Please don't be offended if you're not named, you're still welcome, I just have a rubbish memory. I can see a couple of you on November thread but there's a whole load of people not there. Just wondering if you wanted a little thread to keep in touch?

Headfairy - just replied to you on grapefruit thread. So sorry about your sad news. Was hoping a new thread might provide you with support from old friends.

And Sunnydale, I know you're wary of new threads, so though you might also like the company of old friends.

Wishing and Bubble having your weird long cycles and missing whole month's threads, thought this might be one for you too.

So what do you say? I'll start a list just in case:

Issy, ttc#1, cycle 14, ucl 28ish, cd 23/10dpo, mc Mar08, cp Sep08, IVF in April.

Hi wasabi i think your cycle is still settling down after the MC and its probably hard to predict when you ov'd etc. I would continue with the temping next month as it does make things a lot clearer. I wouldn't give up hope though, its not over until the fat witch visits!!

wasabipeanut · 27/03/2009 10:52

Hi Bubble - it did occur that I might have ov'd later. I tried temping this month because I figured my cycle might be funny but gave up because after I thought I had ov'd my temp went down rather than up despite the fact I was doing the usual night waking because I was overheated. So wierd. I assumed I had been doing it wrong and just abandoned it.

I did use a cheapie internet test but it was meant to be a 10miu one. If only I had a short cycle I could at least be looking forwards now - currently on CD31 and counting.

Thanks for your optimism!

Bubblebell1 · 27/03/2009 10:32

What tests are you using? perhaps you ovd later and could still be pg. Im the same i always end up testing a few days early then everyday til af shows up . Do you chart your temp?

my last af was the first after my mc too. for some reason it was a short cycle. Only 26 days normally im a 30 day girl. Fingers crossed for you wasab. dont give up hope just yet.

wasabipeanut · 27/03/2009 10:19

Well I thought it was due yesterday based on the fact that last month I had a 12 day luteal phase - admittedly I don't know when I ov's last month as it was the post mc cycle and OPK's don't really work properly. I guessed based on ov pain and my night wakings from being too hot. So I'm not really late enough to test and know I was being silly but I woke last night boiling hot and have felt really full and bloaty the last 24 hours so thought just maybe I might have some hope.

But it must just have been PMT. I think my cycles must still be screwed up from my mc. This is my 1st full cycle after all.

Bubblebell1 · 27/03/2009 10:15

Wasab when is af due? do you have any symptoms? could you be too early and a bfp b just round the corner?

wasabipeanut · 27/03/2009 09:39

Headfairy - conjunctivitus is horrid - I have suffered with it in the past. Working from home sounds sensible to me!

Bubble - Have a lovely and naughty weekend

Well, like an idiot I tested this morning as still not got AF and got a BFN. Duh. I just wish AF would get a move on now.

Bubblebell1 · 27/03/2009 09:35

Morning ladeeez

wishing i think everything will be ok, its just early as your cycles are up the spout. dont worry chick. i know its easier said than done but im sure everything will be fine.

Head sorry to hear of your conjunctivitus thats awful. i hope you get sent home to recooperate.

Sif [shocked] that your employer has banned mn! how very dare they!!!! Im sure i read somewhere that social networking sites and such like boost employees performance

Well im off out tonight for my uncles 40th!! and this weekend is supposed to be the weekend of passion. so going to prepare myself. Its my birthday on monday! im going to be 27!!!!

HeadFairy · 26/03/2009 20:47

Sorry wishing, x post. Palpating is notoriously unscientific, and GPs are usually rotten at in anyway. I'm sorry they got your hopes up suggesting you may be further along than you thought, but don't despair too much. I hope the next three weeks fly by for you x

HeadFairy · 26/03/2009 20:45

Hi everyone, Sorry I've been incommunicado for a while. Been off and entertaining ds. I've also got the most horrendous conjunctivitis, my eye has swollen up massively, I look like I've gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. The doc has given me some antibiotic drops but he kind of freaked me out by saying if it wasn't much much better tomorrow I'd have to go to the eye hospital. EEK! I'm supposed to be working tomorrow, so I'm going to go in and scare them all with my Mad Eye Moody look and get myself sent home with a clear conscience. How manipulative am I?

The good news also is that my doc was very understanding, and despite that technically I can't say that I've had recurrant miscarriages, seeing as I've only had two, not three, he's going to get some bloods done. I'll have day 21 progesterone, thyroid, full blood count, iron check, oestrodial (I think that's an type of Oestrogen) and a few others to check I'm in tip top condition for pregancy. Now the downside is that my day 21 this cycle falls on flipping Easter Saturday, and the docs is shut all Easter weekend, plus Good Friday and Easter Monday. I'm going to ring up St Thomas's and beg their phlebotomy department to do my bloods for me on either Good Friday or Easter Saturday. Fingers crossed they'll be happy to help, I don't want to wait another month!

So sorry your scan has left you feeling stressed wishing. From what I've read on these threads about early scans it's quite common to not see much and have to wait for another scan. Doesn't make it any easier for you I know. There's every chance you're not as far along as you though, and three weeks will make all the difference. Fingers crossed for you.

Hi wasabi, lovely to meet you (actually I think we've bumped on one of the mc threads). Your lunch sounded delish!

Sorry about your BFN Rip Sif glad you got your smiley face, hope the bd marathon was successful and the 2ww isn't too painful for you. Hope you get mumsnet unbanned. Can't you invoke the human rights act?

Suzi so sorry abou the BFN, hope the docs can give you some answers.

Phew! I'm sorry if I've missed anyone, hope the Volvo is fabulous blue and you enjoy your break. Hello to everyone else...

xx

Wishing · 26/03/2009 20:32

Thanks ladies!! yes i had an internal! not pleasant! I wouldnt mind but i wouldnt have been surprised if the dr and midwife werent all "oh i can feel a lot going on you must be around 12 weeks!!"

She was sure everything would be fine and like you say hopefully 3 weeks will fly!

Im praying you get you xmas baby rip! Sending you bags of baby dust!!

this baby lark never gets easy does it, im sure its cos my cycles are sooooooo mixed up! xxxx

wasabipeanut · 26/03/2009 20:09

Wishing I'm sorry to read that your scan was unhelpful. Try to stay positive (easier said than done I know) and the time will pass eventually until the next one!

Suzi - sorry to hear your news too.

girlwithacurl · 26/03/2009 16:07

oh suzie yes go to the Dr's you need to know what is going on (and so do we!)

at the risk of sounding VERY old, can I just ask what they teach kids today, going through these CV's and cover letters they seem unable to put a coherent sentence together (and yes I know I make tons of mistakes on here... but I am not applying for a job...) [annoyed at having read a 100 CV's today with no one really jumping out at me emoticon]

SuziBhoy · 26/03/2009 15:55

wishing sorry your scan never went as you thought it would... it probably is early so the next time you will see what you wanted to see x

hey everyone, well i tested this morning and got a BFN so its a trip to the docs i think as im on CD45 now!!! what a nightmare

RipMacWinkle · 26/03/2009 15:41

Oh Wishing - I'm so sorry your scan wasn't everything you'd hoped. As the others said, I'll keep everything crossed that your wee bean is safe and sound. Three weeks will fly but it probably won't feel it for you (and it never does on the 2ww!!!)

I never MN at work - always too scared there's someone looking over my shoulder and I don't want to advertise a) that I'm ttc and b) that it's taking so long! They've banned a lot though so I'm sure if I did start logging in then they'd ban that too.

Interestingly, when a list of email addresses appeared on here last year with members (it was a glitch if iirc) there was a member with our company email address. I'd never do that!!

Thanks for all your lovely thoughts. I'm just a twit, honest. I never planned to test, i've had no pg symptoms. I had rec'd a free test when I bought OPKs last month so taht's what i used. Anyway, I quite fancy a wee Christmas baby now

girlwithacurl · 26/03/2009 14:42

wishing... wish it was more positive, but its not bad news, just you aren't as far along as you thought! try to stay positive! Sticky/positive vibes coming your way.

bluesatinsash · 26/03/2009 14:34

oh wishing sorry to hear your scan was inconclusive, did they give you an internal?

Good news thought that there IS a yolk sac, you may just be further behind thatn you thought and with your cycle being weird that could make sense.

Stay strong for 16th and come on here whenever you feel it getting too much xx

Wishing · 26/03/2009 14:28

hey ladies, im hanging around here for a little while longer, they couldnt see anything! so i have to go back in 3 weeks! they could see a yolk sac and a little white bit in it which they consider to be an embryo! but it has bought me crashing back down, the lady doing the scan was nice but not really very helpful, she said she cant give me a due date cos they cant see a foetus as yet - when i first went in she couldnt see anything and asked me to go drink loads of water and come back in an hour, i was fit to burst byt the time i went back! then all they could see was pretty much my bladder!!! so i have to go back on the 16th April! Which just seems ages away! (3 weeks today!)

im now worried im not even pregnant? DH is shouting at me for it cos he says i am its just really really tiny, around 3 weeks, which would put me at 5 weeks really wouldnt it, but its 7.5 weeks since my last period!!

anyway! sorry about your bfn rip, fingers crossed its just too early to tell!!

Sif cant believe they have banned you going at work! saying that i cant get on at my desk, i have to go to a communal internet area when i post at work!

has been rainy and sunny hear! im just miserable now though i dont feel i can get excited and now there is still sooooooo much that can go wrong!
xxxxx

bluesatinsash · 26/03/2009 14:07

girl - you saucy mare

girlwithacurl · 26/03/2009 14:04

ah ha... fancy rying to stop you from posting on MN... don't they realise you are far too resourceful for that!

weather here is also rubbish, wind, rain and cold.I totally scandalised one of my collegues when walking back from a meeting a gust of wind revealed my stocking tops... he couldn't look me in the eye after that one!

bluesatinsash · 26/03/2009 13:49

sif yay! re: smiley face on your gold plated digi ones . Well, what are you waiting for? get to it, chop chop!

How dare they ban mn think about all those fantasy footie sites all the men folk log onto at work - grrr. Saying that I vowed never to go on at work, then it was 'only on my lunch half hour' and these days its 'hell I need a break from all this WORK'

Rip sorry you got a BPN - we're all gearing up for xmas babies now so here's your bucket of baby dust

wasabipeanut · 26/03/2009 13:33

Sifuentes banning Mumsnet is just not on. Isn't there some privacy law you can cite??

sifuentes · 26/03/2009 13:32

Oh look serious x posts! Hey y'all!!
Oh and your not you're. B berries are hard when you are unaccustomed!

sifuentes · 26/03/2009 13:27

(Pooped emoticon) see ya!

wasabipeanut · 26/03/2009 13:26

I'm here - been partaking in some other threads also.

Wishing - any scan news?

Rip - I feel your pain.

Feeling a bit better this morning after crashing low walking ds back from nursery. Haven't actually got AF yet but have never spotted on this scale and NOT come on soon after. I just wish it would hurry up now and get itself over with.

girlwithacurl · 26/03/2009 13:23

i'm here too... need destracting from the 100's of CV's I have to read... really some poeple just haven't got a clue!
