Hi ladies - thanks for your concern, this must be the non viper corner of MN!

I'm feeling a bit better, I'm at work today but very washed out. I don't know if this has been a bug or something I've eaten, but about once a year I do have a horrific period coupled with stomach pains, bloatiness, wind (sorry!) - you name it. So it may have been that.

MrsJM - have you hopped off the bus or are you lurking somewhere? Any news?

donttrythisathome · 02/04/2009 08:37

'm feeling positive about us all this month!
I'm off to the nurse tonight to check out my low temps and get general pre-conception advice. Thought the appointment was 7:30 this morning so trotted along, rang the bell til someone appeared only to find out its 7:30 tonight.
Yumyum dont feel guilty - we all need to vent somewhere. You are following your heart and 36 is not too old ( I hope as I'm 36 too!).
Hows Georgi and Paddington feeling now?
Wasabi and MRSJ, how are you doing?
I'm still pre-ov, but have bought my first set of OPKs and just waiting for the EWCM before I whip them out and start BDing like a mad thing. Exhausted thinking about it

Then I'll be joining you symptom spotters for a major obsession drive. Bring it on!

laurielou · 02/04/2009 08:20

Morning ladies, hope everyone is feeling OK, especially georgimama & paddington21.

Managed to avoid football & apprentice last night, & spent ages sorting out photos on the PC - whoo hoo, all rock n roll in my house.

Actually trying to do ANYTHING to avoid symptom spotting. Don't usually get hooked up on that but just feel different this month - I know that sounds crazy.

AF not even due yet, let alone late so have ages before I'm going to think about testing.

Argh!!

Hope everyone has a good day, x

sorry forgot to say I hope you're feeling better too Paddington21 (feels like sitting on a bike for to long eh... ouch!) xxx

yumyum73 · 01/04/2009 21:37

Hi Paddington21 it's actually Georgimama who's having a horrible period, I hope she feels better soon too.

I'm just having a whinge as I can't see usual signs of ovulation... grrrr!

Also relieved that i'm not as dumb as those on the Apprentice... those sandwiches looked TERRIBLE!!!!!

xxx

yumyum73 · 01/04/2009 21:31

Thanks Blocka

I feel so guilty moaning as i I already have a DS who is wonderful and has completely changed my life but I REALLY want baby no.2 so much! I can't seem to switch my brain off from over thinking about my cycle/signs of fertility and it's got to the point where BDing is a timed chore rather than a pleasure... sad or what?

Also have a feeling of panic spreading through my mind that perhaps my age (36) is going to cause problems... jeez, i'm only on cycle 2 and i can hear what a total freak i come across as

Anyway ladies thanks for putting up with my whining, i promise to get a grip

Hope you're feeling better georgimama

xxx

paddington21 · 01/04/2009 21:30

Hi all
Blocka... the apprentice sounds much better than the football that is my current background noise... DP owes me!! Thank you for my welcome!

YumYum am so sorry your having a hellish period I am too! Minus the vommiting- hope you feel better. I feel like I've been on a bike for too long!

Blocka · 01/04/2009 20:58

Oh no! Do you normally vomit when you get your period? That sounds terrible.

Put your feet up and watch the apprentice and I hope you feel better tomorrow.

georgimama · 01/04/2009 20:14

EWCM = Egg White Cervical Mucus, which apparently coincides with ovulation.

All this terminology is truly too much sometimes!

I am feeling very sorry for myself having period from hell and been up most of last night vomiting.

Yumyum73, not sure what EWCM is but not having is obviously upsetting. Have a glass of wine and tell us all about it - you have lots of friends here x

paddington21 · 01/04/2009 17:49

Hello, can I join you ladies at this stop?
TTC#1 for a year this month! Have started cycles again as now on clomid... so currently Cycle 2. D3. UCL-28-34.

yumyum73 · 01/04/2009 14:57

After stressing like a maniac last month i decided to chill out and take control of my constant obsessing but my body is making it really hard to stay calm... although I have EWCM every month without fail on day 24/25 i didn't this month and on top of that OPK's show that i have not had a LH surge either

Sorry... just needed to vent I hope everyone else is well. xxx

Hi can i jump on the bus?

Rtuff - i've had day 3 - 5 blood tests tiwce and they tend to be for PCOs

sgibbo TTC#1 cycle45 UCL 27-29 CD14

georgimama · 31/03/2009 11:19

Yes DS called me into his room at 5.45 to demonstrate that he could name the diggers, lorries, tractors and cars on his duvet cover.

I was quite impressed, especially as he got some of the colours too, but would have preferred such exhibitions of precocious behaviour at a reasonable hour, and in front of an audience.

bringonthetrumpets · 31/03/2009 11:07

haha georgimama. that's what i'm hoping for as well. who wants another baby? just need a playmate for the one you've already got

rtuff-hopefully the blood tests will reveal some clues as to what's going on soon! best of luck for you!

Rtuff · 31/03/2009 09:51

Blocka - It was the nurse at the doc's testing me, i've been trying for nearly a yyear so i've been having bloodtests to try and find out the reason why we haven't fallen preggers yet... But just not sure what they test for....

OP posts:
georgimama · 31/03/2009 09:05

I'm kind of hoping if I have another one they'll keep each other entertained. Does it not work like that? If not I'm getting off this bus now.

Blocka · 31/03/2009 07:54

Good Morning! I too was up at 5am. DD wanted to draw?!?!

And we want more?
