Late period but negative test

Period due today but neg test I so hope I am pregnant

hello there very new here, ive been trying for a baby since january after having my rod out, got my periods 5 months later and everythings been normal since, i took a test the other day before my period was due and got a negative, now im 2 days late got small cramps, high temp and sicky feelings...anyone else been through this and got a positive result?

I am now 15 days late :/ I used a co-op own prganancy test at 5 days late (negative) and today tried the clear blue digital ( big fat NOT PREGNANT). Surely this is a definite no but I don't understand why I'm so late when normally I'm always bang on :/ any advice/reassurance would be much appreciated xx

I'm in a similar boat I had a miscarriage 3months ago 😥 And now my last period started on 1st may I still haven't come on but still getting negative clear blue digital tests it's so annoying we really want that positive now !! From doing a few ovulation tests in may I ovulated much later then I should have so was thinking maybe it's just to early still but it's just driving me mad !! I'm going to get a doctors appointment next week I think and see what's happening I'm going on holiday in a few weeks so really wanted to know before then !! Just can't see why else I wouldn't have come on yet as I'm usually regular !

Hi. Newbie here. I am the same over 2 weeks late. Been ttc since November. A chemical pregnancy and now the late period. All negative tests but every symptom going. So annoying

Honestly, you need to make a doctors appointment. Some people never have a positive pregnancy test, my friends sister had it confirmed through blood tests at 12 weeks and never had a positive home test! Is there any possibility you ovulated later than usual? That could also mean that you may be a lot earlier than you think, hence the negative tests. Your HCG levels might not be high enough yet.

Hello everyone

This is my first post and I could really do with the advice. I came off the pill at Christmas and I have had 2 pill free periods. With my last period (February) I was 7 days late. Taking into account all of these changes in my cycle my calculator had predicted that my period was due on the 4th march. I am now 19 days late and we have been trying to conceive since Christmas. I have never missed a period and I have taken 3 pregnancy tests, one 2 days after my expected period, the second test 7 days after my expected period and my third test 14 days after my expected period. All tests have been negative and I have used the clear blue home pregnancy tests.
I really want to be pregnant and I'm now frustrated and I don' know what I should do. I have no symptoms of PMS I'm just more exhausted than usual at work.

I have the exact same problem, I have had abdominal cramps and very sore breasts aswell as light spotting coming upto 2 weeks ago now. I am now 7 days late I did my first test today which has come back negative.
Should I wait a few weeks and try again? Only problem the test was only a cheap one from b&m bargains.

Hi my name is Pamela. In 29 years old with a 4 year old son. I currently trying for baby number 2. I had a period on the 3rd of August that lasted 7 days. But was very light. Would say more spotting. Was defo not a oral period. Think a couple days I didn't have anything. It's now 2nd of October and my period hasn't arrived. Iv done test after test and all negative. Although with my son I didn't find out I was pregnant with him till I was 8 weeks and I had 4 negative results with him. Iv had some signs. Like going to the toilet a lot. Feeling sick. Tired. Constipated. Sorry to much info there. Moody. Emotional. But I mainly go toilet at night alot. I'm feeling really confused. Went to my gps and she is gonna send me for a scan within the next couple week. Can anyone relate to my story and kinda give me some feedback. Thank u

Hi I was wondering if you girls could help me I had bleeding 13 days before my period was due and now my period haven't come am I pregnant? I have cramps like a period but nothing is happening and I have never been late?

i am also now 4 days late and have had 2 neg tests. i think i took them too early though lol :( less severe period pains and light spotting (which i never had before) but don't know if its period or baby so confused !
@Smudge116 last time i ttc my period came around two weeks late and i was gutted... everyone's bodys' different just had to wait it out and hope x

I know this is an old thread but am hoping for some clarification to those ladies who have experienced what I am currently experiencing! I'm now 8 days late, like most that I have read I am never late, always like clockwork. My fiancé and I are trying so obviously the result would be great if we were pregnant! I have been trying for a baby now for 8 years am a very days late now I did take two clear blue tests but getting a nagative result I took them a day apart but still have not come on my period so shall I leave it another few days. I get the odd pain in my tummy as if am going to come on but I don't.

I stopped the pill a month and a half ago nearly 2 months and when I've stopped the pill before I've had a normal period. Hi, new to this site..42 yr old TTC for 2 yrs, about to start IVF and very excited but now waiting for my AF to start before I can start medication.. It's 3 days late... I am never late.. 2- CB tests? I'm getting stressed now as HPT negative yet period no where to be seen?... For 2 yrs have hoped it wouldn't come and now I'm waiting for it as can't start IVF till it comes... Could I be pregnant even with 2 - tests.. I feel in limbo.. Can any one help??? How reliable are CB DIDGI? ..

Just an update really as I hate when I read threads and then don't know what happened afterwards. Kinda like a book with the last page torn out! So my period was 9 days late. Never that late EVER in my whole life. EVER. I had sore boobs and felt I'll and had cramps but alas I was NOT pregnant. The body and mind can do strange things so as far as in concerned until I get a positive test at home or from a doctor I am not pregnant.

Kayleigh if you're a month late and the tests are still saying negative then you aren't pregnant. By this stage the baby should be big enough that you'd be able to see a heartbeat on a scan and your hcg levels would be very high. I'd just follow your Dr's advice.

Hello I'm new to this but I need some answers I'm so confused.. I've not had a period for over a month but all the tests I keep doing are saying negative. I have rang the doctors but they've told me to take urine sample down but what is the point in doing cos all the test keeping saying negative. I'm also feeling very sicky and sore boobs and I keep getting period pain but still not period I'm never late on period they come each month on time. I've also been pregnant before so I know what to expect but I'm feeling I am.

Still no period , still no signs of coming on either.... Lots of creamy discharge still , feel queasy this morning???? What do I do????

Also my nurse trusts it that much if I go see her she will give me drugs to help get my period started which scares me cus what if the tests are wrong and I am pg that mean bye bye baby doesn't it ? X
