dh and I are having a last push at ttc. we are giving it either a year or another mc before we give up (haven't told gp ) so i have decided to reopen the anti-testing thread!

CD20 just worked it out - I really hope I can take a drink with me.

I was worried it might be toxi...... cat infection as I have one beloved cat but it didn't sound like that - it was so long i got lost - wish i'd asked her to repeat it or spell it now. She's calling back tomorrow after speaking to GP - wish i could get an appt though earliest one I could get is next week.

And that was meant to be black humour earlier but I can't type - can't be a sympton I can never type!

Cheers for that trying not to worry - I know its a high chance i wouldn't be but its still difficult.

Apparently the tablets are so foul you have to take them all at once otherwise people "forget" to.

In my vlack humour though it was funny the nurse saying oh this infection is only a problem if your pregnant and then a significant pause in the conversation.

aww Liskey well like you said its prob to late to stop trying now! Its not like you knew you had an infection so try not to worry till they call you back.
Sorry you have to take 5 of the horrid tablets though!

It was something long and medical and beginning with I - I think - you need a course of 5 apparently foul tablets to clear it up.

Nurse said she'd call me back tomorrow - and to stop trying at the moment! I said it was a bit late for that as OV at the weekend - AF i thought would be due the 16th but seeing as I OV late could be delayed.

aww Liskey im sorry! Is the infection BV? If so they can treat with antibiotics while your trying and when you are pregnant.

I hope you dont have to wait to long, as for the infection and thrush within a week you'll be all cleared up sweet.

Hi all I'm feeling stressed.

Went to the dr's last week and had some swabs - results now back - thrush and an infection which can cause mc. So nurse who gives me the results says are you pregnant? and I say no but we're actively trying - now I'm feeling confused and she needs to speak to the dr about what treatment they can offer.

I am doing really well this month, I know I am in the 2ww but I am not even certain what CD I am and it feels great . Still getting occasional cramping not sure what is going on there.

I am not symptom spotting which is great but it is a bit early I suppose so there is still time for that I am sure.

I had the internal scan last year as well - horrible isn't it.

Sorry your still feeling confused Iaatcey - try and refrain from testing as long as you can - easier said than done though.

I think I must have OV on CD 16/17 which is quite late I think for me so keeping my fingers crossed - and SH and I keep trying.

Iaatcey - sorry you didn't get the right result today but I agree with others it's probably too early if the digi is correct and its only 2-3 weeks. I saw nothing with dd til 7+5 so could easily be too early.
Nunnie - I am an advocate of bd-ing til AF you never know how long an egg may hang about... go for it!
MrsMC82 - well done a test free day! Save your money and enjoy a BFP you can be sure of rather than a BFN you might question - save the money you'll need it if BFP comes up!
Everyone else - glad to see th sympton spotting is going well - keep us posted!

Hey Nunnie, i shall call GP today and push ask them to test my hcg levels. As for scan yes it was transvaginal scan with a Huge wand thing! Took my little sis with me which was good for peace of mind, although she had her 5 months old baby snoozing with her

MrsMc82 hello and welcome, exactly what Pistachio said, don't do it, it is a complete waste of money, and you can't rely on an early test to give you an accurate result, so will ahve to test later anyway. Wait until AF does not arrive and then test.

iaatcey, Did they do the internal scan? I had a couple of those. I am sure they will have checked you tubes as a matter of normality in the EPU, please try not to worry. I know its hard but try and leave it another week to test and make an appointment with your GP for blood tests in the mean time.

That's so awful that they didn't explain exactly what they were doing and don't seem to have done everything they could. I would be furious too and a bit worried.

I think the only thing you can do is try not to worry too much (ha! easier said than done)and if it makes you feel better, test after a suitable interval to check that you're still coming up with a BFP. Hopefully it will and in a couple of weeks when you get scanned again you'll be able to see something.

Morning lemon i'm just so angry! I dont know if they checked my tubes or anything, im now aching on my left side but i think its where she poked me with her scanning wand! Have you seen them OMG there awful! Not sure i can wait a whole week to test again have 4 tests left so may have to do one in about 3/4 days then again 3/4 days later lol! may even buy a digi test in a week or so and see if thats gone up in weeks....... Its the only way i'll know if digi test said 4-5 then it means theres def a baby there surely!
This is driving me mad.

How is everyone anyway? Are you all in the 2 ww now?
Hows symptom spotting going?
