MrsDis I recognise him but can't for the life of me think of his name.

Someone spill!

Sweetkitty - i knew it i knew we would break you

We are starting to tell people (im 12 weeks now) and most reactions are asking if we need a telly or the ususal 'are you mad' etc. Only my parents and oddly DHs parent have been totally supportive.

I have a couple of friends left to tell; one who is very close friend but her DH is going for the snip soon and i think new babies are a tender subject? Though she knows i mc'd and would probably be very happy for me, but still. dont want to upset her or for her to avoid me etc

Rainbow - I'm very sorry to hear your news.

sweetkitty · 09/06/2009 22:59

rainbow - sorry things weren't more definite for you, the waiting is definitely the worst bit, take care of yourself x

ready - sorry for you too, hope things find a way of sorting themselves out

mrsdisorganised - thanks for the welcome, yes am preparing myself for all the remarks already, I won't even think about being pregnant until I'm over 12 weeks and feel the wee one kick

mrsdisorganised · 09/06/2009 22:30

Ready, really sorry and hope you can sort through things. Take care. x

Rainbow Don't really know what to say other than I hope that they don't have to make you feel like a 'pin cushion'!! Horrible for you, hopefully you'll get some answers soon.x

Hello Sweetkitty, good luck ttc#4, and no you're not mad although everyone loves to get some kind of comment in, I've been having them again since the gossip that I'm expecting #5 is out! You learn to ignore or if you're quick (I'm not usually!) you get a brilliant a witty comment straight back out

Hope you're not too sore Babyblue, not long now...

Well I've asked my midwife to give me a check next week as I am slightly paranoid at not feeling my lo move yet, won't have another scan until 34 weeks so I just want some reassurance that everything is ok. Still feeling sick but it has eased off thankfully, although my poor girls had cereal and fruit for dinner tonight as I couldn't face cooking, they didn't seem bothered!

Katnkittens · 09/06/2009 22:18

Double

RAINBOW - At least there was something there and there is still hope! The repeat blood tests are annoying and you feel like a pin cushion but at least they will give you some answers.... I bloody hate limbo land, thinking of you xxx

READY - I hope you get things sorted with your DH..... even if you are not ttc I hope you still lurk and post occasionally although I understand if you feel it'll be difficult for you.

I hope you are ok and have plenty of support from friends and those around you.

Katie xx

Aw Rainbow, I'm so sorry.

I'm going to have to step away from this thread. Sadly everything went wrong Sunday, as a result I no longer condsider myself to with dh.Unless the impossible happened last week, it look s like my blessing is 3.

Good luck all xx

rainbowdays · 09/06/2009 18:58

Scan today - inconclusive!!!!! Sac measures smaller apparently (although done by useless doc who admitted they weren't good at scans!), now having blood tests to look at hcg levels, repeat test after 48hours.... (Kat it makes me think of you!!!!). The reason given for the blood tests - to check for ectopic!!!! Strange since they see the sac in the uterus, but can't argue with the doc! I guess I will be a pin cushion for the nurse vampires this week.

mrsdisorganised · 09/06/2009 17:59

Rainbow, have been thinking of you, hope you are ok.x

Katnkittens · 09/06/2009 02:09

Just a quickie to say good luck for tomorrow rainbow and hope you find out one way or the other. xxxxx

BB - OUCH hip pain sounds terrible! At least the end is in sight now though!

xx

babyblue3 · 08/06/2009 17:21

Rainbow - Hope all goes well with you on Tuesday... please keep us posted. I am using my m/c date as LMP date for this pregnancy. Its a little strange. In fact, this Wed would have been my due date for the bean that I lost. Is it stupid of me to feel sad about that date approaching, when I have a healthy lil man growing inside me? It makes me feel selfish and guilty, but I can't help thinking about it.

My hips are really starting to kill me now. practically had to crawl to the loo this morning. Sigh... My massage therapist worked on them a little last week, but I think I am beyond help!

Got some more stuff done for baby this weekend. Infant carrier is washed and ready to go, crib is set up and ready, just need my labour bag and I am set!! Can't wait for July!

sweetkitty · 08/06/2009 10:32

Hi ladies used to hang out in here but can join properly now, this is the first time I have told anyone apart from DH obviously but we are ttc#4.

DD3 is 11 months now and still BFing periods all over the place, had one on the 8th May nothing since then and I am usually a 27 day clockwork girl, oh did a test BFN.

Just want some moral support as everyone else will think I am utterly insane to have 4.

rainbowdays - haven't read through all the thread but couldn't not leave you a message, so sorry to hear of your mc I often look at DD3 and think she woulnd't be here if I hadn't had a mc so some good did come of it, thinking of you, it's rough.

Yep, my little Jak was concieved immediately after a miscarriage, made giving lmp date as m/c date very interesting thoughout the pregnancy. I just hope that it works again this time, as I am not able to cope with too many more disappointments. Still swinging between being sure everything has ended and wondering just "what if" the baby has survived the massive bleeding and cramps etc. Tuesday can't come soon enough for me, I just need to know.

So sorry Rainbow that you are going through this Hopefully your scan comes back clean then and you can start fresh. They say you are more fertile after a m/c... thats how I got my lil man after all (and he is growing stronger all the time... my ribs can attest to that!).

Kat - fingers crossed that you will have success this time. How nice would that be to be preg at same time as your friend.

MrsD - I had the MS til 18 weeks this time around (and thats about the time I started to feel him move too). Maybe you have an anterior placenta like me, which is why you haven't felt your bean moving yet?? Hope you start to feel better soon. The past week or so I have noticed that my nausea is actually coming back... sigh... It may well be related to the stuffiness from my cold, but I am not happy about it. 18 weeks of it was more than enough! Besides... sore back and hips is enough to take right now! LOL... I have my OB appointment on Wednesday and hopefully he is a little more sympathetic than last time. If all goes well... next week will be my last week of work! Wooop Wooop!!

How is everyone else?

rainbowdays · 05/06/2009 08:48

Miscarriage will be confirmed at next scan on Tuesday, but my pregnancy tests are getting lighter finally.

mrsdisorganised · 04/06/2009 22:05

Just checking in and checking that you're ok Rainbow keep positive and I'm glad you're not in pain anymore, must be a good sign. xx

Kat hope that this is your month you better take your friends advice

Babyblue hope you're all feeling better, it's bad when you heavily pg too! 8 weeks will go by fast, you'll be busy with your other lo's.x

I'm at 19 weeks now, sickness only just going and some days i feel 'normal' again which I don't like(always think of sickness as being a positive indication that everything is ok!). Desperate for the baby to start moving, probably has but I'm too busy to notice.....
Building has officially (sp??) started and the house is a complete bombsite! Am thinking forward to my big kitchen!!

Hope everyone else is good!

Katnkittens · 04/06/2009 21:43

I'm lurking, not much to say really CD12 still going for it Had some really good news that my best friend is pregnant after years of struggling with endometriosis and being on the waiting list for IVF. It's early days but she's telling me to get shagging like mad so we can be pregnant together as she's terrified!!

Sounds good rainbow, pleased bleeding and pain have slowed down. Keeping everything crossed for you!

rainbowdays · 03/06/2009 20:51

It is quiet on here! I am now 7weeks, and I am having less pain and bleeding today, but have no idea what to expect at the next scan.

babyblue3 · 03/06/2009 18:25

Also been there... the wait is torture... sigh... Hopefully your little bean is fine. How far along are you?

Very quiet here lately... where is everyone??

Katnkittens · 03/06/2009 14:20

I know how you feel, been there Waiting for the scan is the worst Are you having any pain?

Hugs xxxx

rainbowdays · 03/06/2009 12:54

Things still don't look good, but scan not til next Tuesday, feels like an eternity away at the moment. I am holding onto the tiniest shred of hope until then.

Ready4anotherdecaffcoffee · 02/06/2009 23:27

Oh Rainbow ((hugs))
sending lots of positive vibes xx

babyblue3 · 02/06/2009 08:11

Oh Rainbow... positive thoughts stay strong, I bled in 2 pregnancies and all was fine. When is your scan??

Its 3am here and I can't sleep... sigh... back is killing me and I can't breathe. Insomnia is the worst!

Katnkittens · 02/06/2009 01:19

Ohhhh sweetheart!! ((glue))
Sending you every single positive vibe I have!

rainbowdays · 01/06/2009 21:46
