Hello, I'm still here!

Kaylo- yes it will be great when you can start in earnest in September. Less than 2 months away now, hurrah!

Whitty- congrats on your new pup.

Bubble- can't recall if I already said that I'm really sorry the clomid didn't work How are you doing now?

Ant- sorry too about your BFN. Still no sign of AF?

As for me, everything seems to be going as it should be, nothing to report but no mad panics either. Am 9w 4d and getting less anxious, finally. Have got my sights on 12w and the scan... really hope this bean stays sticky...

Hope everyone else is doing OK. Positive thinking ladies....

Kaylo · 06/07/2009 16:55

Hey-ho peeps, very quiet lately

Whitty I don't feel too bad these days...good days and bad days - today a very good day
TBH, I think as September approaches I get better and better - shallow I know, not to mention a tad selfish . Can't wait til September so we can actively start TTC. It's gonna be a happy time

Hows you hun? How's everything these days?

Well all you other guys must have very exciting lives I must say. I miss you all tho...I'm not at work and don't have much to do and I miss yooooouuuuuu!!!
But hope you're well
xxx

whittywantababy6 · 06/07/2009 12:47

Kaylo · 06/07/2009 10:46

Whitty? Is it really you?

Welcome back - hope you're well and congrats on WhittyK9

Rach Cowbag isn't the word for that woman. How dare she be so presumptuous!! Grrrr. I may very well give someone like that a piece of my mind (and the table) if they said that to me!

Hope everyone is well

Kaylo · 04/07/2009 22:35

Hi Rach, welcome back. I hope you're feeling better and you gave that woman the 'what for'!! Terminations indeed (sorry...was reading other thread) I'd have slapped her with something heavy if I were you!!

Seany - hope you're ok, any ideas what's happening yet? It seems so weird for you to be so late with no BFP???

Hoping everyone is fine and dandy!! xxx

rachxx · 04/07/2009 22:01

Heya evreyone, anyone got any GOOD news, I have just got out of hospital, and am feelig like I have little faith at the moment, and would love to hear any good news from you lot, lol.

Seany-How frustrating and annoying, its really unfair, and I hope it gets sorted out for you soon, x

Meanbeansmum · 04/07/2009 10:16

Morning girls!

Seany, so sorry that you are in limbo, annovulatory cycles are cruel.
Bubblebell, so sorry that clomid didn';t work. My friend went through 5 months of clomid and then she conceived her little boy. One ogf my other friends had clomid twins and is on her second clomid pg, keep the faith, it will be worth it.

CD26 here, last month af arrived on cd 29, I think it may be cd30 this month. No chance though, no babydancing between cd's 10 and 16. I blame work patterns lol.

I am looking forward to next month.

Bubblebell1 · 04/07/2009 09:39

Hi seany
so sorry AF hasnt shown again.. unfortunatly its an indication that you havnt ovulated which u knew already from the blood test on day 21.

my gp described irregular periods as this..... estrogen is the dominant hormone during the first part of your cycle and it prepares the womb lining. at the point of ovulation progesterone takes over and maintains the womb lining.. if no ovulation occurs then the estrogen continues to thicken the womb lining until it cant maintain it any longer. causing a bleed.... this is not a period merely our body not managing to mantain the thick womb lining and we often think its our period.

Have you had any of your tests done yet? u need to go armed with info on assisted fertility etc and get your gp to pull his bloody finger out... if he went any slower u would b moving backwards.
I feel so frustrated for you... u should be getting help.. tis not fair.

xxx

Bubblebell1 · 04/07/2009 08:53

Hi girls!

ant im sorry it was a BFN i hope you get some answers soon. As for drowning your sorrows.... I would !!!

Hi and welcome to meanbean good luck on this ttc rollercoaster.

How is everyone else?

Im ok. Pissed that the clomid didnt work and that i have to take it again. Dreading the side effects... will end up with a divorce not a baby!!!

Meanbeansmum · 03/07/2009 22:48

Ant sorry about the BFN, I tested -ve with ds2 on cd 34 and then had a bleed and had a bfp on cd 36.....you never know, good luck.x

Meanbeansmum · 03/07/2009 22:47

Joy, 2-3 times a day was what was needed for ds2 lol. Although on average....this month according to my chart I've managed 14 times, we missed ovulation though lol. Always next month.

Good luck to all those undergoing treatment and to all those waiting to POAS.

Kaylo · 03/07/2009 22:21

Hi Ant, I'm so sorry about your BFN!! Are you ok? You're still late tho aren't you? What do u think, just a long cycle? Has AF even hinted her arrival yet? Wish I could give you better advice hun - I know how disappointing and often devastating it can be to have a little bit hope evaporate in front of you.
I'm also sorry that I haven't had much of a chance to come online today - DS's 3rd birthday and we've been out visiting family who couldn't come visit him.

Heres looking forward to next month with lots BD'ing and positivity (in every sense of the word! ) - because if nothing else we have to stay optimistic. Oooooh, I wish I had some pom poms!!

"Zero, One, Two, Three
What do we want...a BFP!!
Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten
If it's not a BFP we'll try again!!
Wooooooo - go team!!"

Hows everyone else, it's sounding like an empty sports hall in here.

Wherever you are - I hope you're having fun and are all well

Antdamm · 03/07/2009 20:16

Echo echo echo

just aswell it wasnt a BFP then, where is everyone.

Someone come tell me something reassuring....

Antdamm · 03/07/2009 17:07

BFN

Do you think it will be okay for me to drown my sorrows tonight??

Joy27 · 03/07/2009 15:17

Welcome meanbeansmum. Blimey, at first I read that to mean you were ttc 2-3 times a night! (breaks out in cold sweat).

Good luck!

Meanbeansmum · 03/07/2009 14:24

Hi, I'm 28 mum of 3, ttc number 4. Not expecting anything soon as breastfeeding (although just 2 or three times a night, 17 month old) but a suprise would be lovely.

On cd 26 ish lol.

Antdamm · 03/07/2009 11:11

Joy - I never told anyone til I was about 16wks including the doctor!! I was very busy with Uni and hadn't registered with new Docs after moving to DP's village 6 months previous.(Definitely would not be able to manage that again)
The only person who guessed was DP's dad and this was because I was SO interested in what DP looked like as a baby in all his pictures.

Joy27 · 03/07/2009 10:40

Oh ant keep us posted!

I have told most of my immediate family. Couldn't keep a secret like that from my mum or dad, and my sister guessed! Will tell my big bro when I see him next week (he lives elsewhere). Telling DP's family this weekend. Then everyone else will find out after 12 weeks (three weeks away). I can't wait til everyone knows, but given previous mc I'm wary about telling the world. Time is crawling...

Antdamm · 03/07/2009 10:12

I'm too much of a wimp. Haven't tested yet. Haven't even got any tests in.

Am waiting on landlady coming round to measure up for new fridge - as of last week fridge is kaput - heating up stuff (yuk) rather than keeping it cool. Loads of salad items have gone off cos they weren't eaten fast enough and have discovered that my milk is lumpy (heave)

Have had strange feelings in my lower abdomen type area, and this morning I was up at 5:30 after going to bed at 1 and I couldn't sleep - but i DO suspect that this is because of the heat and nothing else.

So, after landlady comes up I will pop into town with DS and buy test (mind you tey only have cheeeeeeap ones from the 2euro store (poundshop) so I guess they will have to do.

Will that keep everyone happy?

Suzi - glad to hear that you are feeling okay and are working through it.

Joy - when are you telling your family then? Got a special occasion set up around it?

How is everyone else?

SuziBhoy · 02/07/2009 14:08

thanks everyone for being so kind!!

I am actually feeling okay!! Been keeping myself busy at work even though my dp thinks im crazy to even be working atm! It seems to help with getting back to normality. Ha i actually got a letter through today with my appointment date for the fertility clinic which i was organising before i fell pg, so might just attend and see what they say.

ant (suzi chants) test test test test test no pressure

how is everyone? x

Joy27 · 02/07/2009 10:51

So, Ant- you are late, and you had a short bleed when your period was due? I say do a test- the signs are good. I had a 1-2 day bleed (much lighter than normal) when af due in May, and turns out it was implantation. Do it! Then at least you'll know.

bubble I'm sorry to read about your disappointing test results. Hope you are feeling ok.

suzi how are you doing today?
