thanks everyone and huge amounts of luck for tomorrow iggy.

Well af is still odd - more like spotting still though darker now and that coupled with temp drop a sign I think that it is af. Though none of the usual cramps (not complaining there) and some generally funny feelings. Maybe next month huh?

Iggy - good luck for tomorrow i am realy praying that everything will be ok for you.

Funtime - i have to join you on the MS front, i was actually sick today, but i think they are all good signs and as much as i feel like crap i am happy as hopefully this will mean i keep this one.
Have a friend coming for dinner tonight but dont think i could eat a thing oh dear.

Yellow sorry af got you what a bitch.

iggypiggy · 06/04/2009 15:24

Hi wasabi am mostly torturing myself with reading stuff online - is my new addiction. But is only just over 24hrs before scan - so should have definite answer soon. Have had more spotting on Sun - but nothing more so far... thanks for asking tho x

yellow sorry this isn't your month x

wasabipeanut · 06/04/2009 14:53

Funtime I hope everything is ok with you (well, as ok as it can be when you feel like honking most of the time). When I was pg with ds I suffered from what the tv ads coyly call "sluggishness." I found that a high fibre meusli every morning kept things more comfy! Whether of course you can actually stomach that might be another matter of course. I smiled when I saw your post about your ds's first pee in potty. Mine is only 19mo so I think this moment may be quite some time away but when he does I will be starting a thread to celebrate!

yellow - logged in thinking I might well see a BFP from you but obviously it wasn't to be this time round. Sorry she got you honey. Try not to read too much into a cycle that is randomly longer than usual. I know it messes with your head but I know I had the odd one every few months or so for no apparent reason and the following month it went back to normal again.

Jools - if you get a BFP you really won't care about the timing. Congrats from me also on shifting a stone - that is a lot of weight you should feel v proud. Like you, I often go off the idea of bd after the ship has sailed so to speak but most of the time I go with it for dh's sake. I kind of feel the need to prove to him that I don't only want him at the time that it might get me up the duff. It might take a me a smidge longer to get in the mood but I don't regret it afterwards!

Hopefor - I'm sorry AF finally got you but at least on Wednesday you can hopefully start to get some answers.

Pinky - I understand your disappointment about your progesterone but is there not an upside in the sense that this is quite easy to fix?

Iggy - what are you up to today sweetie?

No news from me, just popping in to see how we all are.

Yellowflowers · 06/04/2009 09:44

AF came properly this morning along with big temp dip - hat means this month I had a 16/17 day LP as opposed to a 12/13 one usually. How odd.

iggypiggy · 06/04/2009 09:41

jools you will be pleased if it happens tho I have everything crossed for you - we need more BFPs on this thread I think! Congrats on losing a stone!

Joolsiam · 06/04/2009 09:24

Hello Iggy - was thinking of you all weekend ..

I am 9DPO today and have backache plus period type pains and am quite bloated . Had creamy lotion like CM again yesterday and thought I had itchy nips for a while yesterday evening, but could have been imagining that one. I can't be imagining the pains today though - they are real !

If it happens, is kind of typical (!) - I'd told myself that we'd try TTC after Easter, as I've now lost just over a stone in weight and really wanted to motor on and lose another half stone. I didn't really fancy a Christmas baby either, but maybe that is what I'm going to get This week is going to drag !

iggypiggy · 06/04/2009 09:09

morning everyone - hope you all had good weekend?

funtime thanks for advice - we have been talking much this weekend (and before) and are basically pretty much prepared for the worst to happen - which I think it will.

Am torturing myself with reading loads on MCs and signs etc. But a combination of what I have read, how I feel and a sort of certainty that all is not well - am exepcting bad news tomorrow.

yellow any news? Hope AF is staying away?

jools how many dpo are you now?

funtime the MS is good tho

pinky have fingers crossed is just an off month

funtimewincies · 05/04/2009 19:55

Ooh, hadn't thought of that, I'll get some tomorrow !

Joolsiam · 05/04/2009 19:40

Funtime - I swear by Activia yoghurt to get things moving ...

funtimewincies · 05/04/2009 19:31

Thanks Jools, I'm OK. Major panic today as I had awful pains across the whole of my abdomen but I've also got horrible constipation so putting it down to that . The morning sickness is also all day at the moment and I had to go back to bed at lunchtime, leaving dh to sort out ds, who keeps looking mournfully at me and saying "mummy's not feeling very well, poor mummy".

Ds has also just produced his first wee in the potty at bath-time. Cue much dancing and praise and a biscuit bribe reward !

Good luck to all those waiting and hope that the appointment goes well hopefor.

hopeforbundleofjoy · 05/04/2009 19:10

heya all, i know ive been quite recently! ive had nothing to report! am due to see specialist on wedensday and af started today, 65 days since the 1st day of my last af.

joys!

hope every one else is ok. and not been got like i have

Yellowflowers · 05/04/2009 18:31

Hmmmm. Not sure. Not like a normal af but gone on too long to be anything other than that I think. It's still pinkish or brown watery discharge more than blood and nothing red yet but some dark stringey bits. No cramping, every so often a boob twinge but hardly at all and they are not bigger or veiny or anything. Messed up temp this am as usually do at 8 but woke up at six and it was ultra low then woke up at 9 and it was quite high.

Have had lovely day walking in park though.

Joolsiam · 05/04/2009 17:19

Pinky - I'm sure that Ray81 has been prescribed some sort of progesterone supplement - maybe that would work for you ??

How is "AF" behaving Yellow ?

Funtime - meant to ask how things were with you ?

I have creamy, lotiony CM again Keep wondering if I am feeling cramps, then convincing myself I am imagining it !

Yellowflowers · 05/04/2009 11:00

Well af still not here but spotting still is so guess it's a slow starting af or something as got another bfn today. bah! Was hoping for a first month of pre-seed miracle. Will put myself to bottom of list once af here properly.

don't know answer to you pinkyblue but hope you are right. and this could have been an off month.
xx

Hi All, just checking in I have been keeping away trying not to think about TTC, but missed you guys!

Iggy keeping everything crossed
Thanks for B6 advice Broodzilla will look into that.

Yellow fingers crossed that AF will stay away

Jools keeping all crossed for you

Hi to everyone I might have missed

I was gutted last week when found out that I had lower levels of Progesterone than I should have, had long chat with DH and he was clear that he did not want it to take over our life and take shine off what we already have (i.e two children) and that although he would love another it is not at any cost. I agree with him but at the same time still have hope that it could happen, I guess I have to just stop going on about it. When I think about the result GP gave me it was supposed to be 7 days before AF but as AF was late it would have been 8 days and so I guess that will have made the result lower (or am I clinging to a glimer) my result was lower than it should be but it was not really low. Of course I have read up on it and it is said that one test alone is not a definate as each cycle varies. I guess I will know if my temp goes up after OV this month. Sorry for my rant (bsmile)

Joolsiam · 04/04/2009 20:46

Finger crossed Yellow I had brown watery stuff at 13dpo - same day I got my BFP on a Clearblue ...

Funtime - dirty mind Of course I meant temperature I tend to lose interest afte ov and had such a bad night last night, DP's advances at 6.30am were met with the words "don't even think about it"

Yellowflowers · 04/04/2009 19:17

Happy weekend everyone. Sounds positive jools. Thinking of you iggy.

So af still not properly here at 15dpo. Yesterday spotting was pink (pale pink and very watery). Today it's an old brown colour and some brown stringy bits but only Shan I wipe. No need for pads at all yet so not counted as cd1 yet. Temp also still .2 above coverline. What do you reckon? Just a slow starting period? Did Internet cheapie this pm and possibly evaporation line, possibly faintest of faint lines, possibly nothing.

Have also picked two fights with dh today but all ok now. Big dinner with friends tonight but going to have one glass of wine max.

xx

I hope that we're talking temperature here Jools rather than simply showing off !

Joolsiam · 04/04/2009 17:00

Have been out in the garden, enjoying the sunshine and doing a lot of weeding - I started feeling REALLY dizzy every time I got up - came very close to fainting, so came in to hit the sofa - am hoping this is a PG symptom and not just low blood sugar !

Was really really hot in bed last night too

funtimewincies · 03/04/2009 19:16

I know that it's difficult, but try and have a nice weekend, if possible TOGETHER with your dp. It's so easy (I know too well ) to stay in your own world while you try and deal with your own feelings. Please try and talk about what's happening now and might/might not happen next week. Doing it now is so important.

Hear endeth the lesson !

yellowflowers · 03/04/2009 19:08

Definitely af but you are right that it's good for cycle to be back to 14 days luteal phase (it used to be) and starting with light flow not days of spotting. Funnily enough this month I had no acupuncture and unless it's affect was delayed then cycle has righted itself without it. (I say righted but still a 5 week cycle this tme though am pleased about lp).

Will be thinking of you this weekend iggy

Xx

Ok - leaving for the day soon.. have sadly spent most of the day on MN - is good distraction. Can't concentrate on work at all at the mo

Am hardly ever on at w/end - so I hope you all have a good one - and thanks all of you for your support xx

iggypiggy · 03/04/2009 16:11

well done yellow

So sorry about the BFN on the tests

thanks for being full of hope for me - is appreciated. Am feeling bit odd today... strange feelings in tummy... not cramps.

Joolsiam · 03/04/2009 16:09

Well, if it is AF, there is a bright side - you've now got a perfect luteal phase with no prior spotting - could be a good omen for next cycle
