Oh Iggy i am so so sorry for you and DH my thoughts are with you at this awful time.
Be sure to grieve, you have every right to and take as much time as you need. And keep in touch just because this has happened doesnt mean you cannot come here and vent to us all.

iggypiggy · 07/04/2009 19:25

ok - just back now. Bad news - but was expected

have to decide what to do as have been given two options - either wait for it to happen - or take pills.

Anyway girls - will be back with you sometime soon, back ttc I guess xx

funtimewincies · 07/04/2009 15:45

So much for a bloody early scan , got a date and it's at 11 weeks! Phoned and asked for something earlier but not a chance. I'm too sick and tired to argue.

Yellow - good that you're recording it all for your appointment.

Jools - unfortunately I had bad MS with the missed mc BUT I'm sure that this is closer to how it was with ds, who was a (disappearing) twin, eeek !

iggypiggy · 07/04/2009 14:48

If is any comfort funtime and broodzilla - i have had pretty much no nausea at all after the first week or two of finding out that I was PG - and you know where I am with this - so it must be a good thing that you have I have no sympathy only joking - I do xx

queenie sorry to hear you had a weekend of worry, but fab news about scan - am so pleased for you. thanks for your thoughts too.

yellow that doesn't sound nice - but i did read someone in one of my internet self torturing sessions that in MCs you can pass greyish stuff? Agree with everyone else - just tell them at your appt.

can i just say a huge huge thanks to all of you on this thread - you have all helped me so much over the last week. Sorry you've kind of had to live through the week with me. xx

Yellowflowers · 07/04/2009 11:18

yes sounds yuk doesn't it. The white/yellow/blue bit was small by the way - maybe about 5mm long as part of bigger clot. Will note it all down for my appt though. One more cycle before appt to see if we can do it by ourselves first.

I'll actually be very happy if I end up in a retching choir !! All I had last time was mild nausea - full on hurling might at least make me feel as if bean was sticking

funtimewincies · 07/04/2009 11:05

Broodzilla! I have been practising my scales all morning and feel another aria coming as I speak ( this is my face colour for most of the day at the mo).

Good luck for the weekend Jools.

queenie1 · 07/04/2009 11:03

yellow - i've not heard anything about what you describe either. When I had early MCs it was clotty but just a little bit more exaggerated than usual AF (which is always pretty clotty anyway). Suggest you mention it at your appointment next month (if you still need to go, that is )

Joolsiam · 07/04/2009 10:48

Yellow - have never heard of anything like the clots you describe - especially the colours.

I really don't know - it sounds like something may well have been going on. If you haven't already, I'd definitely note this all down in a diary to take to your appt.

Yellowflowers · 07/04/2009 10:44

Thanks queenie fab way to look at it. So pleased you saw your bean and it's a strong one. Good advice too re springclean broodzilla.

TMI alert!
I just went to loo and passed onto loo paper two big clots totally unlike my normal clotting. Thick and long and very dark and slimey but tough too and one had white/green /blue area. Would I be wrong to think given this period started late even with bfn this might be early mc? Or is this normal and I've just not noticed before?

Was planning to read preparing your body for conception again today but dh has tidied up and I don't know where he's put it.

Hi all - just been catching up on all the posts.

yellow - so sorry AF got you. Here's hoping that April is your month. If not, at least you've got your appointment in May...So, just think, this time next month you'll either have a BFP to get excited about or the beginnings of help and support to get you there.

jools - huge congratulations on losing a stone! Moreover, so hoping this is your month. Sounding v promising...

iggy - goes without saying that I'm thinking of you and sooo hoping your scan is good today. If it's any kind of reassurance, I had a rubbish weekend as I had a bit of brown spotting on Saturday and Sunday. I was convinced it was all over again and was beginning to prepare myself for the worst. I then had a scan yesterday - as part of the recurrent miscarriage clinic I have been assigned to - and there was my little bean, now at 8 weeks and 4 days and with a good strong heartbeat. The doctors said spotting was very common and nothing to worry about. It's now cleared up and I'm feeling very reassured. Reason for saying this is that I don't want you to give up hope yet. Lots of love to you.
xxxx

Broodzilla · 07/04/2009 09:50

iggy thinking of you today... hope the day goes quickly and that you have good news at the end.

yellow sorry you're feeling rubbish - but hey, you'll have a lovely new lining for next month if AF is having a spring clean this month!

jools all sounds very good... am getting excited for you.
Not long now and you'll be joining the retching choir

Joolsiam · 07/04/2009 09:32

One minute I think I've got symptoms, then I decide I'm imagining it !! Last time I was almost certain because I got things like fizzy nipples, and a definite poking sensation round the belly button - nothing definite like that but my abdomen does feel a little odd and I have had mild cramping / stitch like pain on and off. I also had mildly itchy nipples yesterday. I had the same in Jan / Feb and worked out in the end that the itching was them returning to a pre-MC state. I thought my sense of smell had ramped up a notch last night, but am unsure this morning. Boobs not sore ....

Sooo - nothing definitive but a feeling that something might be going on I wonder if it is because my PG hormones didn't actually disappear till late December - perhaps my body is still "used to" the hormones so is not reacting as violently ? Who knows ! I think Fertility Friend is telling me I can test on Saturday. Trying to ignore the temptation to test earlier - if it IS positive, the longer I leave it, the less time I have to wait for a scan ! I never saw my lost LO in a scan as the MC happened on the day of my dating scan, so I am ridiculously obsessed with getting an early scan next time.

Sorry, am rambling - will shut up and do some work

iggypiggy · 07/04/2009 09:19

mumsnet Work will distract me most of the day I expect!

Any news jools any symptoms?

Joolsiam · 07/04/2009 08:56

OH what a pain - waiting all day Hope work provides some sort of distraction

iggypiggy · 07/04/2009 08:44

Thanks all - appointment is not till 5.30pm so am at work all day again - expect will be a long day

sorry to hear AF bad yellow

Yellowflowers · 07/04/2009 08:34

I have everything crossed for you tomorrow iggy & hope you get the answers you need

funtimewincies · 06/04/2009 18:52

Will be thinking of you tomorrow iggy and keeping everything possible crossed for a good outcome.

Pinkyblue123 · 06/04/2009 17:49

Good luck tommorrow iggy

Sorry AF got you Yellow

Fingers crossed Jools

I sympathise with the MS ladies I suffered terribly with it during all my PG's.

My latest obsession has been Googling day 21 Progesterone test, I am really confused as most places say that a result of 25 indicates ovulation. Plus I had + OPK last month so I really don't know what to think. I have decided it is business as usual and am gearing up for BD action this week. Perhaps one of my eggs will show up for Easter (wink) if not I can always stuff my face with a chocolate one (bwink)

Yellowflowers · 06/04/2009 16:37

4 Months

ray81 · 06/04/2009 16:23

Yellow- there is hope look at me 5 yrs of ttc and its finaly happened. I was so scared after mc in nov that it would take another 3 yrs to fall (thats how long between 2nd mc and one in nov) but it didnt it took 4 and when i look at that in the grand scheme of things it isnt that long.

Have your brought that book 'taking charge of your fertility' i brought it put it all into practice and fell first month it realy is a good book you should try it.

Oh god have to take dd to iceskating lesson in a minute and always get stuck in traffic for 45 mins and feel like total crap (not moaning honestly) just hoping i dont feel the need to puke whilst sat in traffic. perhaps i should take a bucket with me . Have a friend over for dinner tonight sooon and realy dont feel like cooking or eating, may play the sympathy card and get her to cook what a rubbish host i am.
