donttrythisathome · 14/04/2009 19:58

Welcome all the newcomers.

Wow, its exciting, this thread is really hotting up now!!

I imagined "symptoms" over the wknd, but all in my head I think.

My temperature hasn't gone up, even though I had all the other ov symptoms, so a bit worried I didn't ov at all.

Went to the nurse for day 21 tests anyway today, so should know on Thursday if hormone probs.

Step away from the pg tests girls - really excited for you all!!!

gemstones · 14/04/2009 19:41

Hi BLOCKA, Yep agree with Islegrin, test Friday. If you get BFN You can always test again wen you come bk.
I think im going to test Sun, got a party sat nite dont think i'll drink just in case.

If you do test Fri, keep us posted if you get time. Really wishing you loads of luck. i wont b far behind you

islegrin · 14/04/2009 19:19

Postcard on a coconut shell from Hawaii says:

Dear Blocka,

I'd say B - test of Friday then go have fun with the hens!

Aloha & wish you were here!
isle

Blocka · 14/04/2009 18:51

What about you, gemstones, when were you thinking of testing??

Blocka · 14/04/2009 18:51

Hi gemstones. Bit of dilemma about testing. I am at a hen weekend this weekend, and AF not due til Monday.

Do I:
a) completely forget about the possibility I might be PG and get very drunk with my friends and test on Monday
b) Test on Friday, risk a BFN, but will get drunk with no guilt
c) Not drink all weekend and test on Monday (this one is virtually impossible.....)

Answers on a postcard please!

seanbosmummy to explain the (3-48 cycles) DH and I have been trying ever since an ectopic pregnancy 4 yrs ago. However, we were trying naturally, some months with OPK's and charting and never had any fertility treatment. (little did we know I only have one tube open due to the ectopic - somehow they forgot to mention that to us!) This is our third cycle with IUI so it all seems new again.

Here's to Jan 2010!

Kay4MattTTC · 14/04/2009 15:14

i dont really do back sack and crack waxes think DP would get a tad . lol.

i want to own my own salon. so then when i get PG i can finish and go back to work when i am ready.

gemstones · 14/04/2009 15:03

Thats good, ive always fancied doing that myself-dont think i could manage doing too many back sack and cracks tho

At least when you do get preggers its something you can do in your own time

Kay4MattTTC · 14/04/2009 14:56

i am studying beauty therapy.

gemstones · 14/04/2009 14:53

Kay do you work or studying, jus trying to think of things to take your mind off TTC

Kay4MattTTC · 14/04/2009 14:34

hey gem thankQ. yes it is very hard. and i am trying to keep occupied but DP is working so am sat on my own

gemstones · 14/04/2009 14:28

Afternoon Ladies,

Keep your chin up Kay something will happen soon enough. I know its hard when its all you can think about, try and keep yourself occupied
Blocka we are cycle buddies, looking good for you, got everything crossed!
I havnt had any implantation bleeding as yet but my tummy is definately starting to feel bloated- is that a good sign or just wishful thinking? When do you think you will test next week?

Kay4MattTTC · 14/04/2009 13:39

afternoon all. hope everyone is oki.

here's an update about me:
i am now on CD14. hopeing there is a chance somthing might happen after last night , but not sure anything has cause i haven't noticed an ovulation on my FC again . today i am feeling pritty . so thinking i might stay indoors.

Higglepig · 14/04/2009 13:18

Aha - will also be testing on Sat if nothing before then laurielou

laurielou · 14/04/2009 13:06

higglepig I am 1 day overdue based on cycle length of last 3 months. But had longer irregualr cycles before then, so who really knows? If nothing by Sat I'm going to test then.....

blocka this sounds really promising. Do keep us posted.....

bringonthetrumpets we're in the same "buggar off AF" boat. Here's hoping it stays that way & we can start next week with some good news.

bringonthetrumpets · 14/04/2009 12:55

wish i had some good news. af is also one day late. hope it means good things to look forward to! if she doesn't show before friday then i'll test.

Higglepig · 14/04/2009 12:42

ooh goodness that does sound exciting Blocka... looking forward to the next installment

bringonthetrumpets · 14/04/2009 12:42

oh blocka ! i really hope that's what it is!! that would be awesome!

Higglepig · 14/04/2009 12:40

So when are you going to test laurielou - aren't you one day overdue already?

Blocka · 14/04/2009 12:40

okay girls, I am really trying not to get excited. I have just checked on the web and it says implantation bleeding usually occurs a week after ovulation. It is exactly one week since I got my smiley face on my OPK and there was definate light spotting in my CM today.

Deep breaths. Deep breaths

laurielou · 14/04/2009 12:25

Well done higglepig I'm proud of you.

Same here - no-one knows we're ttc & I don't think DP would like to know the nitty gritty either. So we just have to rely on our own willpower. Here's hoping..........

blocka sounds hopeful to me...

Fingers crossed all round!

Bettymum · 14/04/2009 12:21

Hello girls,
I've saved DD's chocolate button egg for you all, I think she's too young to appreciate it fully .
My temp plummeted this morning, it did that last month so I think that means I am going to ovulate tomorrow - so should be BDing tonight but am babysitting for my friend as it's her wedding anniversary and she's going out for dinner. So I'll have to wake DH up when I get home .

Blocka · 14/04/2009 12:01

Hi girls, and welcome the new riders.

I'm on day 22 of a 28 day cycle, just been to the loo and there was (TMI alert) blood in my CM.

Could this be implantation?!?!?! Is it too early for that?
