Sorry to hear about the hives thing, bunny2. Hope it isn't getting you down too much.

bunny2 · 05/07/2003 22:03

Hi Quackers, yes I got some action, thanks for asking . Unfortunately the fertility drug seems to have sparked off a rather unfortunate reaction, every morning (well, the last 2) I wake up covered in urticaria (hives). Its ugly and itchy. I can only think the Clomid is causing it as there are no other likely suspects. Hope I strike it lucky this month as I really dont want another clomid month. How did you do?

Egypt, how's it going?

quackers · 04/07/2003 09:01

Oh forgot, Big bird - did you get your o day??

quackers · 04/07/2003 08:59

That would be wonderful. We're getting there. There were 2 or 3 graduates last month! Did you manage to see any action this time bunny2? At least you've got a good idea of your 'window' now. Although since m/c my cycle has gone all scew wiff! It's gone from ov on day 15 to 13 and now 11! Good job I've got my trusty persona to back me up!! It's only my first month of trying after m/c so I shouldn't hold out hope but wouldn't it be just the business!!!

bunny2 · 03/07/2003 22:50

Good luck this weekend Dot, you too Quackers and everybody else. Lets hope for at least one graduate this month to start the April 2004 thread.

sibble · 03/07/2003 20:27

good luck everybody

LucieB · 03/07/2003 17:10

Best of luck Dot and everyone else. Although am in early stages of pg, I am reluctant to leave this thread as its still very early days....

luchar · 03/07/2003 16:24

Good luck Dot1, hope it works this time.

dot1 · 03/07/2003 13:24

only me - wishing everyone luck and some for myself - despite dodgy heartbeats/PCOS/thyroid stuff I'm having a go this weekend! It'll be day 11 + 12, but I usually ovulate early (I think!) so should be in with a chance..!

Bayleaf - how's things with you - is it nearly time for another go? I feel like I've lost the plot a bit on this thread!

BigBird · 03/07/2003 12:48

Good luck you two and everyone else. I'm day 10 now and started temping this month and also opk'ing yesterday. bd'd last night anyway just in case but no sign of the big O yet!

quackers · 03/07/2003 08:54

Wouldn't that be cool! I'm day 14 too now. I've finished ovulating and have the long wait. I can't help but think about it constantly! I've never been so obsessed! Thanks all for understanding my jibber!!
The first 2 I was aware I was ovulating but thought that's that - we'll see and both times got pg. This time I' like a woman posessed so the chances are probably quite slim. I'll have to chill out a bit and rwlax - yeh right!! You can't help it though when you know you've done it on the right days - it's hard not to get excited!!!!

bunny2 · 03/07/2003 07:54

Hey Quackers, maybe we will get lucky at the same time . I am on day 14 now and sometihng is definately happening 'down there'. Had a bottle of wine last night and fell asleep before dh came to bed, then this morning he wouldnt wake up for a quickie . I hope this opportunity doesnt pass us by.

sibble · 03/07/2003 04:52

Made sense to me too

hewlettsdaughter · 02/07/2003 15:58

made sense to me

quackers · 02/07/2003 12:26

That was utter jiberish - apologies all!

quackers · 02/07/2003 12:25

Poor you! Maybe previous encounters will be enough? Ther's always next month as they say! Why does it take so long to get to the end of the month!! I ovulate really early - day 11/12 and it seems to take ages to get to day 27/28!! They say chill out and it will happen when you least expect it but it's really hard not to think, right this is the day, need to do it! I've been aware the last 2 times that it's the right 'time' but didn't think about it after too much. This time I'm excited and both worried that I won't be this month and have to strat again!

hewlettsdaughter · 02/07/2003 08:55

That's good news bunny2! Glad you got going too, quackers . I won't know if anything's happened this month for a couple of weeks. Feeling a bit low at the moment as I've got sore throat/tonsilitis (had it a couple of weeks ago and it's flared up again). We were meant to be baby-making last night but didn't.

quackers · 02/07/2003 08:43

Well a bottle of bubbly later, we managed to see some action
He felt a little bit false at first but bubbly does the trick! Fingers crossed.
I was loking at the odds and you only have 25% chance of getting pg by doing it in the 6 crucial days and increase that chance by pinpointing ov. I thought this would be higher! So we may be back to square one again next month. Did the sexy neglige work bunny2?? I bet you felt great getting that positive result for ov!!!
xxxx
HD how's it going??

bunny2 · 01/07/2003 20:00

V. excited, Clomid seems to have worked. I did an OPK and got a very clear positive response. Then I did another just to make sure. According to the booklet, this means I should ovulate within the next 36 hours. See ya!

bunny2 · 30/06/2003 19:46

Hi Egypt, I'm feeling better Thanks. I should be ovulating soon, presuming the Clomid worked but we are both too knackered to do the business! We move house next week and our new house is still being renovaqted - no bathroom or kitchen yet so we are dashing about like mad things trying to get that sorted. Hence no energy left by 9pm. Still, we have come this far, I cant miss out on my big chance.

Egypt · 30/06/2003 19:26

CONGRATULATIONS MOOSH!
Bunny2 - hope you are feeling a lot better soon. Just lie there and think of England! How are they keeping up to date with whether the clomid is working? are they not doing scans? i've been reading up on clomid and chatting on the femail.co.uk message board and it's also very good. please would you just go to this thread i found there?: chat.femail.co.uk/femail/threadnonInd.jsp?forum=10&thread=9586442&message=9989376
I really think you should push for some scans
Take care

LucieB · 30/06/2003 16:42

Quackers - I am ok, thanks for asking. Feel incredibly tired though...struggling with full-time work and 11 month old at the moment but am sure it will all get easier (I hope). Still very early days and still very nervous about things.
Hope you (and everyone else) has success this month.

Lexy75 · 30/06/2003 16:23

Congratulations moosh

quackers · 30/06/2003 13:43

Thanks LucieB - how's it going?

LucieB · 30/06/2003 13:40

Great to hear from you quackers - best of luck over the next few days and enjoy it!!
