they are probably pre-period boobs anyway!

Joycey29 · 16/03/2009 22:14

bugger! mine don't even feel vaguely sore! Think its time to go to bed and hope for a sympton filled day tomorrow........

OracleInaCoracle · 16/03/2009 22:12

ah, now that IS a symptom i just keep showing dh my boobs "do they look bigger?" "are they veiny?" "dont touch them you knob, they fecking hurt!"

OP posts:
Joycey29 · 16/03/2009 22:02

On the other hand I am irrationally angry at my husband for no good reason

Joycey29 · 16/03/2009 22:01

I think my boobs have shrunk!

OracleInaCoracle · 16/03/2009 22:00

oh joycey, it aint over til the evil witch sings!

lol at being on the wagon, im not really tempted yet, although my boobs are enormous. seriously massive, its easy to tell coz im normally so err flat petite. only a week to go!!

OP posts:
Liskey · 16/03/2009 21:59

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Joycey29.

I hadn't thought of keeping one in the glove compartment thinking if I buy anymore the drawer in the bathroom won't hold them all - they'll start taking over the bedroom as well

Joycey29 · 16/03/2009 21:53

HI guys, home early!
Yes LIskey six does sound excessive. However I am a fine one to talk I have 2 in my tea towel drawer ( so not tempted when I pee) and bizarrely one in my glove compartment. I feel a bit like an alcoholic on the wagon with secret stashes - I am going mad!
Feeling crap today as no symptons appearing and not even tired after 14 hour shift- not looking good

OracleInaCoracle · 16/03/2009 21:49

not if you leave them til next month!

OP posts:
Liskey · 16/03/2009 21:36

So if i go and buy those tests that'll mean i'll have 6 in the house - does this sound slightly excessive?

Liskey · 16/03/2009 21:33

i think your right really, lissie - i keep telling myself not to get too hopeful - that AF could start any time soon.

OracleInaCoracle · 16/03/2009 21:29

liskey, if your cycle has been a bit funny i would leave it an extra couple of days. my body always tends to even itself out by itself, eg 30d cycle one month, 26 the next, then 28 until the next "blip"

shirley, thats a really good offer, may pop in myself!!

OP posts:
Liskey · 16/03/2009 21:22

Since the mc last year I've tended to a 27 day cycle but its been a bit funny lately - had flu and ended up with a 42 day and then a 14 day cycle - thanks body for that (so it ended up being roughly when it should have been!)

I'm trying to be strong.....hold out till later but the willpower is fading

shirleyc · 16/03/2009 21:16

ooh day 28..... hmm maybe im not the best to suggest doing the test i say at day 28 go for it, hope im not encouraging you to do it to soon
Good luck let us know how you get on

Liskey · 16/03/2009 21:12

ooh that sounds a good offer - I'll be driving past Tesco tomorrow....now so I test or not Day 28 tomorrow!

shirleyc · 16/03/2009 21:04

Hey all just got back from work and after a trip to tescos thought id let some of you know Tescos are doing a pg test offer 4 tests for £9. (i bought some but will not be using till my decided date)Not to be used before your dates you've decided on .

OracleInaCoracle · 16/03/2009 18:49

both self restraint and missspelling are syptoms

OP posts:
nunnie · 16/03/2009 18:46

I appear to type so quick I very rarely manage to spell have correctly

Is that a symptom too?

nunnie · 16/03/2009 18:45

nunnie · 16/03/2009 18:44

OracleInaCoracle · 16/03/2009 18:43

hi kerrie, welcome to testers anon. we will help you steer clear of the first response devil!

hi joycey, how are you doing?

nunnie, well done for resisting! i am truly impressed!!

OP posts:
kerryk · 16/03/2009 18:38

oh no, so i have to wait another whole week!!!

ok i should just about manage that (if i get dh to hide the other test sitting in the kitchen and take all my bank cards of me) its so bloody hard though.

nunnie · 16/03/2009 18:30

kerryk, you can of course join, one rule, you must not test again until after sat!

Why not test on monday with a couple of us if AF doesn't get you?

kerryk · 16/03/2009 18:23

hi everyone i was pointed in the direction of this thread yesterday. is it ok if i join in?

i have to confess i did do a first response test today and of course it was bfn. i have not given up hope though because i have no idea when my af is really due.

if it was going by the 28 days it would be this sat but i am not sure if i am 28 days or not (been on the pill for a good few years now)

TMI alert but after going to the toilet at lunch time i noticed a bit of brownish type blood on the paper, it was only a tiny amount and i knew it could not be af.

after trawling through the archives and looking on the net i have got it into my head that it is a implantation bleed, i really hope i am not disapointed next week!!

Joycey29 · 16/03/2009 17:58

Hi guys!
The only reason I've been AWOL is on a long shift at work so have had 14hrs free of the dreaded test and lets face it come 10 tonight I might as well just go to sleep and feel better that I have lasted another day!!
Nunnie you make me smile!!! So glad there is a fellow neurotic out there! I keep surreptiously feeling my boobs to see if they really are bigger. Even put next bigger bra on to make me feel good!
SAD but true... roll on the 21st!
