Engelbart - We must have more details..........

I'm CD30! And still no AF, it's no fun when you know you're not PG. I hate all this waiting.
Just bought some Pre-Seed.... anyone else tried it?

NewMember · 31/07/2009 17:02

Fantastic news ... congrats

cyncan · 31/07/2009 14:42

cyncan · 31/07/2009 13:19

Yes, really put my hopes up with Engel's BFP too! This month though, DH and I are really not feeling it... have been fighting .

CD 20 today, no peak yet, I had to open up a new box in the middle of the cycle. But won't be bding anyway..

Horraaay for ENGEL!

salander · 31/07/2009 09:17

By the way- Kat, v nice to have a TTC twin! although not much chance this month, still on high days, still w dental abscess, managed to do the deed once and now DH has fecked off for a boys weekend no doubt over my peak days! Think will write it off and start fresh next month. Although given lots of hope by engels lovely news.

salander · 31/07/2009 08:17

Yessssss!!!! Thats brilliant, engel, so thrilled for you, congrats!!!
Aw. Thats so fab.

YEAAAY!!!! Finally one BFP!!

Vikks · 30/07/2009 21:28

Oh my god!!!!!!!! I?m so happy for you Engelbart, congratulations! x

engelbart · 30/07/2009 21:19

Thanks baby and Trixel!

I had what I thought were AF symptons (cramps) about a week before AF due but then they sort of disappeared. About a week after ovulation I had a raging thirst and was really really tired. Must admit I did do some ebay cheapy tests on Sunday (11 days post ovulation) and did get a faint line. But didn't want to believe it was a BFP until I tested with a 'proper' brand name test.

babyinacorner · 30/07/2009 20:43

Fab news Engelbart -well done.
Did you have/do you have any symptoms??

engelbart · 30/07/2009 19:28

Well did a test and it's a BFP!!

I think DH and I cutting out alcohol and caffeine plus me lying down for 30 mins after sex swung it this month.

Good luck everyone. I'll be following you all on this thread waiting for you all to get a BFP

cyncan · 30/07/2009 16:35

Hi Vikks!! That is the right attitude!! Staying positive will give us the highest chances of getting BFPs!!

Vikks · 30/07/2009 16:09

Trixel ? The lap was to see if I had any blockages, they already knew that I wasn?t ovulating. But the lap and dye showed that my tubes were all clear and healthy. So after all that, (in theory) I should be able to get PG this month. I?m still waiting on AF, can?t wait to get started on my next cycle; I feel quite positive for a change!
Thanks for telling me your story; I can?t imagine what you must have been through with your MCs. I?m sure our BFP are right around the corner. X

Engelbart ? Good luck

cyncan · 30/07/2009 14:53

hi ladies!! sorry about the non-participation!! dh and I are just having very stressful days, too much work, very frustrating and too moody to even try bding. CD19 today.. expecting peak this weekend, hopefully things will pick up and we will be getting some action!!

Engel!! All the luck to you!!!!!!! AF STAY AWAY!!!

xoxo to everyone!

Trixel · 30/07/2009 14:47

hey engel - have you bought it? have you done it?

engelbart · 30/07/2009 13:52

Hey baby, glad to hear you're feeling more relaxed! Just about to go out and buy a test, still no AF. Fingers crossed! Feel really really nervouse, dread seeing that single line (as we all know).

babyinacorner · 30/07/2009 13:46

Hi ladies, just checking in to say hello!

Am on day 4 today so the peeing on sticks will begin soon - I'm going for a different tactic this month, not going to try at all apart from the two peak days -hopefully get some bding in on the high days but not going to force it. Have also booked in for some acupuncture next monday and another reflexology session the week after.

Any news from engelbart?

Will probs go for it next month even though my due date would be about 2 weeks after my exams! Would keep my busy I suppose

Trixel · 29/07/2009 23:59

gawd, hope that wasnt too long and boring - i know some of you have heard it before - sorry!

Trixel · 29/07/2009 23:59

think i'll probably test on saturday or sunday, bigbrofan - altho i have no business doing so as i'm not due til next wednesday-ish. we have the in-laws coming for 5 nights on saturday (yikes! if i'm still sane by next thursday it'll be a miracle) and i could do with knowing if i can have a drink or not. they tend to like enormous quantities of the odd tipple...
vikks - gosh, there's a bit going on in there isnt there? did the laparoscopy show that you weren't ovulating, or was it more to see if there was a blockage? it's really good that they can see what potential problems there are and do things to sort it. unexplained infertility must be hard, as it's tricky to know what to do about it. i've not had any treatments to date. we had one DS with no probs at all in getting pregnant in 2003. caught on again relatively easily in 2005, but had to terminate at 21wks as he had fluid on his brain, lungs, heart and wouldnt have survived. then had a successful pregnancy resulting in DS2 in 2006. then got preg in 2008, evthg fine at 8wk scan but found out at 12wk scan that heart had stopped. that was march and we decided that we'd stop then, stick with what we had. but in nov thought ach to hell with it, let's try again but then had another mc in dec 08, although at just 5wks this time. we seem to have been blessed so much with our 2 scrumptious ones, but mother nature certainly is keeping us on our toes. it means you don't take anything for granted though, you know? anyway we've been trying in greater earnest since jan. and my cycle seems to have decided to throw curve balls at me, varying between 28 and 35 days, which is just typical!
we'll all get there! it'll be lovely when all our bfps start coming in, how exciting!
engel - i'm very impressed that you're not going to test til saturday, what willpower!
