Hi NewMember we are on the same cycle day so we can be buddies! Where are you getting your tests - £150! There is a good website called access diagnostics, their prices are pretty reasonable and they deliver promptly .

NewMember · 15/04/2009 15:13

It is great reading everyone's comments! I was starting to feel quite alone in this process. I never thought for a minute I would find it hard or stressful on my journey to concieve. I think over the past 4 months I have prob spent at least £150.00 on tests, hoping to see a positive! It gets so frustrating and I get so stressed about with it all. My monitor has peaked for 2 days this week, i am hoping this will be my lucky month - although cant help but feel negative!

Afternoon ladies

Higglepig Im totally with you ive been feeling well bloated these last few days and im starting to feel a little less hopeful.
Oh well its not over yet. Good luck with tesing, im testing Sunday.
Hello to new members

Higglepig · 15/04/2009 14:04

ooh, like the new CD order - good to know who we should be keeping an eye on

laurielou I bow to your superior patience, I'd sooo have tested by now

blocka I'm in a similar situation, hen night on Saturday AF due Sunday/Mon/Tue so I'm going to test Saturday morning so I can drink with gay abandon if it's a BFN. Not feeling v hopeful at all now - have a really bloated tummy, which is standard PM territory for me

Hello

Am flagging down and jumping on! Still waiting for AF but after spending the last week with light and unusual cramping which made me convince myself that something was happening - today I have very definitely got AF cramps. Grrrrr. My body is playing tricks on me. In order to stay positive about impending arrival of AF am looking to 2010 now! Onwards and upwards (and fingers well and truly crossed for all of us!!!)

Effie I had a 49 day cycle last month! - I didn't "feel" pg, was actually pretty convinced I wasn't, then did a few tests just in case. So - hoping you are but just to say I experienced the same (and it isn't nice). Hope you either get BFP or come on soon so you can move on.

Hi MrsStripey, I'll add you onto our list!

Newmember the codes are UCL = Usual Cycle length (so I am 28 for 28 days), and CD means the day of the cycle you are on, day 1 being the first day of your AF (Aunty Flo = period - god knows why)

EffieGadsby , you are so patient - my advice is to test.....

MrsStripey · 15/04/2009 11:52

Hi All

Another new MN member jumping on the bus. Can someone add me please

TTC#2 Cycle2 UCL32 CD4

Thanks

EffieGadsby · 15/04/2009 11:41

I can't believe I am on CD42 - I'd hoped as my last two cycles were more or less normal (for me) at 35 days each, that things might have settled down a bit. Am trying to decide today whether to test; the likelihood that I conceived is ridiculously small, but the wondering 'what if?' is very frustrating. However, as I know my cycles are ludicrous, I don't want to be be testing all the time and then (almost inevitably) being disappointed. Hmmph.

NewMember · 15/04/2009 10:31

Hi All,

I am a bit confused with the 'codes' you are using! lol

donttrythisathome have asked me for my
TTC? Cycle ? UCL? CD?:

I can work out Trying To Concieve - #1
Cycle 4 (i think)
UCL?
CD?

Some help would be great!

stephiepug · 15/04/2009 10:12

i took a clear blue this morning and negative, iv had bad AF cramps and im due on fri anyway so its deffo on its way x

VeryAnnieMary · 15/04/2009 09:28

laurilou your devotion is admirable - I don't even tell DH I am testing, I just scurry away. Though he also says I can't be pregnant cos he's faking anyway. I don't think he's taking this process seriously. Boys are mean.

seanybosmummy · 15/04/2009 09:14

morning girls, blocka and laurielou im pmsl at your evil thoughts, believe me i am the same lol i think you should just test and pretend that you didnt

TakeLovingChances · 15/04/2009 08:53

DH and I ttc, if I get preg now baby will be born in Jan 10, but we're not specifically aiming for Jan 10.

It's all a total minefield! But good fun trying

laurielou · 15/04/2009 08:43

blocka thank God!! I'd thought of doing the test without him, then obviously lying about it when we test together "for the first time" on Sat. How reassuring that I'm not alone in evil thoughts!!

No, DP isn't away, he's just very, very laid back. But I think even he's excited as he keeps asking me how the baby's doing. In a bizarre way I think we're both nervous in case its a BFN. At least we can keep the exciting thoughts going for a few more days...

If I last that long............

Blocka · 15/04/2009 08:38

Just realised laurielou, that your DP is not actually away, he is just forcing you to wait until Sat. That is pure evil!!!

You must talk him round. If you pee on the stick in front of him - whats the worst he can do?

Blocka · 15/04/2009 08:37

Hi stephiepug wht are you convinced AF is coming? PG sometimes disguses itself as the evil AF you know!

Laurielou - you have the patience of a saint, I would of tested by now and tested again when DP was home, and lied and said it was my first test!!

But, do not follow my example, I am evil. Hold off until Saturday - it is looking really, really, really postive for you, and everyday without AF you are getting closer to being PG! It will be so lovely for you and your DP to do the test together.

Can you not force him to come home today?

stephiepug · 15/04/2009 08:13

hiya i would like to get on please, TTC baby no 3 now for 3 months, AF due tomorrow or fri but its deffo comming so Jan will the next one for Me

laurielou · 15/04/2009 08:09

Morning ladies & welcome new members.

blocka agree with the majority, test Fri, & (depending on results) have a bloody good drink & enjoy!!

I'm now starting day 32 & still no sign of AF. The calmness of yesterday has gone & I'm starting to resemble the girl from the exorcist with my head spinning around. Hardly slept a wink all night, popping to the loo every 5 mins just to check.

I can't possibly test without DP - think he'd kill me - & his determination to wait until Sat cannot be weakened (trust me, I've tried ALL SORTS!!)

ARGH!! Someone talk me down off the ledge!! Just as soon as I've been to the ladies to check............

Hello Everyone!

A friend had recommended this site! So thought I would come on and give it a go...

My partner and I have been hoping to conceive since Christmas! I have recently purchased the 'Clearblue Fertility Monitor'. I was hoping to find out some information. Are any of you currently using the monitor?

Thank You

NewMember!
