Hehe - Monkey - I am trying to be as fit as some of the other girls who go to the gym classes, but have a long way to go I usually go 5 days per week - on 4 of those days, I do two classes back to back, so am there for either 1.5 or 2 hours. On the Wed, I just do one spinning class for an hour.

Have just worked out that I've done 19 classes in the last 11 days, as there were extra ones on at Easter Hopefully it will all stand me in good stead for this pregnancy and maybe the weight loss will continue (slowly) if I keep exercising ...

SabsBigPants · 14/04/2009 21:02

MSL sometimes military is the way to go with these things!

monkey i was extremely tired and contstantly nauseous (sp?) the first 12 weeks, but the last few weeks have been good, getting my energy levels back and even at times (whispers) getting intimate with DH after depriving him for so long, lol! Sending some baby dust your way!

Molliemooma · 14/04/2009 21:00

MLS

Molliemooma · 14/04/2009 20:59

Sabs No they won't see you without a gp referral, but I like my doctor so don't mind going to see her first

monkeybumsmum · 14/04/2009 20:58

Thanks Mollie. The rice pudding sounds like a good idea I felt like a bit of a fraud the first time I made appt's with each pregnancy... I really hope it all goes well for you x

MLS LOL! Can just imagine you sat in your attic poring over strategies Hope it works! It's difficult to think of anything else though isn't it!

monkeybumsmum · 14/04/2009 20:53

Sabs 16 weeks that's fantastic! It does look quite sparkly in here with the baby dust floating around How are you feeling?

Jools You sound like you are very, very fit! How long do you normally spend at the gym each week? More importantly, how on earth do you manage to fit all that in, and still keep up with this thread?

SabsBigPants · 14/04/2009 20:52

mollie can you not self-refer at your EPAU? I was able to do that for my 7 week scan, given I was treated there last year.....hmm rice pudding, i bought some today as i havent had it for ages! Hope the rice pudding is working in calming you down...

MummyLovesSadie · 14/04/2009 20:51

Monkey I'm on my 2nd cycle since mc in Feb. Am now ttc with military style planned precision. Could almost have one of those wartime map thingies with soldiers & battleships that you move with sticks, hidden in my loft except the map would be my basal body temperature chart!

Molliemooma · 14/04/2009 20:47

Monkeysbumsmum I've just checked out some of your other posts, so sorry to see that you have had two cp's over the last few months, no wonder you are up and down, really hope you start to get some luck soon

Well I booked my GP appt today, its a week tomorrow, I will be exactly 6 wks so she'll have 2wks to sort out my scan for me. Made it all seem a bit real so have to confess I nearly hyperventilated but have calmed myself down with a big bowl of rice pudding

SabsBigPants · 14/04/2009 20:45

monkeybumsmum its so hard to keep on here, cos things change so much! someone mentioned previously having a whiteboard with updates, lol!
I'm 16 weeks....stick around and hopefully pretty soon you;ll have a BFP too, with all the good luck and baby dust thats going round!

jools just listening to your exercise regime is making my head spin.....the only exercise im doing at the moment is reaching out for the leftover easter egg!

monkeybumsmum · 14/04/2009 20:42

Jools Think I'd need to spend all day here to keep abreast of what's going on! Doesn't help that I have the crappest memory

monkeybumsmum · 14/04/2009 20:39

Oooh it's nice to have lots of hello's

Hi mollie! Doing ok-ish I suppose, thanks! You know...bit up, bit down... How are you? I have been trying to keep up with what's going on, but there is sooo much info that I can't remember it all

Hi Sabs and Kate - I'm presuming and hoping that having big pants Sabs means that you have a bump to put in them How many weeks are you?

MLS Hello! Yes, still ttc... And you?

Joolsiam · 14/04/2009 20:37

Back from gym and have consumed left over Chinese and chocolate

Barbie - I do Body Balance on Mondays (when it isn't cancelled for Bank Hols

I've been going a bit nuts with the exercise in the last couple of weeks and I'm sure it is because I know I will need to slow down soon.

Today was fine - Body Pump, which is toning with weights and Body Attack - high impact aerobics but I found it reasonably OK - no worse than usual anyway !!

I usually do 2 Body Pump, 1 Body Attack, 1 Spinning, 1 Legs Bums Tums, 2 Body Combat and 1 Dance Aerobics class over the course of an average week No pool at my gym, but I will certainly be moving on to Aqua and more Pilates if this pregnancy actually progresses

Thinking back, I've only had one day off the gym in the past fortnight, and have done a total of ten classes in the past 5 days !

Hi Monkeybumsbum I'm only keeping up because I couldn't get motivated at work today and spent all day surfing

MummyLovesSadie · 14/04/2009 20:26

Monkey I remember you, are you still ttc?

SabsBigPants · 14/04/2009 20:25

mermaid HR suggested mediation when i got back but I have yet to decide on whether to make a formal complaint. Need to get further advice. The senior manager I spoke to did say he would try his best so that I wouldnt have to work with those managers, but I do enjoy the work I do, and it wasnt the work that was stressing me out...it was the lack of respect and being undermined and spoken to in such a bad way in front of my other colleagues that I was most upset about - especially as last month I had my appraisal which was outstanding and then a few weeks later, my managers bitching to other managers who would listen about how I'm not doing my work! My actual work speaks for itself so i wasnt too worried about that. She has also a lot of times made comments, to me and other people, about the fact that I dont drink and dont go to pub and bars, which other collegues dont have a problem at all with.
Sorry i'll stop ranting

I know ive said it before but i'll say it again - i'm not leaving this cave - unless i get chucked out!

monkeybumsmum nice to hear from you! Hope all is going well for you...

doozerhead whenever i post on here, i write first of all on a notepad on the laptop and then paste it on! Dont want to offend any1 but not including them in my posts!

Molliemooma · 14/04/2009 20:24
