Please don't be offended if you're not named, you're still welcome, I just have a rubbish memory. I can see a couple of you on November thread but there's a whole load of people not there. Just wondering if you wanted a little thread to keep in touch?

Headfairy - just replied to you on grapefruit thread. So sorry about your sad news. Was hoping a new thread might provide you with support from old friends.

And Sunnydale, I know you're wary of new threads, so though you might also like the company of old friends.

Wishing and Bubble having your weird long cycles and missing whole month's threads, thought this might be one for you too.

So what do you say? I'll start a list just in case:

Issy, ttc#1, cycle 14, ucl 28ish, cd 23/10dpo, mc Mar08, cp Sep08, IVF in April.

Thanks Blue and Head. You were right. I had a good cry this afternoon and i feel better now.

Head that dress is lovely! you will look gorgeous

HeadFairy · 22/03/2009 17:51

Thanks Blue I've written off all hope of being with child by then now... not in a bad way, more in a "oh my gawd I'm going to get squiffy" kind of way. The wedding's at the end of May so if by some kind of miracle I was knocked up, I wouldn't have any bump to accomodate, but it is very handy for hiding my saggy belly (might have to invest in one of those boobs to knees spanx thingys!)

bluesatinsash · 22/03/2009 17:27

oh Head the dress and coat are gorgeous, what a lovely shade of green and I do love a well placed bow on a dress . If you are 'with child' by then it looks like the kind of style that could easily accomodate a wee bump .

HeadFairy · 22/03/2009 15:14

Bubble So sorry you're feeling so down. I too understand that feeling that you're ok 99% of the time and then something triggers the tears. I read an article about a woman who lost her baby at 35 weeks the other day and it finished me off, sat there sobbing for ten minutes. Actually sometimes it's a good thing, a really hard cry, admitting your feelings. For me it kind of opens a valve and releases the tension for a bit. It builds up again for sure, but for a while I feel better. I hope your hugs tonight make you feel better too.

Blue this is the dress I bought. It actually looks particularly underwhelming in the picture but it's really nice. The colour is slightly stronger in reality, and it's a great shape for me. I've found a really pretty coat which I'm going to try with the dress next week to see if it goes. Otherwise I'll get a silver pashmina and silver shoes to go with... I'm quite looking forward to this wedding too. It's a group of friends we always bump in to at weddings, and the last three I've either been pregnant or breastfeeding and have been very of how glamourous they all our, so I'm determined to look good. I've started body scrubbing every day so I'll have lovely shiney soft skin too.

Happy Mother's day to everyone.. I'm at work but I didn't start until 2 today so I had a morning at home with dh and ds. Poor ds has a stinking cold so he was particularly miserable, but it was still nice to get some time with him. Hope everyone else's day is good

xx

"I don't wish she wasn't pg, I just wish I was" - oh bubble I can soo relate. You'll feel better when your DH gets home and you get a big cuddle.

You have to go easy on yourself too, I've had 2 mc and feel fine 99% of the time but then wham! it floors me, what I've lost and what could have been (I should be on mat. leave as was due 6th April, instead I'm getting through tampons like they're going out of fashion )

We have to be strong and look forward, it WILL happen I just know it.

Suzi - how are you today?

Head - what's you 'double bluffing fate' dress like? Ooh I do love a good wedding..

Bubblebell1 · 22/03/2009 07:07

Morning girls!

Thanks Suzi i am trying hard to think of other things but its very consuming. I dont wish she wasnt pg. I just wish i was. we have been trying since oct and she has only been ttc the last 2 months. Then i think of the mc and think that i should be 10 wks now. was i stupid to think that the mc hadnt phased me. i feel like denying what happened then has made it worse somehow.

i cant wait til dh is home tonight.ive missed him this weekend and need a hug.

Happy mothers day and happy mum to be (in the near future)day!

SuziBhoy · 21/03/2009 17:45

aw bubble, sorry your feeling this way!! It is hard, and i know how you feel, my brother announced his gf is pg AGAIN!!! Try to concentrate on something else.... easier said than done i know, but try not let this eat you up!! thinkin of you

Bubblebell1 · 21/03/2009 14:41

Hi girls,

Im having a terrible day. My bils gf has just announced she is pg. I am feeling so sad and selfishly wondering why its not me. I felt fine after having the mc and was telling myself that its natures way but i cant help feeling how unfair it really is.i feel like ive hit a brick wall and keep thinking of what would of been.

dh is away with work and i cant bring myself to admit to ppl in rl that im feeling like this but i cant seem to stop myself from crying whenever anyone asks how i am. i feel so

Its such a beautiful day and im playing in the garden with ds2 but i keep drifting off into another world where ive got 3 dc and im happy not torturing myself with this whole ttc bollocks.

sorry to be so self indulgant. i know you all have the same worries and dreams.

SuziBhoy · 20/03/2009 18:57

thanks LJ29, i have sent you my address.

LJ29 · 20/03/2009 18:47

Suzibhoy do you want to e-mail me your address to [email protected].

HeadFairy · 20/03/2009 18:14

heheh sif, I've just bought a knock out dress for my friend's wedding in two months. I BET I'll still be able to wear it cos I won't be pg. Grrrrr!

sifuentes · 20/03/2009 18:02

oh blue makes me feel blue to hear you being blue

I totally sympathise though. I keep not buying clothes thinking it would be silly because I will only be able to wear them for 3 more months so silly and now means that i almost can't be bothered to get dressed because I am that bored with what is on my bedroom floor in my wardrobe.

good news on the acupuncture AND anniversary though. That sounds good.

Fingers crossed for head
my friend's IUI didn't work so I feel very for her too.
oh dear. AT LEAST IT'S THE WEEKEND.
take care lovely ladies xxx

SuziBhoy · 20/03/2009 16:49

yeah my cycles have always been long and unreliable...... i had an ectopic pg last year around this time, and mc just before xmas, so that has probably mucked up my cycle big time. i will make an appointment to have a chat about it!! everything helps please let me know how you get on at the doc

girlwithacurl · 20/03/2009 16:39

suzi with a cycle that long and unpredictable I would! I am going on tuesday and will discuss my "long" cycle, if you haven't gone by then I will let you know what she says. When was your MC. My cycle has been really long since I had mine, longest beeing 56 days, shortest 40. Before they were around 32... have yours always been long and unreliable?

girlwithacurl · 20/03/2009 16:37

Sorry you are feeling blue blue

AF is such s B*. Hope you have a lovely weekend, enjoy a glass or two in the sun! Your plans sound lovely, try and look forward to that and not focus on last cycle or other people... easier said than done I know...

this TTC malarky is really tough isn't it... why does nobody warn you!

SuziBhoy · 20/03/2009 16:36

hey girl yeah it is long..... didnt think about going to the docs, i just assumed the fact that im getting af means im alright!! do u think i should?? (waits nervously)

bluesatinsash · 20/03/2009 16:22

Hi Gals,

Been working off-site today so just got back to desk to catch up with y'all before I head home and slip into my bikini comfy joggies.

Well that old boot AF turned up today, 3 days early but at least I'm not spending the weekend in a heightened state of anxiety and guily at my red wine supping.

Have had a rubbish day actually girls, colleague had her 12 week scan today and I'm sitting there with AF in full flow wondering if it will ever happen and actually feeling jealous of the three year ago me for being pg and taking it all for granted - aaargh! I'm in bloody limbo with a house full of baby things that I so want to use again (regardless of sex, a DD will be dressed in blue with pink co-ordinates )and just feel like time is marching nae sprinting on - harrumph.

On the positive side I'm booked in for Acup sesh just before I should next ov and DH and me are going away for the night for our 5 year wed. anniv. that same week so hopefully the baby dust will flow .

Anyway, enough about me , sorry you got a BFN Suzi - harrumph for you too.

Havea lovely weekend ladies and fingers crossed Head AF has lost your address .

girlwithacurl · 20/03/2009 16:06

thats really long suzi yes, good idea on the opks. have you been to the dr's?

sifuentes · 20/03/2009 16:02

woah that is long, suzi. how annoying for you. get some cheapies from zoombaby - I think that is where blue gets hers from

SuziBhoy · 20/03/2009 16:00

hey my last cycle was 48 days and the last 4 cycles before that were between 30 and 37. i should really start using opks so i know exactly when i ovulate, so that is what im going to do.

girlwithacurl · 20/03/2009 15:40

sorry aboutthe BFN suzi, how long was your last cycle?

HeadFairy · 20/03/2009 14:57

suzi

SuziBhoy · 20/03/2009 14:13

well ladies I got a BFN this morning... so have decided to try something else to help me be more clear about what my cycle is doing !! AF still hasnt showed yet... now on CD39, i wish my cycle was regular

Bubblebell1 · 20/03/2009 14:09

head i dont really feel in the mood either but after my short cycle this time im going to try and cover all bases.

girl try emailing him again. maybe he is busy and forgot to reply. i find im the 1 in my family that does all the organising and sometimes the others havnt even thought about the upcoming event. If he still doesnt reply ask him out right if there is something wrong. i would.

hi and congratulations LJ. not long til your 20w scan. will you find out the sex?

Suzi any news?

Sif and head good luck on your hunt for the perfect job.

SuziBhoy · 20/03/2009 13:15

hey LJ29.... i remember you, nice to hear from you again and congrats on the pg, see it does happen [grin}. i would be greedy grateful to take on your ov sticks. I have never used them before, but desperate times calls for any measure whatsoever maybe they will pass on some baby dust or something
