Oh God, I'm crap at this today...

Lissie, I'm crossing fingers that it has worked - perhaps booking your smear and looking forward to seeing the consultant will hurry things along

And Nunnie, I've got soreish (on and off) boobies, and have been cramping but I think I ovulated really late so I'm probably only DPO11 at best and more likely DPO9, which would mean the sore boobies and cramping are probably the witch on her way. Late ov is slightly worrying in itself, but heyho nothing much to be done about that for now.

Oh, and Joycey, that's fantastic news about seeing the baby's heartbeat. How are you feeling now?

Can I ask a stupid question please... what does 6+6 mean? I've seen others put 7+5 or 4+6 etc but I'm not sure what it means...

PistachioLemon · 09/04/2009 12:22

Liskey, does that mean no nasty pills?

Liskey · 09/04/2009 12:19

Hi everyone

Good luck with the non-testing Iaatcey and Lemon as well! Keeping fingers crossed AF stays away.

Really pleased to hear your news Joycey and that you can see a heartbeat already.

Found out that the infection is b-haemolytic streptococcus - which the GP said can be treated with penicillin so I'm to pick up a prescription later.

Joycey29 · 09/04/2009 11:54

Good effort - I reckon you have a good plan there! Just don't stress - not good for you or any bean....

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 09/04/2009 11:50

yayyy Joycey you saw Beans heartbeat how sweet!

Thanks for advice re test im not pla ning on retesting now till next week if i can wait that long

Joycey29 · 09/04/2009 11:47

HI Guys!
Well IAATCEY I think that a line is a line! I had really faint ones for my first and this one and a huge dark one for my second so I think it depends on the test, its age, your timimgs and lady luck as to whether you get a dark one.
Lemon - how clever to get to this point and not test - I am very impressed - fingers and toes are crossed for you!
Had 2nd scan today - 6 +6 so just as I thought. No more bleeding and a bean with a flickering heartbeat. Now the next milestone - 12 wks.
Baby dust to one and all!

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 09/04/2009 11:00

ooh lemon due tommorrow! lets hope she stays away you've been very good not to test yet!

I've looked on that thread thanks i suppose its diff for all woman. I was only a max of 4 weeks (as per what midwifes say) but prob only a max of 2 weeks since conception.

nunnie · 09/04/2009 10:48

At least you might get some answers on the 18th Lissie.

nunnie · 09/04/2009 10:47

lissielouwithbunnyears · 09/04/2009 10:47

lissielouwithbunnyears · 09/04/2009 10:45

nunnie · 09/04/2009 10:45

Why don't you think it has worked Lissie?

nunnie · 09/04/2009 10:43

Ohhh Pistacio you have survived the not testing early stage well done you
I have no symptoms but it is too early anyhow. How is your symptom spotting going?
I did a quiz on how many babies I would have well I did 2 quizzes I was bored, one said 3 and one said 7 !
I am blowing baby dust in your direction now Pistacio close your eyes please.

Hopefully your body will not flip out Lissie and your AF will stay away for another reason .

lissielouwithbunnyears · 09/04/2009 10:42

lissielouwithbunnyears · 09/04/2009 10:34

what pistachio said!

PistachioLemon · 09/04/2009 10:33

Nunnie - I'm due AF tomorrow.

PistachioLemon · 09/04/2009 10:31

Sorry iate - not been ignoring you - had to step away from the computer. I have to say, it's disgusting the way your GP and the EPU are treating you, so frustrating and not helpful at all.

Anyhow, rant over, I think I would go with the line's a line theory, especially as the tests do all differ and you could analyse forever and a day over whether one is a different sort of line than another. I guess what I'm trying to say (very clumsily) is that you should take comfort in the fact that you still have a line, and test again in a few days or on Tuesday if you can wait that long.

It must be so horrible for you not to know for certain either way, and I really hope you get a definitive answer soon. [hugs]

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 09/04/2009 10:29

ooh a weeks not a long tine nunnie, we met exactly a month ago now then! i think you were symptom spotting when i joined!

Gotta stay positive its all i can do, on verge of tears alot but its just the stress of it all.

nunnie · 09/04/2009 10:27

Glad to see you are keeping positive I will keep everything (well almost everything) crossed for you.

Is there any AFs/BFPs due soon? I have over a week left I am trying with all my might not to symptom spot and I am managing OK but it is still early days.
Still bonking mad

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 09/04/2009 10:21

wish they could tell me that, those small clots i had passed i passed on 28th which is now 11 days ago.
Dawn from the other thread said she tested 5 days after stopping bleeding and had BFN when she miscarried. So i am holding some hope, in fact a few woman said on here i'd be testing negative if i wasn't pregnant, i just dont know.

iateallthecreameggsyummy · 09/04/2009 10:18

yes i saw them Tuesday and had the scan done. They said wait a week, if im still positive Tuesday then go back and have another scan or wait 2 weeks if i can!
Ive googled the test being lighter and general concencus is a line in a line, no matter how light or dark it is. It is a big fat pink line and only slightly lighter than the last test... So im keeping fingers crossed and going to try to remain positive!
