Please don't be offended if you're not named, you're still welcome, I just have a rubbish memory. I can see a couple of you on November thread but there's a whole load of people not there. Just wondering if you wanted a little thread to keep in touch?

Headfairy - just replied to you on grapefruit thread. So sorry about your sad news. Was hoping a new thread might provide you with support from old friends.

And Sunnydale, I know you're wary of new threads, so though you might also like the company of old friends.

Wishing and Bubble having your weird long cycles and missing whole month's threads, thought this might be one for you too.

So what do you say? I'll start a list just in case:

Issy, ttc#1, cycle 14, ucl 28ish, cd 23/10dpo, mc Mar08, cp Sep08, IVF in April.

Hello everyone!

Sorry I've been absent all weekend, been busy buying cars (yay!!!) We've bought a 4 month old Volvo V50 estate and now i'm feeling really old!! My friend keeps taking the piss cos we're looking to move to the burbs, and we've got a Volvo. Next stop Point to pointing and Barbours all round (argh!!)

I've had the odd twinge here and there, but hell I can't tell so I'm not speculating. Every time I'm completely convinced I'm pg I'm not (or I am but lose it) and every time I'm convinced af is on it's way, I'm pg (but lose it) so I'm just ignoring everything.

Sorry af got you bubble but it's good your cycles seem much shorter than the mammoth 50 dayers, they seem more regular to me now. Is that right?

Issy good luck with the impending start pf IVF drugs. I found out at the weekend my friend is pg with her second through ivf. She doesn't have a partner, her little boy was born last year. He was born very early, at 24 weeks (nothing to do with the IVF) so he's had a lot of problems, but it really hasn't put her off. I hope March 15th wasn't too awful for you, these milestones are really hard aren't they? I passed the date I would have had my 12 week scan last week, which was rather sad.

sif don't worry, you didn't put me off this thread... I rarely get a chance to post when I'm off work, I always make a rule to spend as much time with ds doing nice things, so I can't come on in the day, and then dh dominates the pc in the evenings (grr)

Blue your weekend sounded fab, I hope you enjoyed the lie in and breakfast in bed! I'm on the 1ww with you, so hope you succeed in distracting yourself too

Girl how you doing? did you test yet?

Hello to everyone else, I'm off to spray a quick bit of water over the garden as it's looking a bit parched and it looks like we're going to have a nice week here. Take care everyone xx

Bubblebell1 · 16/03/2009 08:38

Morning girls!

Af got me.... only a 27 day cycle tho... thats the shortest ever. its a bad 1 too. i woke with a migrane and i feel dizzy. but surprisingly im not sad... more trying this month.. and i shall be stopping at the soft cheese and pate aisle sloshed down with some red wine...

good luck to all of you

hope you all had a good weekend?

Issy42 · 15/03/2009 22:02

Hi everyone - seems like I'm only managing a post about once a week.
Sif - you get used to temping quite quickly esp as you have to leave the thermometer next to the bed because getting up to get it would raise your temp. So understand your desire to be pg again asap after mc. How was Brighton? I lived there for a few years.
Blue - thanks for the showering of babydust. I'm going to Glastonbury this year, so might see Bruce Springsteen there. Glad the accupuncture worked for you and good luck on the 1ww.
Wishing - hope this weekend was a hangover free one for you.
Bubble - hope you had a lovely weekend alone with the kids. Your symptoms could equally be pg or AF ones so don't give up hope. Good luck for Thursday.
JJF - Good luck with the tests - glad your GP is being so good. Afraid I don't know about thrush and ttc. If you can't try this cycle then you can join me as I'm not trying yet either. Did you get your thesis finished?
HF - I used to live in South London too. Bought my first flat in Mitcham. Glad the grapefruit is working for you. Really understand your fears of being pg again - the 2ww becomes a 12 week wait, doesn't it? Have you finished your run of nights now? Did you find a new car?
Girl - 9 and a half pounds - ouch! Hope the family thing goes OK in May. Did you enjoy your weekend with your friend? Good luck with testing tomorrow.
Irish and Suzi - welcome to the thread. I do remember you both. Hope your chest infection is better now Irish. Good luck testing Saturday Suzi and so sorry you had mc.
Gateau - lovely to hear from you. Good luck for the scan on Thursday.

I found out on 15th March last year that was pg, so I've had a bit of sadness thinking of what might have been this weekend. Was out with my ex last night though and he was great - always able to cheer me up. Walk of shame this morning though . Such a shame he doesn't love me. Getting excited now though as got AF on Thursday so I now know that I'm starting down-regging on 2nd April and having egg collection around 28th. Apologies for not getting on. Had my pg friend visiting again this week and have spent my net time searching for something to do on my week off. Was going to return to Venice for few days but flights clashed with starting drugs, so decided on a week in the lakes instead. Have never been so really looking forward to it.

Good luck everyone on the 2ww and enjoy the wine those not.

My boobs are killing me today and still having cramps. had an outbreak of spots too AF is well and truely on her way...oh hell the bitch has even got her foot thru the door

SuziBhoy · 15/03/2009 11:21

hey all

yes my 1ww is almost over, and feeling the same as bubble with all the cramps and stuff... so who knows

i spent yesterday at work and i had 4 women sit in my chair (im a hairdresser) and they all announced they have just found out they are pg.... hopefully it rubbed off on me .

good luck bluesatinsash with the 1ww and to u to bubble

bluesatinsash · 15/03/2009 11:03

Hey All,

Just got out of bed after waking at 9am [lazy mare emotion]. DS is still at grannies so DH and me have had our Sunday mornings of old, breakfast in bed, morning sex (as opposed to bd) and the papers - bliss!

bubble - its sooo frustrating as AF symptoms and BFP symptoms are nei on identical - grrr.

girl how are you holding up?

suzi - not long now, your 1ww is almost over..

sif - has TEW showed up yet?

I'm now on 1ww territory and have hard week at work which should keep my mind busy .

Not too sunny up here but mild so we're off out for a walk once DS is dropped off.

Later ladies x

Bubblebell1 · 15/03/2009 07:36

i didnt think of that suzi . Im going to test in 5 days if AF doesnt get me first.

have you had a good weekend so far? It so sunny this morn... im going to get my furbabies out to have a stretch in the sun

SuziBhoy · 14/03/2009 22:44

well bubble...... im not reading into it too much (okay i am), but if u ov day 15/16 and your on cd25 that is 10 days since ov, roughly around the time you would get implantation pains/bleeding if u have concieved tell me to shut up

Bubblebell1 · 14/03/2009 20:30

Hi all,

Girl did u test?

sif did AF get you yet?

did u find a nice new car head?

well i dont think ive hit the jackpot this time. Ive got cramps on and off down below.. can only describe as a bubbles bursting sensation!! hot behind my pelvic bone and twangs on my ovaries (well that general area) and my boobs are heavy and sore TMI alert Xmas Blush ive got unusual cm thick and creamy.. not ew.? in like little blobsXmas Blush... Think AF is on her way. This would be the shortest cycle yet.. i checked in my diary when i had mc and im only on cd25 ov was 15/16 (well positive on opk) so still confused but at least my cycles are getting shorter.

fingers crossed we get some BFPs soon

xxx

girlwithacurl · 13/03/2009 15:30

head there is NO way I can wait until 14 DPO. But I haven't given in yet. See how I do over the weekend! Thanks for the info re. pink graprfruit juice, shall try that next cycle!

Hope everyone has a good and chilled weekend!

sifuentes · 13/03/2009 15:15

Hi dudes. Actually in a REALLY good mood today. Great to have PMT out of the way and it was great to have a Margharita and a couple of beers last night. I think that it was the first time that I have properly let my hair down in a while.

head it's lovely to have you back. I had a wave of fear that I had turned the no-freaking-out thread on its head and that I had therefore indirectly forced you to boycott it. Pleased that you are keeping Good to keep busy and not paying too much attention to ridiculous websites posted by silly silly people.

blue your cosy night in sounds lovely. I will do much the same this evening but without the booze as still a wee bit fragile and have a bit of tummy ache [pathetic creature emoticon]

Hi suzi I'm so sorry I didn't say hi earlier. I was still drunk preoccupied with work.

bubble i am pleased that you have so many symptoms . Some of the ones they right are so weird aren't they!

girl I hope you are staying strong!!!!!

I have my fingers crossed for all of you. You are all on the 2ww! I still find it so extraordinary that this thread puts out such strong convent vibes.

hasta la vista and have a lovely weekend everybody xxxx

SuziBhoy · 13/03/2009 13:57

thanks bluesatinsash, hope u have a good one..... i recently moved to edinburgh... nights out here are fun!! {grin}

bluesatinsash · 13/03/2009 13:35

to all!

bluesatinsash · 13/03/2009 13:33

Hi Head - glad you have caught up on your zzzzz and hope your drooling has calmed down . How's the house sale going?

Welcome Suzi - we were on a couple og ttc threads last year, fingers crossed for your iww

girl - step away from the test and heed Head's advice .

I agree with bubble that the 2ww site makes me feel chilled to the point of horizontal [gfrin] although I did have tingly nipples when the water hit them in the shower this morning , I actually laughed out loud to myself in a "oh calm down to a panic" way...

I'm having a nice cosy 'red wine' night on the couch tonight then out for my friend's 38th b'day tomorrow (in Edinburgh, cue lots of Irish types cutting about) but I'm driving as DS is staying at Grannies and me and DH would rather have a good sleep than a good drink!

Have a good weekend everyone x

Loving the red nose day smileys!!!

SuziBhoy · 13/03/2009 13:32

well headfairy im trying the whole different attitude to ttc aswell, and i think writing stats up has became a habit or something hope you have a chilled out w/end.

how is everyone else doing?

HeadFairy · 13/03/2009 12:15

Hello everyone, sorry I ducked out for a bit, catching up on much needed sleep after nights.

Sif, you are evil posting that link, I'm not looking, I'm not looking, I'm not looking... oh ok, I peeked. I was reading the pregnancy after miscarriage one, the woman kept saying she had over active saliva glands and just as I read that I started drooling! Talk about suggestion Anyway, not reading any more Naughty naughty for testing (sorry it was bfn) glad to hear you're feeling pretty chilled about it though, enjoy those drinks this weekend

girl you have to look at my rules, you're not allowed to test until you're 14 days late, that's about 28 dpo for me. Of course, I'll never stick to that myself (hypocrite? Moi?) but if you are pg, you won't be any less pg in a week or so, and if you're not, you won't have wasted any money. I've been drinking pink grapefruit juice (with a dash of orange juice to sweeten it) for a couple of months and this month I've had a noticeable increase in ewcm. I never get any usually, but on Sunday (which is either when I ov'd or just after) I had the most massive amount, so it's definitely worth sticking with in my book. You get used to it too, I had a glass of just orange juice this morning and it tasted sooooo sweet, it was quite yuk! (and I'm quite a sweet tooth)

Hi suzy, I remember you from other threads... welcome! You'll excuse me if I don't add any of my stats, it's part of my whole ignoring my cycle chilled out-ness!

bubble I'm so with you on the whole yo-yoing, won't bore you with every twinge, but I'm all over the place this month. Desperately trying to ignore... We've got quite a busy weekend ahead so that'll take my mind off things. We're test driving cars on Saturday (our old banger is dying) and on sunday we're going to see SIL for lunch (and if it's nice ds can charge around their garden so he doesn't destroy their house, they are mega house proud, the house is immaculate - they don't have children so don't understand just how destructive toddlers can be!)

Hi to everyone else... hope you have a good day. We've just been blown out for a playdate so once ds has had his nap I'm taking him to the park for a play.

xx

girlwithacurl · 13/03/2009 10:39

thanks sif i needed that!

sifuentes · 13/03/2009 10:36

oh poor you girl
You just have to remember you are still too early so

  1. It will a BFN
  2. That is a waste of money
  3. You won't feel better after you have done it.
Stay strong. You can do it!!!
girlwithacurl · 13/03/2009 09:47

i can't take this anymore... I WANT TO TEST!!!
help!!!

Bubblebell1 · 13/03/2009 07:45
