am starting to worry about my boxfit class... do you think is safe to carry on? I keep reading conflicting advice.. one of them is quite intense... maybe I should tell the instructor and see what he says

funtimewincies · 09/03/2009 17:06

Ahhh, nasty tummy bug all last night and this morning, still feeling foul and a positive ov. test a couple of hours ago. Might just have to grit my teeth, lie back and think of Wales when DH gets home!

Count me in wasabi .

iggy yes i believe so. Hurrah. Can you get a private one earlier?

iggypiggy · 09/03/2009 16:32

wasabi we had a week on the Norfolk Coast recently - is lovely also you sound v. positive which is good - agree with queenie as much as poss worked for me xx

queenie that is good news about the early scan at least is only 2 weeks to wait. I read that I can't have one until 12 weeks as am under 35 and have no issues that mean I would need to have an early scan - but would love the reassurance.

kittycatcat thanks! And watery is good isn't it? means poss fertile time? Or am I wrong?

I just feel wierd at the mo... guess takes some getting used to!

kittycatcat · 09/03/2009 15:47

Thats cool. Two weeks will fly by. Let us know how you get on Will keep my fingers crossed for you. x

Thanks kittycat and wasabi - and thanks for encouraging me last week when I was so sure AF was on it's way!

wasabi - good luck with the BDing. Try to do it as much as possible this week with a crescendo session at the weekend. Me and DH conceived whilst away so lets hope you get lucky this month too.

I've just phoned the recurrent miscarriage unit who told me to get in touch next time I fell PG so as to have an early scan. I've now got one booked for two weeks today. So another two week wait...! My boobs are still sore and feeling very tired (I've just had a one hour nap!) but no signs of sickness. Sensible head says it's very early and you may not get it all all. Irrational, crazy head says something's wrong. Here's hoping for a heartbeat (and some sickness) in 2 weeks time.

Love to all

xx

kittycatcat · 09/03/2009 14:31

Thanks wasabi just been reading up on FF and it's hard to tell what tyoe of CM i have had. Looks like Watery. . Have you any advice on temping? like what to use and do please . Have a lovely weekend in Norfolk. Hopefully you will OV

wasabipeanut · 09/03/2009 14:22

Queenie - YAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!

I knew it - I was so convinced your were pg from what you were describing. I'm so glad you're enjoying it and taking one day at a time. I am so happy for you.

Ray - Welcome! We are cranking out the BFP's sp fast here that we need lots of new joiners! Welcome to our little gang - it is very nice here I promise.

Funtime - fancy a test buddy. We're just 2 days different on our cycle I think - I am CD13 today.

Kittycat - sticky CM is meant to be a post ov type thing but on its own its not a perfect indicator. Temping or doing OPK's would help you to get a handle on it although both do admittedly tend to fuel the ttc obsession. Your call on that one!

No news from me really - still no sign of ov approaching. I have been temping this month as advised by Broodzilla because I knew my cycle was likely to be a bit funny. Still no changes there and my OPK's are still negative. This isn't an issue anyway - dh and I are having lots of fun and we are going away at the weekend for a night on the Norfolk coast near DH's mum and dad so if I happen to ov at the weekend that would actually be quite a result!

I hope those newly pg graepfruit juice drinkers are enjoying their moment and that the rest of us are feeling optimistic too.

xx

kittycatcat · 09/03/2009 14:05

Hello everyone. Just been playing catchup. What cheery news for a monday

Huge congrats to iggy and queenie [whoop]

Yellow - thanks for FF will have a look in a mo.

Iggy grrr re rubbish boss. I don't like mine either so can relate, but at least i don't have to sit near her etc.

I think i have ov'd? sticky but clear discharge...

iggypiggy · 09/03/2009 09:53

funtime - is true - am not feeling sick at the mo - which does make me worry.

Kyte am hopeful for you xx and you're right the rest of the stuff makes up for the rubbish boss

yellow sorry to hear you think it will be a long cycle - but hopefully a lucky one for you x

queenie is def good to be going through these weeks together - I don't even know what to do... wasn't sure when to see doctor etc etc. Like you, my symptoms went (and I started to worry it was cos of horse riding on Sat) but then they came back - and I just generally have strange poking feelings - nothing like peroid pains and occasionaly waves of sickness at the mo.

queenie1 · 09/03/2009 09:31

kyte - thinking of you and hoping you get lucky this month...!

flintski - as kyte says, I was indeed convinced AF was on way this month so don't give up hope yet! It was only once I was three days late that I started to believe I might / could be PG...hang on in there. x

Yesterday afternoon I had no symptoms at all and started to panic but luckily sore boobs came back with a vengence last night. Although I'm trying to be calm and philosophical about what might be, it's hard. iggy and broodzilla - don't know how you both feel but good to be going through these few weeks together. Am off to see my doctor today to get things confirmed and (hopefully) get some reassurance. Also planning to contact the recurrent miscarriage unit and get the early scan booked that I have been promised.

good luck on the BD front funtime and yellowflowers. So hoping this is your month. xxx

yellowflowers · 09/03/2009 08:41

thanks kyte

You're ahead of me funtime - in fact from my temps which are erratic right now I think I'm in for one of my long cycles (39 days or so) with ovulation around day 25. I'm day 9 now so in for a long onewhich is annoying and exhausting because means I have to keep dh interested in shagging that long just in case.

Oooh, does sound promising Kyte, fingers crossed.

Yellow - I'm on day 14 and I usually ov. between day 16 and day 19 (of 28-31 day cycles). Looks like we'll be waiting it out together ! Unfortunately, I'm coming down with another cold, so we'll see if we have the same temping pantomime as last month .

funtime - think we are similar stage. Our BD fest started today.

Lovely sunny day - must go to park...

flintski · 08/03/2009 10:03

morning all. Hope those with a little bit of morning sickness feel alright today - ginger I believe is good for it!

ok so, I promised myself I wouldn't get too excited this month but stupidly have been 'feeling' like i might be pregnant for the last couple of days - not sure why but just little things like being off coffee and alcohol and v sensitive nipples. I even told DH yesterday I thought I might be pregnant!! - well, I feel totally stupid now as feel very premenstrual this morning - spots, lower back pain, feeling of doom and gloom!! Af not really due to Friday or Sat but def feel like I'm out now!! Sorry so to be so down !

funtimewincies · 07/03/2009 19:28

Iggy - it does come and go and I'm afraid that it's a no-win. When you're feeling sick, you just want it to stop and when you're not feeling sick you worry and want the reassurance of feeling sick IFSWIM .

Welcome ray - pull up a cushion, pour yourself a drink and make yourself at home. We'll look after you .

iggypiggy · 07/03/2009 19:10

YAY!!!!! so pleased to read this queenie - I was feeling quietly hopeful for you - such excellent news xx

Welcome ray81 I hope this thread is lucky for you too xx

Broodzilla, Ray & Kyte - thanks for advice/ comments on my boss - she really is a pain - I will not starting listing things she has done, cos it just makes me cross to think about them, but the rest of my team is lovely - and my job is lovely - so don't feel too sorry for me

funtime am liking the image of an orange tashe felling bit better today - so am wondering if is all the excitement and slightly in my head or maybe it comes and goes?

Now got to settle into this 12 week wait... seems so long... but am pleased am on it

Broodzilla · 07/03/2009 18:38

Queenie Fantastic news!!!! How exciting!!
Now we can wait out the next few weeks together.

Welcome Ray it's such a lovely thread, make yourself at home.

Right, I'm off to enjoy a big pint of sparkling water.
Happy Saturday to everyone!

queenie1 · 07/03/2009 18:21

Thanks everyone - had such a surreal day having to constantly pinch myself that it's really happening...!! Hopefully Broodzilla, Iggy and I are the start of a new wave that's going to catch everyone. As yellow says, we will ALL graduate before this thread reaches 999!

welcome ray - I remember reading some of your story on one of the MC threads and feeling really moved by the way you described how you were feeling. Fingers crossed that this is a lucky thread for you too. It's certainly a lovely one. Thanks for advice re early scan. I was told next time I got PG I could have scan at 6-7 weeks so will definitely do that.

Meanwhile just going to enjoy the fact that I've conceived again...
