know that someone else is at stage im at with the Clomid. My situation is quite like yours. My progesterone levels are very low i think the last test showed it was 6nmol/L- fertility cons said I may ovulate one month but then don't for like 6 months or something so it's hard for me to find the right time to conceive. I also have had some abdominal surgery which may have buggered things up a bit, but like you I have not had a definate diagnosis as to why I can't get pg. The attempted a HSG to check my tubes but couldn't perform the test, 'bizzare' is what they said, so In don't even know if they're working properly. A laporoscopy is too risky to do cos of all the surgery I have had so the cons chose to start me on this. I just really hope it works. Im really glad to hear that some of the ladies are expecting-that's great news. There is hope for all of us yet though!! xx

Joy27 · 11/06/2009 17:49

Congrats suzi- so pleased for you.
If you've skimmed over thread you'll have seen that I got a BFP too. It happened for me too when I forgot about ttc for a few weeks. Weird.

Had a horrible morning this morning, as I started bleeding. Thankfully all seems to be OK, though I am a week behind the mw's estimate- so I'm just 6w and due in early Feb.

bubble glad to hear the clomid is treating you ok.

Hope all are OK.

seanybosmummy · 11/06/2009 09:28

The not thinking about it obv worked suzi, we should all take a leaf out of your book! Good luck with your scan on tuesday, and def please do stick about and let us know how you and your lovely sticky bean are getting on xx

bubble the ewcm and pains are a great sign
when do you get your 21 day test? I have mine tomorrow arrrggghhh!! Wonder how long ill have to wait on the results?

Bubblebell1 · 11/06/2009 08:14

Morning girls!

how are you today?

louise this is my first cycle on clomid too.(50mg) Today i take my last tablet and have to then hope that i ov this cycle. I was refered because im not ovulating regularly but i havnt had a diagnosis as to why its not happening.
Thankfully im not having any major symptoms. the odd pain low down in my pelvis and loads of ewcm. (which cant be bad.) I keep having moments where i think its not working but obviously it wont be til later in the cycle that i know if its worked or not. I will have a day 21 test to see if the 50mg is enough and if not then next cycle i will have the dose increased to 100mg.

good luck

Louise00 · 10/06/2009 19:06

Bubble i didn't know you were on Clomid. How long have you been taking it for? Is it the 50mg or 100mg? Hope you don't mind me asking but my cons put me on it this is my second day, first cycle on it. Have you been ok on it?

Bubblebell1 · 10/06/2009 18:35

suzi touch wood i dont seem to have the mood swings. i feel quite happy.( Altho it mite be because im sooooooo excited about gettin my new puppy on sat), I get the odd twang down below and have loads of ewcm tmi sorry. only got 1 more tablet let and then i have to wait and see. Bubblebell1 · 10/06/2009 11:04

Hi girls!

joy so sorry you have sickness. I heard that sickness is a good thing as it means the hormones are racing thru your body. keep positive. i know this is your sticky bean and i wanna hear all the details from now til its here and beyond

fingers crossed re the clomid. something has got to work or i will end up with a zoo.

kay sorry your feeling low. a month off seems like it would do the trick. enjoy your holidays and make the most of the chilled out time.

Seany my DH says exactly the same. your right tho... your all great girls

Kaylo · 10/06/2009 10:55

Hi Joy, sorry to hear you have pg sickness - thankfully it doesn't last long

I agree with you about testing early but it's so hard when you're late and trying not to test.

xxx

Joy27 · 10/06/2009 10:45

Hey all,

Welcome to the new ladies.

seany thanks for asking after me. Am 7w today and so far (touch wood) all seems to be well. Actually, feel sick as a dog today for the first time. But I was so worried about my lack of symptoms that I am quite pleased about it.

bubble I hope the clomid works out for you. As you know, I can totally understand the end-of-tether feelings you're having. I really hope the clomid does the job. I hear it has a good success rate.

Can I offer a bit of unsolicited advice about early testing to anyone tempted by the first response? I have found it to be such an agonisingly slow wait to get through the first trimester, I'm really glad I didn't find out I was pg until I was 5w 2d. The last week and a half has been anxious and interminable- and if I'd known any earlier the wait would just be longer. So my personal advice would be that it's far kinder to yourself to wait until you are seriously late.

Love to all. How is everyone?

Kaylo · 10/06/2009 10:14

Hi Girls - How is everyone?

Big wave to louise and gem Welcome to the thread.

Sorry I ain't been on in a while I had a bit of meltdown at work and was ordered to the docs and as a result have been signed off work for a month!!! They tell me I'm depressed although I feel ok, just a bit stressed.

Definitely grateful for the time off tho - gonna help me get some things sorted with prep for holiday which is looming and coming quickly. I've done no shopping for it yet so I'll do that today otherwise we'll have no holiday clothes, or food to eat.

Aaaaah well, sorry for the me post. Just needed to get it off my chest - maybe a baby will cheer me up?
Oh...about that...dh has said he still isn't gonna try for a baby until September (although I've warned him not to buy anymore youknowwhats - and so far he hasn't). I think he's scared at the moment that he's gonna tip me over the edge if we argue bless him.

Gonna go now - need to shop!!!

Take care ladies xxxxx
