LBM you are on cd 6, yay 1 day closer to ov!

I'll get the pink cowboy hats.

littlebellsmum · 17/04/2009 20:32

MLS - excessive tiredness, sounds like a non symptom to me, especially as you are on the 2ww

Neeko - your head is now truely messed with, lovely lady!

Babyincorner - not being good at the abbreviations, I think I'm now cd5 ( af started on Sunday)

I've really got to go - getting some serious abuse from dh about mm and need to save some time for Kates Hen party. It's years since I've been to one and so, I'm looking forward to it.

Should we get some pink T-shirts made up?

Going to get the cava out now...

mermaidspurse · 17/04/2009 18:01

I am so proud I made it nearly a whole day
It's the weekend the sun is shinning in Cornwall, I have a nice bottle of red(already opened) practising for kates virtual hen nite of course.
So you all have a spot on weekend, I will cross fingers for neeko mls and tell all tubby and soon to be tubbies to take it easy.

Hi. Thanks for all your lovely messages. I'm going to try and wean myself off MN for a few hours days because while I REALLY appreciate the suport from you all, I think I may be using you to feed my obsession!I'll check in at some point over the weekend and will definitely update you if I have any news. Hope you all have a great weekend.Take care.
P.S. Excessive tiredness MLS???

MummyLovesSadie · 17/04/2009 13:48

Hey check this out. It's an online pregnancy test, you answer some questions & it tells you if you are likely to be pregnant or not. Its probably rubbish but a great way to while away 2 minutes!

VJaybigpants · 17/04/2009 13:31

jools the sickness sounds good, and the house stinking, all good too, all positive signs

blue would love to have a sneaky cuppa with you

mls go and catch some zzzzzzzzz's and hope you feel better later x

bluesatinsash · 17/04/2009 13:17

yay! (?) re: sickness kicking in Jools - get those ginger biscuits out!

  • water theory could be right as I force 2 litres down me every day even if it kills me .

right lunch over, back to work...

Joolsiam · 17/04/2009 13:09

Blue - not only the broodiness going up a notch, but I've been seasick all morning, think my boobs are finally about to grow into their C cup and the entire house stinks, especially the fridge !

I can't believe I was talking about no symptoms yesterday and today I'm scared to leave the house cos I feel so sick - karma I think

MLS - sounds like you need a very relaxing weekend to recover

Monkey - yes, I'd read elsewhere about upping water intake and had to do it anyway for the diet I am on (2.5 litres minimum per day) I am certain that helped

bluesatinsash · 17/04/2009 13:05

Afternoon ladies, its Friday .

Hi monkeybum I've never had spotting mid-cycle so not sure... Your DS is gorgeous by the way, love that photo of him victorious at pooh sticks

Baby - my first AF after 'natural' mc last Sept was very heavy and long (18 bloody days) and I do think it was due to not having had ERPC think my womb was all over the place. Fingers crossed it will settle for next month (or not if you play your cards right .

oooh neeko - my fingers and everything else is crossed...

anniecam - doubly at your (.)(.) size - double DD to E!! I'm lucky if I fill a 'B' cup and only went up to 'C' with DS even whilst breastfeeding - harrumph!

Jools lovely to hear your broodiness is going up a notch .

Gracie - good luck tomorrow! Let the force be with you .

Vjay - will let you know when we plan to come up your way, I could sneek off for a wee cuppa with you!

MLS - sorry to hear your under the weather, another early night for you OK?

Well I'm a whole 4 weeks today - big wows. Only 36 to go - aaaargh! Oh and I've got my outfit ready for Kate's hen do - I'll be designated driver .

MummyLovesSadie · 17/04/2009 12:48

Hello lovely ladies! I've been lurking & reading every day but tbh have been totally wiped out & too tired to try & keep up what is being said by who! I don't know if its Easter catching up with me or what but this last couple of days I've barely been able to keep my eyes open, I've been going to bed at 9.30 & even had a sleep when dd had her nap yesterday.

Neeko an opk does detect the same hormone as a hpt, some people even use opk's instead of hpt's. Once you have had a positive opk you can continue to get a positive result for up to 5 days afterwards. However when you get your first positive STOP TESTING!!!! It will fk with your head otherwise! I'm with GG & think you should bd just in case.

Jools one of my pg symptoms I had with both pg's was chronic headaches in the first few weeks. I don't usually suffer from them but these ones were so debilitating all I could do was lie down & sleep until they went away. I used to use Neurofen cool head strips which helped.

Monkey since having dd I always get several days of spotting from around day 20, even when I was pg in Jan I had that.

Bakingqueen are you feeling any better today?

GG good luck for tomorrow. Are you going to greet dh at the door in a neglegee with a pair of those black high-heeled fluffy slippers?!

Babyinacorner acupuncture doesn't hurt at all, in fact its so relaxing I fell half asleep & had a weird out of body experience & thought I was in a hole in the ground & could see lots of long grass & flowers blowing in the breeze! If I get a bfn this month I'm going back for more.

Big waves to everyone else I've not mentioned, sorry I'm not on the ball today. I'm off to find some match-sticks for my eyes!

monkeybumsmum · 17/04/2009 11:19

Morning all!

Neeko Gosh, it does sound very confusing , but I really hope that you are pg! Did you do any bd'ing before last week?

Baby Is this your first AF since your mc? I've heard that sometimes the AF immediately after having a mc can be heavy and painful. Maybe it's your body trying to get itself sorted out Hope you're okay.

Jools Your headache sounds like it was a bad one, poor you. Glad to hear it's better though. Are you drinking enough? Was it you who said that you put your BFP down to drinking more? I read that and have been trying to increase uptake since then

Can't be long as gardener about to come round to talk about a path, and it's raining so must go and wrap up... I do have a question for you all though - think am in the middle of my cycle at the mo, but not sure due to CP last month. Have noticed a bit of spotting today -don't normally get it so am bit worried. Has anyone else had this around time of OV? Idea's on a postcard please

Hi to all xxx

ps anniecam thanks re ds He turned two in Feb, but is a tall boy for his age. Your little one is three is he? Like Blue I love that name too! Is gorgeous!

anniecam38 · 17/04/2009 11:13

Morning ladies, im off work today so at least i,ll have chance to keep up on news

BakingQueen-hope the Lemsip worked and you're not feeling too ill today.
Blue-ive gone from a DD to an E in only 3 weeks, hope they dont grow at that rate for the following weeks, i,ll need scaffolding to keep them up
Gracie=Make sure you try and get some sleep in so you can fit a bit of BD in, i find 'spoons' nice if you feel like a bit of sleepy type bd.
Neeko-Hmm, symptoms sound interesting, when i was pg with DS, id gone on a night out before i knew i was pg, id only had 3 glasses of wine (drop in the ocean for me!) but felt so hungover next day, i got BFP 3 days later. Ive browsed peeonastick.com before and it says there you can use ov sticks to detect hcg, it says line will be much darker than control line, sorry i cant do link to the site, im not clever with things like that. Did you definately ov 6 days ago? Any chance could have been sooner than that?
jools-Glad the headache as gone, ive been getting 2 or 3 a week, pain in the bum. At least you are working from home and can go and lie down if you feel rough.
Vjay- at you doing your own experimenting for neeko.

Good morning to mermaid 4ever Baby and all you other lovely ladies.

VJaybigpants · 17/04/2009 11:04

neeko it just does your head in the not knowing what the heck is going on with your body doesn't it. After my 2nd mc I did all the temping and opk's to help me work it out, I think it helped take my mind off things more though xx

Neeko · 17/04/2009 10:22

Hi Jools Thanks for concern but it's been more than 3 weeks since I had a +ive hpt so I know it's definitely not that. Had -ive OPKs too and had decided to wait for AF but EWCM made me test last week and got a +ive OPK. BDed like mad and then had fizzy nipples etc, etc, etc. It's just because I have no idea where I am on my cycle. I'm not usually this neurotic honestly!

VJaybigpants · 17/04/2009 10:17

oh I was neeko I knew I had some left over somewhere so I went for a rummage and found them, I than had to wait for a wee, which didn't take too long, then I peed away and got a result for you xxx You do have to be so mad to be on here

Joolsiam · 17/04/2009 10:17

oooh - getting excited for Neeko

I am losing track I'm afraid - you say you haven't had AF yet ? Have you been doing weekly PG tests so you don't confuse a new PG with an old one ???? Don't want to bring things down, but it would be awful to build up hopes and it be that

I was still getting an incredibly faint positive 6.5 weeks after my MC

fingers tightly crossed for you

Neeko · 17/04/2009 10:16

Happy shaving Gracie although I'm sure he's missed you so much that he wouldn't notice your hairy legs.

Neeko · 17/04/2009 10:13

I don't KNOOOOOW! The next week is going to be the longest of my life. I really should have waited for AF before TTC!!! Thanks for the experimenting on my behalf though -were you feeling nostalgic for peeing on sticks?
Jools Well done, brave lady!

VJaybigpants · 17/04/2009 10:11

Jes gg you'd better get yourself ready, and good luck

GracieGirl · 17/04/2009 10:10

Jools well done for telling someone in real life about your news.

Vjay - just looked at your list - I'm on CD 14 - aaarrrggghhh the pressure!! I'd better go and shave my legs ready for tomorrow when DH gets back!!
