Congratulations broodzilla fab news hello everyone.

whatsfortea · 01/03/2009 17:12

Hi everyone, hope you're all having relaxing weekends.

Big congrats to Broodzilla! That's great news

I dont have any interesting news, just waiting for this months shagfest to start. Have decided that the only way to be sure of doing it at the right time is to do every day - which seems a bit of a daunting prospect right now.... also planning to continue for a couple of days after temps go up as normally stop (in need of a break!) at that point, but you never know..! Well, that's the plan anyway.

yellow, sorry to hear you have been having a confusing time this week. It does sound odd.

So, how is the symptom spotting going with the rest of the 2ww'ers? I have promised myself no early testing this month, I will only test once my temp has stayed high for a day longer than usual. Or unless I start getting mega symptoms of course!

yellowflowers · 01/03/2009 12:10

Hi jools - full of hope for you (and everyone else too).

no news flintski - temp was low again today and spotting has become red and more then spotting though still very light. But this combined with lower temps means it's af. So annoying and feel so silly for getting me (and everyone else) excited. Also weird becausenever had a week of spotting before (starting 8dpo) or temps so high lasting so long. Will add myself to bottom of list tomorrow.

kyte - oh yes, i remember that episode now - am not that bad thankfully and haven't actually resorted to using vicks as a seduction technique! having a banging headache for 5 days has meant a little less action but am hoping we've done enough

Jools - hope your egg makes its presence known soon!! Incidentally, are you all really confident about when you ov? am not temping as am a rubbish sleeper, never seemed to get a positive on opks and can't seem to distinguish ov pains from rumbles in my tummy so largely go on EWCM but as this doesn't really pinpoint ov exactly, I'm always at a loss.

yellow - any more news today?

Joolsiam · 28/02/2009 21:32

How frustrating Yellow

Well, my egg is officially awol. I think this mega low calorie diet I'm on has delayed ovulation Oh well, at least it means we might actually get a BD in before egg arrives !

Almost logged in at midnight lastnight as got undressed and ready for bed and had the mostveiny boobs you can imagine - was so excited.Stopped myself logging in because that way MN obsession madness lies and then this morning, temp had completely fallen (to .02 above cover line) and spotting stepped up a little (though still no need for a pad). Have been crying on dh this morning. Am so very frustrated.
Hope your day better than mine so far.

Morning all,

have been a bit under the weather this week (great timing as due to ov anytime!) hence lack of posts. got a cracking cough courtesy of DD so am already pretty much out for this month unless i recover for tonight - don't think DH would fall for spontaneous whilst I smelt of Vicks!!!

sounds like things are still confusing for you yellow - hope it resolves itself soon. Hang on in there queenie - you never know and iggy, you need to hang on if at all possible (i'm a fine one to talk!)
kyte - lets all hope for BFPs but no morning sickness then!

hi everyone else - hope you are all having lovely weekends.

queenie1 · 28/02/2009 09:49

Oh yellow - how frustrating for you. Guess all you can do now is wait and see what happens.

And iggy - patience...!

I'm about 9dpo today, have no signs whatsoever except for a dull pain in my lower back area which I am assuming is impending AF. Starting to think this baby malarky's never, ever going to happen for me

see I have loads of tests at home... mainly cheapies - but one expensive one too...

I will wait till next week tho - might test on Mon... what do you all think? AF due weds tho maybe wait to see if AF comes first...

yellowflowers · 27/02/2009 11:42

well I have o more tests, cheapies or otherwise, in house. this is good as means I can;t test again. Not going to buy any today so if no period and temp still high on mon will buy one then.

Have had bath, had another wail and now going to get dressed and go to my meeting.

wasabipeanut · 27/02/2009 11:29

Iggy - step away from the tests! You will only be sad when you get a bfn because it is too early! Just a few days to wait

iggypiggy · 27/02/2009 10:38

oh no

am having trouble resisting testing at the mo - is too early tho... AF not due till next week...

yellowflowers · 27/02/2009 09:45

Hi iggy - just did digital one. Not fmu but not had anything to drink yet today so as good as. And is was negative . Guess that is definitive answer and now just have to wait for af to start properly.

OP posts:
iggypiggy · 27/02/2009 09:15

yellow are you going to do a test?

yellowflowers · 27/02/2009 09:13

oooh jools, new mattress! def need to test that out tonight

I have really thick hair too but it is still falling out in shower! In fact just ran hands through it to check while it is dry and at least 3 came away in hand. Am pretty sure not pregnant as FF gives me 5 pts on it's Are-you- pregnant-ometer out of 100!

OP posts:
wasabipeanut · 27/02/2009 09:12

Yellow - I think its time to dig out that digital test. Maybe tomorrow morning with FMU? If you are actualy due tomorrow then you should get a bfp if you are pg.

Oooh while I was typing that my Liz Earle goodies I ordered the other day turned up.

Joolsiam · 27/02/2009 09:09

Yellow - I know you are trying not to get your hopes up, but crying over nothing is a great sign, as is a higher temp.

The key sign for me was that I could have a shower and not end up with my long hair falling out - I only weakened and tested when I noticed that one

I was up before 7am to strip beds, as my new mattress is due between 7am and 2pm - of course it isn't here yet and I wanna go back to bed !!

iggypiggy · 27/02/2009 09:04

Lovely monster - I hate the gym - but I started doing a Box Fit class twice a week in July last year - has made loads of difference - plus my BMI has gone from 26 to 24

yellowflowers · 27/02/2009 09:03

Hi eveyone.

Actually I didn't like the acupuncture yesterday at all (though had liked it before) - don't think I'll go again. Yesterday I just came away with strong feeling it is all cod science and snake oil and that it does nothing.

Still spotting a little bit but not much. Keep waiting for it to become AF. Temp still about .2 degrees higher than it is when AF arrives. Confused but will have to wait. Burst into tears this morning for no reason at all and dh totally confused too and a bit miffed because he was already running late for work.

Thanks Jools. Cambridge diet looks a little full on for me!

My BMI is 33 but unlike you i am not that active! I have been smokefree for two months now (since new year) and have much more energy so hopefully exercise will improve. I have joined the gym but find it very difficult to go on any day other than my days off. I suppose thats better than nothing!
