MrsDis I recognise him but can't for the life of me think of his name.

Someone spill!

Oh no, so sorry about that ready must be a nightmare.

Sounds like you're getting stuck in to helping him though, hopefully he'll get something very soon.

Sorry I am not too happy at the moment, due to finding out just now that another of my SIL is pregnant due in October. I am of course happy for her, but it is rubbing salt in the wound that I will not be having a 2009 baby like I wanted, while two of my SIL's are instead. Sorry I know I should not feel like this, it is just , but I need time to take in this new news. Why is is worse when it is family? Hopefully I will be in better mood soon.

Scorpio... you are very lucky not to get sick. I was ok with first 2 DCs... just migraines to deal with in first trimester. But these last 2 have been realy bad! I think the sickness lasted til about 18 weeks! Like I have said many times... just gettin too OLD for this!!!!!

otherwise i'm very tired and seem to get morning sickness a little first thing and a little in the afternoon. I think in the afternoon i need to nap but can't, so thats why i feel a little off. Keep getting hot flushes! I hate the early weeks too but tbh i never get awfully sick or anything, thank god. I am going to bed at 830pm each night though, lol. Feel sorry for DH as we just arent seeing each other much at all.

Katnkittens · 30/04/2009 14:45

I'll start a new list, just add yourselves on

Oooh... by 8 weeks you will get to see more than a little blob there will at least be a good sized bean in there! Thats sooo exciting! The first time I saw my LO was at 9 weeks. Its so hard to wait at this early stage. I had gone at 5w5d for my first scan and all they saw was a sac, no pole or HB. It was scary and disappointing... especially it being fresh after the m/c. So I definitely know that those 12 days are going to feel like forever. How are you feeling otherwise? I had such bad morning sickness by the time I was 8 weeks, that I felt like the time was standing still. I really dislike those early days! LOL... The only good thing is, we have all our DC's to keep us busy and distracted!

ScorpiowithabigS · 30/04/2009 13:21

this is the NHS scan, i will be exactly 8 weeks that day so at least there will be no 'is it there isnt it' issues.

It feels like forever, but its not really, is it?

babyblue3 · 30/04/2009 13:20

Scorpio - thats good news. The waiting is not fun though. Was this through the doctor, or did you decide to go private?? How far along will you be then?

Went to have my shot yesterday... my hip muscle was sore for the rest of the evening... the nurse was not gentle at all! When she jabbed me, I almost jumped over the table I was leaning on! LOL... After my next doc appointment, I will begin going every 2 weeks. The office I go to have 9 OBS, so you cam imagine how busy it gets in there! Not to mention the medical building has nowhere near enough parking spaces, so I end up driving around and 'stalking' people who come out, just to get their spot! LOL

ScorpiowithabigS · 30/04/2009 12:58

Scan is a week Tuesday. 12 more days of waitng.....help me!!!

ScorpiowithabigS · 30/04/2009 09:42

babyblue - i'm STILL waiting for my appointment letter. I can get a private scan for £100 and my willpower is not lasting very long....i know i could get seen there by Saturday....

Rainbow - how are you, what cd are you? Think we need an update list!

rainbowdays · 29/04/2009 20:52

Hi babyblue, I am sitting surfing the net, when I should be doing something useful.... well done on reaching third trimester, will soon be birth time!!!!

babyblue3 · 29/04/2009 16:59

Where is everyone?? Hellooooo???

babyblue3 · 28/04/2009 13:19

Kat - go for it!! Tough job, but someone has to do it!!

Scorpio - when is your scan? It will be just fine.

Weather here is making my head ache! Yesterday we had 28 degrees and sunny... today 16 and pouring rain. Been like that all week. Up and down. The change in pressure gives me a bad headache... sigh.

Work getting busy for me... so at least the days are passing more quickly now. I am finally in my 3rd trimester! Hopefully it goes quick, since the first two dragged! Mum bought me a double stroller this past week, so all I need is a new carseat for DD2 (she is still in the infant carrier), and I am all set! I have been picking up boys clothing whenever I see a good sale (or just can't resist a sweet outfit!!), so I am just about set there too. Tomorrow I go for my Rhogam shot. Things are movin along nicely!

How is everyone else doing???

ScorpiowithabigS · 28/04/2009 10:29

its always worth a try - i actualyl got cross at dh for being away on cd19 - day i thought i oved but obviously a cd13 early morning one did it

awaiting my scan appointment. doing ok though.

Ready4anotherCoffee · 28/04/2009 00:06

leaves you the night of cd 13 and cd14 though. worth a try

Katnkittens · 27/04/2009 23:30

Although typical he's away with work from CD10 to CD13 this month... should be ok though

rainbowdays · 27/04/2009 22:20

Katnkittens · 27/04/2009 21:55

Think Dh might be persuaded to try another month..... amazing what a flutter of eyelids can do... he must be in a good mood because I spent money on loads of housey stuff and he didn't complain!
