is fed up with seeing babies everywhere

OP posts:
Thandeka · 09/06/2009 17:58

Thandeka is grateful to Ray81 for reminding her of this as otherwise Thandeka was going too far down the "Is going to be fine" road and we all know how much of a bump that can be when you come off it. Now safely back onto the "what will be will be and we'll see road" which is a much safer place to be. But trying to steer clear of the doom and gloom "it'll never work for me" road as that road contains pointless panic at this stage!

Thandeka is about to have a full body massage (antenatal safe) and is going to try not to vomit her carrot and coriander soup all over her masseuse!

ray81 · 09/06/2009 17:18

Thandeka congrats thats great news, i for one think you should stay here.

i realy dont want to alarm you but i was being sick right up until i had the erpc with my mmc 3 weeks ago and i was sure s i was being sick nothing could be wrong. please please dont read too much into anything just take it as it comes, i know thats so hard as i have had 4 mc and know i will be an emotional wreck if i fall again but have promised myself i will NOT get my hopes up until that baby is in my arms. i realy wish you all the best and so hope this works out for you

Thandeka · 09/06/2009 15:59

Thandeka tiptoes on to say she threw up her breakfast this morning (never vommed in MMC pregnancy) and blood test results show HCG is doubling normally.

Thandeka · 09/06/2009 08:01

Thandeka is off for her bloodtests today to check they have doubled as expected. The fact she nearly vommed last night when DH reeled of a list of foods such as breadsticks and hoummous (which I love normally) is hopefully a good sign? I never felt this bad in the MMC pregnancy.

Thandeka also feels she should maybe disappear from this thread if people want it to stay a TTC one, but she does value its support while still in the MC danger zone and under investigation from the hospital. But promises faithfully not to write silly insensitive posts (on here and in RL FB) if this one works out this time as she knows how evil it is to read such posts. So is it okay if I still hang here for a little while?

Tigresswoods · 09/06/2009 07:17

Tigress has "booked" her husband for a few days over the coming weekend. Lets make a baby for next March! Eyes on the prize!

Ray doesnt give a shit if you can now feel your baby moving. she should be feeling that now but she isnt so just fuck off and stop telling me about your pg I DONT WANT TO KNOW.

secretly excited for lissielou Ohhhhhhhhhhh so hope it is your month

paddington21 · 08/06/2009 21:28

lissielou- fingers crossed for you and your jam tart eating coffee throwing upness!

Thandeka- how are you doing?

paddington21 · 08/06/2009 21:27

paddington is trying to work out what maternity pay and other money she would get and has given up as she is doubting one it will even happen and two its darn complicated!

paddington is just wondering when it will happen.

glastochick · 08/06/2009 15:40

Glasto wants to rewind marriage back to before wanting babies, and rekindle sex life.

Glasto wants a fully operational DH.

Glasto is going to continue de-friending her FB friend list everytime some ungrateful cow moans about being fat, suffering from morning sickness, being pregnant with a 14 month old and not knowing how it happened etc.

Glasto wants to eat cake and not worry about expanding waistline.

Glasto isn't pregnant, just fat, you inconsiderate feckers!

OracleInaCoracle · 08/06/2009 10:15

lol lissie is very grateful to thandeka for all her kind words, off to eat jam tarts now!

Thandeka · 08/06/2009 10:09

Well you see cafedirect also contains the magic feelgood ingredient too so vomiting with that for anything other than "upthedufferness" is highly unlikely. So fingers firmly firmly crossed. When can you test.......?

Thandeka is secretly very very excited for Lissielou (to the extent she nearly fell off her sofa this morning when she read the post!) but trying not to show it because we all hate false hope.

OracleInaCoracle · 08/06/2009 09:55

lol, no nestle products in the lissie house. purged when i became a fully fledged mner twas cafe direct.

Thandeka · 08/06/2009 09:53

Thandeka needs to know whether it was nescafe in which case the vomit could have been a physical manifestation of the disgust at Nestle's babymilk policies. But any other brand and I am very very hopeful for Lisslielou!

OracleInaCoracle · 08/06/2009 08:58

lissie had a bit of cramping yesterday, so got all upset and told dh that her period was on its way, but has just thrown up a cup of coffee... oooh...

Thandeka · 07/06/2009 20:36

Thanks Lissie that means alot (and thanks Paddington21 and MaisieBoo too).

Thandeka would be completely lost without the support of the wonderful mumsnetters.

OracleInaCoracle · 07/06/2009 20:28

that all sounds v good. when i had my scan with ep at 5w they couldn't see a blardy thing. i know how scary it is, but keeping evrything crossed!

Thandeka · 07/06/2009 20:25

continuous pain in left hand side not horrendous pain but enough to stop me sleeping and a tiny bit of spotting (LHS pain is usual for me and previous investigations yielded nothing but this was worse than normal so though better get it checked out especially because of the spotting- which went away but has now possibly come back . Scan revealed sac in right place (phew and oops should have put that in previous post) and inconclusive fetal pole- possibly 4mm (which if it is is better than I got last time) No heartbeat but thats because at 5weeks 3 days is way too early! Bloods were HCG 7000 and being repeated tuesday at 11am. Am signed off work for the time being. (full boring post about the adventure is at the bottom of the 4 weeks and bricking it thread).

OracleInaCoracle · 07/06/2009 20:17

thandeka, omg! what were the symtoms? when is your repeat blood test?

paddington21 · 07/06/2009 19:56

Oh hun ((lots of hugs)) fingers crossed for tues. Hopefully all will be ok. let us know xxx

MaisieBoo · 07/06/2009 18:36

Read earlier that you'd gone to A&E, glad to hear you're home now. Get plenty of rest, be thinking of you on Tuesday

Thandeka · 07/06/2009 18:27

Thandeka spent the day in A&E with a suspected ectopic. Since they let her home again it probably isn't but now the shitting herself until her repeat scan in 10 days and praying her HCG has gone up by Tuesday.

paddington21 · 06/06/2009 19:19

paddington is thinking about writing a list of everything she wants to buy ( i keep seeing things that i think are a good idea but im sure i wont remember them) for when she one day gets herself a bubba.

does anyone think this is a good idea? or am i tempting fate?

paddington21 · 06/06/2009 19:16

Aw hun... got my fingers crossed for you! 44 cycles- my oh my thats a lot of bedding! x

OracleInaCoracle · 06/06/2009 17:45

actually, nope, this is our 44th cycle.

OracleInaCoracle · 06/06/2009 17:40

lissie is starving please let this be a sign. worked out that this is our 42nd ttc cycle.
