Can I come and join you cool girls at the back of the bus? I've already got my stash of opk's, and the thermometer is on standby.
Like everyone else, I really hope this is my month, although I'm still trying to get around a 2010 due date - it sounds so futuristic!

Just adding higglepig on the list. CD os cycle day, i.e what day of your cycle are you on. We need to know this so we can all track your OV days, ask how your BD is going, and general live your cycle with you. Like our own cycle isn't enough to think about! The plus side is we can be there and offer cake when AF doesn't arrive, and champagne when it does (or is that the wrong way round?)

rtuff - who was testing you? Is this part of the conception process I am missing?

georgimama · 30/03/2009 18:34

I don't like prawns

I do like brie an awful lot though. Giving up brie and stilton was harder than giving up wine.

We are enjoying all the shagging I have to admit.

Blocka · 30/03/2009 18:26

Girls, girls, girls - lets try and make this a happy bus and think of all the positives of NOT being pg but still trying!

For example. We can still drink wine. Eat Brie. And prawns.

Oh, and do lots of BDing!!....on second thoughts, pass me the bloody chocolates....

xx

ooh sorry georgimama at least you are eating really yummy food today. that sandwich sounds amazing right now!

I have eaten a brie and bacon baguette and a bag of liquorice allsorts.

Want more food now.

hiya. mind if i come aboard? currently trying to conceive little trumpet number 2. this is the first actual month we're trying. previous months we've been "if it happens, it happens" and now we're full steam ahead with it

CD1 was 10 Feb, nothing since then, no Auntie, no BFP. Hoping to come on soon so I can hop on board as feel convinced nothing's happening to prove otherwise.

wasabipeanut · 30/03/2009 14:37

Snap Georgimama - CD1 for me today too at last after what felt like forever spotting. I'm currently working my way through a pack of Foxs party rings bought for a picnic for ds and friends 2 weeks ago

Too late to join? Think I'd be either v end of Dec or start of Jan if I make it this time round.

TTC#2 Cycle 4, UCL 32-37, (sorry to be ignorant but what's CD?)

laurielou · 30/03/2009 10:57

Morning ladies,

Sorry for those who bitch AF has visited.

Feeling down myself. Looked after friends 3 kids over weekend - tiring, expensive, noisy - FABULOUS! Then home to my tidy, quiet house, just made me feel more empty than ever. Also should've been loads of BD this weekend, which just didn't occur.

Felt nauseous this morning, but that could be the back to work & office politics shenanigans.

Sorry for the miseries!

Large helpings of babydust for all, x

Morning everyone...

Blocka and tryingfornumber2 www.babymad.com is good for cheap Ovulation Prediction Kits (and all the other paraphernalia we feel we need to buy) I've just bought 30 of them!

I had my day 3-5 bloodtest today, not actually sure what they are testing for... anyone know???

Hello ladies, shove up on the back seat MrsJM, that bitch AF got me this morning.

So far today I have eaten 2 weetabix, a banana and a Galaxy cakebar. I am going to eat and mope all day.

Thanks Blocka, its good advice not to get too hung up about things you read. Welcome along Lucky. I think the cycle numbers are just the number of cycles you've been trying to get pregnant.

LuckySalem · 29/03/2009 22:12

Would like to join in but have no idea what to add to your list I'm afraid.

I'm TTC no 2, No idea what cycle and I think I'm on CD 26 but dont know how long my cycles are as I never take notice of them.

Blocka · 29/03/2009 22:09

Never tried any of the tempreture malarky, been quite lucky that my first pg happened on the first go.

My only advice is be careful about you read! You end up scaring yourself over nothing. When I was pregnant with my dd I rang the hospital in a panic because the baby got the hiccups about 5 times a day and they lasted for ages - a book I had in the house said it could be down to the baby strangling itself with the cord!! I worried for the rest of my pg.

See what the docs say (or the other threads), but its probably nothing

donttrythisathome · 29/03/2009 21:30

Ta for updating blocka (love the name by the way - don't know why!)
Do any of you chart temperatures? I've been charting mine using a fahrenheit thermometer, and my temps are on the low side e.g. 96.5 (35.8 celsius) yesterday. The highest last month (only charted half the month) was 98 (36.6). Does anyone else have experience or knowledge of this?
I am reading Toni Weschler's book, Taking Charge of Your Fertility, and she says low temps could be a sign of hypothyroidism. Have an appointment with the nurse next week (also posted in another thread looking for views) so will see what she says, but find my GP surgery fairly crap in general to tell you the truth!
That book is fab by the way - I was such an ignoramus before reading it...still am I s'pose, but with a little more knowledge!
Sorry for boring y'all - welcome aboard to the newcomers!

Welcome aboard pandapop

I too am ttc#2, have never been on mumsnet before and had an early mc in Jan - so we are like peas in a pod! My cycle following the mc was about 6 weeks, but then I was straight back to 28 days so it should take you long. Nothing stopping you trying this month either!

Good Luck!!

pandapop · 27/03/2009 21:18

Hello! Fist time on mumsnet here, am ttc no. 2. mind if i join you? just had early mc last month but very keen to try again! although no clue what cycle length is now, feel a bit all over the place. not sure whether I should get out the ovulation packs yet...

should I be putting down a few more details?
