Thankyou guys, im so on edge right now its unreal, feeling emotional and quite worried about results tommorrow.
tmi alert had this thick brown cm today, only a tiny tiny bit though, wipe away enough. Sure from all the info ive read it is normal if i was/am pregnant.

ok hi ladies so just got home from work.

Did the test this morning with first wee and after less than about 5 mins i chucked it to the side thinking oh well no line must be a no go this month. The line may have come up after i dismissed it as BFN.

Went back to bathroom before leaving for work and looked at it again (dont ask my why) and theres 2 lines. Lil sis came to my work and says there is def a line (it is light but definate) in the pregnancy box so 2 lines. I used the tesco tests.
Now if i did not have all the symptoms i do have, combined with my dog, who ussually spends the day led on the bed, yesterday he was on my lap the whole day, and when DH came home the dog wouldnt leave me alone, i suppose i would be thinking its not positive i cant be pg.
My manager had the same thing and left her test in her locker, 2 hours later went back and there was 2 lines, she did 3 more tests and got BFP each time.
So i've just bought myself 2 more tests clearblue ones. DH wants me to test in the morning again and see what happens.
He is adamant i am pg and were both quite shocked at the moment, esp as this is out first month ttc. So....
I shall test in the morning and see what happens. I will be most upset if it says 'Not pregnant' but i will keep trying.
So ladies cross your fingers for me please please please......... I'm not imagining this sickness i know its not me and usual.
Thanks all!!

Liskey · 26/03/2009 19:26

Good luck Shirley - sounds like another test is in order - try it first thing in the morning.

Joycey29 · 26/03/2009 18:13

Oh Shirley - what a nightmare!!! I don't know enough about it so can't advise. I would do another test but leave it a day and do it first thing. Which test was it - some are more sensitive than others? What did your sister say??

nunnie · 26/03/2009 16:34

shirleyc, I have looked at my first response test leaflet and it does say that a positive result will last for at least 48hrs but a negative result may not last and should not be read after 10mins.

I think you need to retest, but maybe leave it till Saturday like you originally planned hun.

I really do hope you are and I will keep my fingers tightly crossed for you.

PistachioLemon · 26/03/2009 13:32

[hugs] Definitely test again to put your mind at ease. You must be all over the place now and dying to know. Hope work's ok x

shirleyc · 26/03/2009 13:26

its ok i could cry now but i have to go to work. i am a day late for af (well i think) so will do another test in a couple of days. My lil sis bless says a line is a line so she driving to meet me at work to look for me, convince me im not going mad! fingers crossed as the other tests didnt show a line up later on as far as i could see anyway.

PistachioLemon · 26/03/2009 13:20

Aww Shirley, I don't know. I just know that if it's past the 10 minutes or 20 minutes or whatever it is, you can't rely on it. If AF hasn't arrived maybe you could do a new one? Could your sis bring one with her?

shirleyc · 26/03/2009 13:05

everything on the net says 2 lines means pregnant now im all confused with no tests left?? My little sis is coming to look at the test for me and my dh says we gonna test in couple days again. there def 2 lines there.....

shirleyc · 26/03/2009 13:02

oh ok

PistachioLemon · 26/03/2009 12:59

'Fraid so - probably just an evaporation line. Oh no - sorry hun Still no AF?

shirleyc · 26/03/2009 12:47

someone please be on!!!! Need some advice..... Left pg test on side in bathroom after doing this morning and just tidied up and got 2 lines????? I have to ignore this right as it didnt show up immediately?

PistachioLemon · 26/03/2009 11:20

Sorry nunnie, cross post. Me too. I'm defo not going to test early, it's just too upsetting, and anyway I don't really believe the BFN until AF arrives (I am definitely delusional) so it's just a waste of a test. As for symptom spotting, I am going to try to tone it down but this month I've been charting for the first time so I suspect symptom spotting will be worse than ever.

PistachioLemon · 26/03/2009 11:17

Now I'd be very excited about that. What sort of things are you getting? Yesterday I got some free fuschias in the post from a Telegraph offer so I'm going to have to do something with them soon - they're on the kitchen windowsill at the moment so they can look accusingly at me every time I put the kettle on.

nunnie · 26/03/2009 11:15

I have promised myself that this month I WILL NOT symptom spot and I will NOT test early.

Easy to say that though when still got AF

Joycey29 · 26/03/2009 10:40

all remarkably normal here!!
Off to garden centre to buy bedding plants!

PistachioLemon · 26/03/2009 10:28

Yay! Thanks Joycey. How are you today?

Joycey29 · 26/03/2009 10:21

Well done girls - day two and smoke free! I am so pleased that you have each other for support as it must be hard. Big hugs!

PistachioLemon · 26/03/2009 10:11

Yep, not long til I can start again

nunnie · 26/03/2009 10:04

What symptom spotting? I do too

PistachioLemon · 26/03/2009 10:01

Haha, I like it

nunnie · 26/03/2009 09:55

symptom spotting.

Green tea apparently can reduce the folic acid in your body, so best not to take it after ovulation and continue with folic acid.

PistachioLemon · 26/03/2009 09:51

Thanks nunnie, I don't mind grapefruit juice so I'll stick with that for now. I'd heard that about EPO but not about green tea, how interesting. Is there anything else I should be avoiding after OV?
