Symptom spotting!

We all do it, I have even in the past googled everything possible to see if it is a sign of pregnancy, even sore bum cheek (which turned out ot be sciatica which is not a symptom).

Anyone got any unusual things they have spotted whilst ttc.

My latest shot in the dark was thrush, which apparently can be a sign so anything goes.

I was going to make this a step away from symptom sppotting thread, but I thought that was asking too much .

I never temped - just liked using Fertility Friend as a diary

Remembered another symptom - absence of the irritable / weepy / angry / irrational / throwing things PMT monster - I was in a fabulous mood in the run-up to AF - in hindsight, a dead giveaway

LaDiDaDi · 16/04/2009 20:59

I'm struggling to control my symptom spotting at the moment. Can't decide if I think I'm pregnant or if AF is just about to start.

Spreadsheet, sounds like a good idea, however I think I would have struggled to keep it going for this long.

Veiny breasts, but they have been proded and poked this morning so probably due to that....

Tough I am having it as a symptom!

LOL jools and mermaid

monkeybumsmum · 16/04/2009 15:16

Pinkjenny - fab
I used to do a similar thing with lots of little codes in my diary but have now give up as was driving myself crazy

Erm. The only different thing I can think of is that loud bangs make me panic when I'm pregnant. Even from a few DPO. Don't know why

mermaidspurse · 16/04/2009 15:15

well jools I set my stop watch to see how long you would be

Pinkjenny · 16/04/2009 15:14

I would do that, but temping seems like too much of a chore, tbh. I love my spreadsheet. Although I'm not sure I will love it as much if it ends up going into months and months. I'm only on cycle 2 and already it feels like forever.

Joolsiam · 16/04/2009 15:13

Spreadsheets are good

I used Fertility Friend and plotted it all online - much geekier

Schlumpf · 16/04/2009 15:10

here's a weird one: smelling of cream cheese and metal! Either that was some strange infection, or something's going on...

Pinkjenny · 16/04/2009 15:06

Gawd, my spreadsheet was a thread killer!

Pinkjenny · 16/04/2009 13:20

I have started (I am very obsessive though) a spreadsheet on which I detail all my symptoms, and on which CD they occurred. So I know that on this day last cycle I experienced mild cramping from 6 dpo, but was not pregnant. It stops me from getting too far ahead of myself.

Josie22 · 16/04/2009 13:19

Symptom spotting is addictive plus you can pretty much google any symptom and it will come up as possibly meaning you're pregnant.

Mine this month were:

Light cramping from about 5dpo.
Thrush
Spotty chin (my sis told me this one - I don't usually get them!)
Needing to wee constantly

Anyway, despite deluding myself for over a week that this month I might just be, AF turned up yesterday . Am determined not to do any more obsessive checking but its easier said than done!

Never heard the restless legs one though. I wonder why that happens?

nunnie · 16/04/2009 13:18

I only have thrush .

Tireder than a tired thing on a tired day so no chance of insomnia, out before my head hits the pillow (usually on the sofa).
No CM, No dreams, no teeth (well I have teeth no problems I mean).

For me,earliest symptoms are

Thrush
Vivid dreams
Raging insomnia
Creamy CM
Sensitive teeth

mermaidspurse · 16/04/2009 12:08
