evening ladies,

Been absent for a while so many congrats to the BFPs - fab to get some good news.

I've been useless at tracking my cycle, doing temps, OPKs etc this month. Have a vague idea that I'll be ovulating sometime this week so going to try and BD frantically (as often as DH's working hours will allow) and hope for the best.

leonifay - hope you've plucked up the courage to buy a test, fingers crossed for a BFP

kittykat765 · 02/05/2009 19:41

Hi leonifay
I was very amused by your latest post re your DH. Waiting for af isn't a bad idea in theory and would save women everywhere a fortune on HPT's. It's not such a great idea if you are pg though, how long are you supposed to wait for? Until a bump appears!

Hope we get some more BFP's soon, it's quite a small crowd on the January ante-natal thread.

Blocka · 02/05/2009 19:27

Thank goodness you're back - I thought you might of sloped off to the Feb bus feeling unloved!

Maybe your DH is right, sometimes patience is a virtue. But having said that, men just don't understand, do they.

You should do what you feel is right for you x

leonifay · 02/05/2009 18:38

lol, its not a problem i just thought you were going to refuse to put me on till i had taken a test! still havent bought one though i've been putting it off all day and dh just says i should wait for my af

Blocka · 02/05/2009 15:48

Oh leonfay - I kicked the wrong person off the bus!! Sorry sorry sorry sorry!!!!! I meant to take pandapop off!

You are back on with my hugest appologies and lots of luck for your test!!!

Good luck, its been emotional!

Updated for today.

Sorry leonifay , I've taken you off the bus and hopefully we'll not see you on the Feb bus (nothing personal you understand!)

Welcome earlynite no one is in charge here, we are running amok. I've added you on, though! We are very close to being cycle buddies - I presume you a the BDing stage like me - how is it going??

Blocka · 02/05/2009 08:54

kick !!! I shouldn't be tempting you really, but it would be lovely if we got a bfp today!!

leonifay · 02/05/2009 08:41

grrr, still no sign of af amd now i'm 3 days past due i havent taken a test for the last 4 days!!! i'm too scared its going to be BFN at least if i dont know i can pretend i am! (silly i know) any one fancy giving me a kick up the backside?

earlynite · 01/05/2009 21:59

Hi, Can I join you ladies?? Do I add myself to the list or is someone incharge?

earlynite TTC#2 Cycle 4 UCL 28-29 CD14

Done lots of BDing over last couple of days so hope we got it right this cycle. xxx

pandapop · 01/05/2009 20:43

Hello all, sorry for the delay. You'll have to remove me from the list. Have been away and no luck this month Congrats to all the graduates!

Blocka · 01/05/2009 19:36

Thanks donttrytis !! An interesting plan and I will certainly try it!!

Can you believe what DP did today? He rang me at work and said his sister had taken DD out for the day so could I come home for some BDing. And I did!!!!

Hobnobfanatic · 01/05/2009 19:00

Hooray - a LH surge for me, so a weekend of BDing planned!

had my test results back a few days ago - so far, everything fine and I'm ovulating okay. Have been referred to a gynae in June, and DP has his sperm analysis in July. Am hoping we get lucky before then, though. The clock is ticking!

Have a good BH weekend, everyone!

donttrythisathome · 01/05/2009 18:59

Ticky hope the doctor was able to give you good advice. i think you can get stuff to bring prog levels up.

stephiepug · 01/05/2009 16:07

hi girls, congrats to the graduates, iv had a busy week so appolgies for not being on much, im cd 15 and only bd on mon night which was cd 11 so 3 days before ov not very good,
hubby has also been sick so not much happening for me this month, and i hate this 2ww, it drives me insane!!!! sorry to vent!!
gl to all testing soon, my fingers, legs (well not litterally that wouldnt do lol!) toes are all crossed!!! xx

Pinkjenny · 01/05/2009 14:56

Blocka - We BD'd the day I got my +OPK. Agree with yumyum72! Good luck!!!

yumyum73 · 01/05/2009 14:17

Hi Blocka, I also swore i'd stay away from OPK's and then bought 3 packs (21 clear blue sticks) so i could test everyday after AF!!!!
Anyway from the freakish amount of Googling i've been doing about OPK's you are BDing at the right time but continue for the next few days as once you see an LH surge you are due to ovulate within 12-36 hours...

ccpink · 01/05/2009 13:29

I've come on and madly feel so much better for it!!!
Off to catch the feb bus.... Hoping no one else needs a seat

donttrythisathome · 01/05/2009 12:30

Blocka I found this. Might give it a try.

Last time though I oved 5 days after +ve OPK and my friend said you can have several surges in a month so they're not that reliable. Damn.

CC sounds like me last month too - I often spot beforehand. Could be implantation though for you

Good luck all the BDers and hope DD better soon dolly

Blocka · 01/05/2009 10:05

Well, it could be a good sign but the same thing happened to me last month and my AF arrived the following morning - sorry

Keep a check on it today, though - you never know!! (all fingers crossed for you so finding it diifcult to type)

ccpink · 01/05/2009 09:35

I think you keep going for a few days Blocka - but not much of an expert!
TMI ALERT: When i wiped last night there was blood so thought af coming but this morning just the same. Bit of blood in cm when wipe. Is this a freaky period? I am now cd31 and thought I'd wait til Monday for af before testing. Done two negatives last Tue and week before?!? Hate this!!!Normally I would have come on properly overnight and be full flow now? Anyone?!?!?

Blocka · 01/05/2009 09:13

I have a question - just used my digital OPK (I know, I promised I wouldn't use them this month!) - I got a smiley face which means I have a surge.

We BDed last night - does this mean I have hit the right time, or should I of been doing it for days before hand?? Is it pointless BDing after your surge??

Help!!

I've put you in the correct order Ilovedolly - hope dd chickpoxy feel better soon!

Well, we managed some BDing last night, despite having a trip to the doctors and having a gastric viral infection confirmed. Now thats commitment for you!! Not sure if being poorly will reduce my chances of falling pg - I expect it will somehow - but fingers crossed in any event.
My DP now starts a full weekend of shift work - right at my most fertile time - so I have 3 days of being woken up at midnight for a bit of nooky, its the only time we will be able to do it! How romantic.....

ILoveDolly · 30/04/2009 22:34

OK So now I know what CD is - thanks for the help! It's CD19 - umm better get on with BDing regularly so hard to motivate - dd chickenpoxy and mr dolly so tired!!
