Morning Ladies
Hope everyone is having a good easter and enjoying the excuse to eat loads of choccie.

Ta very much!
All ths waiting is driving me bonkers.
Anyway good luck to anyone who is testing soon!

bringonthetrumpets · 13/04/2009 09:27

fingers crossed for you katlokna ! all sounds very promising and exciting! really hope to hear of a BFP for you in two weeks

so i'm on cd 28 and no af (yet). i was naughty and tested with a BFN on Friday afternoon [of course]. i think all my "symptoms" were in my head as now of course i'm feeling perfectly fine. just waiting for af to show her beautiful self.

good luck to everyone!

katlokna · 13/04/2009 08:56

Hi everyone.

Have been really excited since yesterday morning as I have been using a Clearblue Fertility Monitor for the first time this month and yesterday morning I got a 'Peak' which means will ov in next 24-36 hours apparently. Cue me practically assaulting my DH . This coincides with EWCM on saturday and sunday (sorry if TMI) and the spotting I had on saturday.

So hopefully have had a nice easter egg of my own.

Updated for today! Happy Easter everyone, and lets hope our eggs are not chocolate but fertilised this year!!!!

Higglepig · 12/04/2009 20:31

Hi Sgibbo - Just logged on. I'm so sorry about your BFN. I hope the past 24 hours haven't been too sad and that there was some good chocolate action at least. I guess just try to remember that you could well still have a lovely baby a year from now.

Pretty sure this month isn't going to be the one for me either, have been awfully teary and bloated the past couple of days which tends to be the way the week before AF. Anyway, in the meantime, I'm off to distract myself from it all with some crap telly.

ccpink · 11/04/2009 16:45

hi sgibbo - sorry to hear you bfn - eat lots of choccie to console yourself xxx

sgibbo · 11/04/2009 15:41

Hi Higglepig tested this morning and was BFN so just waiting for AF now

Higglepig · 11/04/2009 14:03

Sgibbo - sorry, been offline for a couple of days. Wasn't actually thinking of testing til next weekend (have a v long cycle). AF due Sunday but was going to do a pre-hen night test on Sat. What about you, are you testing this weekend?

donttrythisathome · 11/04/2009 11:07

CC - LOL at DH and wanting to keep his birthday to himself. I'd be like that!!

I was a bit reluctant to discuss it all in detail with DP as I didn't want to turn him off. I'm going to make sure I jump him during the rest of the month too though, although often exhausted, as I don't want the clinical timing to kill our sex life....

ccpink · 11/04/2009 10:55

marla- I agree with don'ttry just go for it today. Only god knows if you're too late but worth trying
hope - that sounds good that he understands your frustration. My dh says not sure about jan as will be similar birthday as him!!!

Marla poor you! My "bible" says feck the OPKs, just BD when you have EWCM, so if its still there and you feel ok then go for it.

CC - agree with you!! I had a good talk with DP (once I'd calmed down) and explained how much I'd been building up to ov, and think he understands better now....I hope....

Snap! I made my DP wake me up at midnight when he came in from his shift to do the deed - he said it wasn't great because we went straight into in with no foreplay (foreplay, I thought?! Must of missed that the last time.....)

donttrythisathome · 10/04/2009 12:59

Marla - a bit late for what? If ov then 10-16 days between ov and end of cycle is average - so if you ov today or tomorrow, then that would be an average cycle, not late

I had a row with DP as well last night as he's accusing me of treating him like a performing monkey. Feck orf says I to him....

Laurielou how are you getting on any news yet?

Higglepig when are you planning on testing?

donttrythisathome · 09/04/2009 15:13

Thanks Alfie!

Effie - a good doc makes all the difference. My nurse last week was lovely and helpful.

RTuff - I still have EWCM and positive OPK yesterday so will probably ov today or tomorrow. More BDing tonight then.

Maria - My advice is if you have EWCM then go for it

Blocka · 09/04/2009 13:39

Hi all and welcome Alfiesmadmother - I sat next to you on the December bus, sorry you have had to get off!

About OPKs. I bought the digital one, and to be honest, it saved alot of grief. Tested every morning from day 10 and got a smiley face on day 15 of a 28 cycle. It was expensive (£17), but worth the money, I thought.

My last set of hpg tests I got from ebay, about £5 incl delivery for 10 - and they are extra extra sensitve. Fingers crossed I (and all of you!) will get a return this month!

alfiesmadmother · 09/04/2009 11:47

It sounds complicated to me, but have oredered some clear blue strips from ebay! Oh have fun tonight Rtuff and donttrythisathome
