funtime, what kyte says, step away from the stats, that way madness surely lies!

Witch got me too, so time to start all over again. This month I will be drinking even more grapefruit juice, staying properly hydrated during the day (no OPKs for me this month) and shagging every day from 10 to 20! (well, thats the plan....)

yellow and wasabi, fingers crossed for you both.

And good luck everyone else who is currently mid shagfest or on 2ww.

I've updated the list, havent seen it for a while (and also to add myself to it, hope that's okay)

Funtime don't loose hope I only have one tube & one ovary & managed to conceive
I did temps & sticks for the 3 months leading up to my +ive & I def ovulated all 3 months, so it can happen, my gyne says the remaining ovary makes up for the lost one, same if one is damaged & produces enough eggs each month to keep you in with a chance

funtimewincies · 23/02/2009 19:43

Sorry again, I know that there are women in much worse positions than me, just give a swift slap and a gin and I'll be a right as rain soon.

funtimewincies · 23/02/2009 19:42

The witch arrived today with hald the coven in tow .

Did a very depressing calculation of my ttc chances today.

12 chances a year, but only one tube. Both ovaries kept, so roughly 6 on the tube side. Let's be optimistic and allow for another 2 from the other side, which in theory could make it to the right place by osmosis.

So down to 8 chances a year. Next, take into account that I appear to have on average 4 annovulatory cycles a year. Again, lets be honest and say that 2 of those might be on the missing tube side, so now down to 6 chances.

6 chances a year! I'm not even beginning to take into account the likelihood of another mc and the couple of cycles that it takes me to feel like ttc again.

And so the time passes, in a haze of ttc and mc. Stuck in a limbo of not being able to face giving up but not knowing how long I can keep going for. All just too pants.

Sorry for the self-pitying wallow

flintski · 23/02/2009 19:15

Fingers crossed for you yellow - i have to say that about 6 months ago - i had some spotting on CD21 and thought it might be implantation bleeding but got AF like usual. I nearly didn't type this because i don't want to disappoint you but I know how crap it is to build your hopes up and then they are dashed. It does sound promising though and I really hope it is implantation. wasabi sounds interesting for you too - you do hear of people falling straight after a mc don't you.

Good luck with the diet jools - its sure to make you feel good and that can only help in the bedroom dept (definitely does for me ) - I have no idea when i ovulate - i have sort cycles so my GP says I probably ovulate around CD9-12 but I'm sure sometimes it is the usual CD14-15. OPKs don't seem to work for me so i guess i just have to cover all bases!

Feel a bit more relaxed for the next couple of months too as it would actually be quite awkward to have a baby in Nov or Dec as my husband has his own shop, plus I'm hopefully starting a new job in Sept - thats not to say I won't be over the moon if I am lucky but it does take the pressure off a bit.

got to do some work........

wasabi - that's hopeful. Maybe we should both be hopeful....

Anyone who has had implantation bleeding - does it ever have bits in it - not clotting, but stringy bits?

wasabipeanut · 23/02/2009 14:34

Yellow - don't get miserable hon, this could well me implanatation bleeding. If you're only 10 days po then surely thats quite a likely explanation?

I must admit I have also been wondering myself which is really silly. On Saturday my stomach felt really odd and I've been having comtinued nutty dreams and waking up in a sweat. I've also been having twinges in boob, nips and, erm, fanjo. Sense of smell also on overdrive. Keep telling myself that there must just be more progesterone than usual sloshing around which would account for all of these symptoms but still did a test 1st thing sunday morning - BFN obviously.

Then this morning I had some brown cm. On one hand I think "well it is possible" on the other I think "don't be so bloody silly."

Dunno what to think really. Its been 28 days now since the last of my mc so, I would be due anytime now really.

Funetime and Whatsfortea - sorry to hear yyou're out this month. I will probably be joining you soon.

yellowflowers · 23/02/2009 09:58

thanks jools - don;t know what to think but feeling very miserable about it

Good news on your cycle Kittycat and hang in there Yellow - anything out of ordinary is promising at this stage. Your luteal phase doesn't normally change very much at all, so if you are certain of when you ovulated, what you are seeing could indeed by implantation. Fingers crossed

Hi Flintski - CD9 here - or could be CD10 as AF (quite unusually) started in full flow at around 10pm so I decided the next day was CD1. I'm not really in the mood either - am pretty sure it is because of the 10 pound weight gain since the MC in Nov. Started the Cambridge Diet today and will stick to it religiously till I get that BFP - hopefully the weight will melt away and I'll feel a bit more like BD'ing again - I think Friday will be THE night.

All this talk of jungles - well I'd never trimmed or waxed before now, but all my body hair started growing really fast when I was briefly PG, so I had to get the scissors out - the result wasn't pretty, so I'm eyeing up the Champneys voucher I got for Christmas and wondering whether to ask for a wax down there. I'm quite shy though, and very weight conscious at the mo so I may leave it and treat myself when I have lost some weight

Oh dear, I was just popping in quickly before starting work and have written an essay Happy Monday everyone

yellowflowers · 23/02/2009 09:17

Hello, having a bit of rollercoaster here. Was quietly confident because had very veiny boobs again last night and tingly nipples plus keep having twinges down there. Then went to loo before bed last night and there was blood - pinky brown so I hoped maybe implantation but still some there this morning and this time darker. It's only 10dpo at most.

Morning all.

Sorry funtime and whatsfortea*

My cycle came and went as it should so hurrah to that.

Hope you all had lovely weekends

flintski · 23/02/2009 06:46

Hello all,

apologies for lack of posting - have had a lovely busy half term. Bit of a shock when the alarm went off at 6 this morning though - aren't Mondays hard!

Hello kyte and hang on in there there hopefor and yellow - still a bit early for testing but I can't lecture as always cave myself!!

Sorry funtime and whatsfor - its just such a s**t feeling when AF arrives isn't it (is it for definite?) This time it took me a good few days to start even vaguely feeling positive about TTC again - I hope your DH/DPs are looking after you.

jools - so cycle buddy - how are you feeling. Am on CD7 today so gearing up for a fun week! Am finding getting in the mood tricky especially as going back to work means early starts but I'm sure I'll get in the swing of it soon

anyone else i've forgotten - hello! (its early - sorry!)

yellowflowers · 22/02/2009 19:50

I know - testing way too early. I am very naughty.

I've just ordered a new mattress - am a bit at the price, but tried a few out in the shop and one stood out as most comfy

It will arrive on CD13 - perfect timing for "christening" DP has been a little more interested recently, but no proper BD yet I found some black lacy stuff in the back of the wardrobe that kind of fits - will wheel that out later this week in the hope it makes a difference !

Yello - too early to tell yet - step away from the tests !

Funtime Are you really out ? Maybe still a teeny bit of hope

funtimewincies · 22/02/2009 14:57

Also out this month, BFN on super-sensitive test this a.m. so just waiting for temp. drop and AF.

Got some herb seeds started on the windowsill so that's cheered me up .

Naughty yellow - I shall take away your tests if you don't behave !

whatsfortea · 22/02/2009 13:34

yellow it's still early!!!!

I am out for this month, BFN yesterday and temp dropped today, so AF tomorrow almost certainly. Arses. Feeling pretty low about that.

Am going to see if DH fancies a challenge this month, and try to do every day from Day 10 - at least that way I know we wont have missed a vital day!

yellowflowers · 22/02/2009 10:42

either 8 or 9dpo today and did internet cheapie - was bfn. grrrrrr. too early I know.
