yellow not sure on the celius as i use feirnheight but a drop at 7dpo can be a good sign. according to ff i had a drop at 7dpo and the massive ise at 8dpo so there is still hope for you yet. with temping i think you are meant to use a thermometer that gives you like 36.8 or in my case 97.8 as that gives you a better idea of what is going on. i have a book called 'taking charge of your fertility' and i have to say it is bloody fantastic i brought the book after 5 yrs of ttc learnt ALOT o things and fell pg first month of putting it all in to practice i would recommend it to anyone.

i did another test last night at about 6ish after i had a a cup of tea and the pg line was stronger than the control line am hoping it is a very good sign.

yellowflowers · 27/03/2009 09:27

ray I completely forgot to say congratulations on your new job. Well done honey.

My temp dropped today (7dpo) and don't feel I'll like yesterday so must have had passing bug, and unlike previous nights I slept through with no need for a middle of the night wee.

whatsfortea - how old are you if you don't mind me asking?

whatsfortea · 26/03/2009 22:11

thankyou wasabi. It's finally hitting home now, so I've made a docs appointment for next week, to drag me and DH off to get some tests done. Should have done it before now really I think, seeing as we're getting on a bit. Before now I didn't really seriously consider that there is anything wrong, especially as I conceived after a few months of trying last year, but it doesnt seem to be happening again.

Fingers still crossed for you, and pinkyblue and yellow, there is still hope, while AF stays away!

wasabipeanut · 26/03/2009 20:15

Oh whatsfortea I'm sorry to hear that.

P1nky - line hasn't arrived yet either! Plus my spotting has stopped. Very odd. I'm not getting the Appletise on ice just yet though as I've been here before.

No other symptoms apart from vile smelling cat food that I actually have to put in the garden because it smells so gross but I've had that for nearly 2 weeks so there's no way that could be a symptom. Sadly the most feasible reason is that my cycle is still messed up.

whatsfortea · 26/03/2009 18:20

Thanks Ray - temp was 36.71 today (up from 36.46 yesterday) but right now I am exhausted and very hot to the touch so I think likelihood is I am coming down with some kind of flu type thing. Have work commitment can't get out of toight including making a speech but just want to go home and sleep.

Yellow, i have to say as queenie did that although am only 4+3 my hair is still coming out and my tea also still tastes ok. How high was your temp today? was it alot higher then the last ones. I had a spike at 7DPO it went up about .8 degrees so could be a very good sign.

I am very tired today, couldnt wake up this morn and have felt like i want to go back to bed all day so hoping it is a sure sign everything is going ok.

Had some good news in that i got offered the job i went for that i didnt want but as now have found out am PG need to get a job otherwise wont get smp which we will need and need money coming in until bean is born. Still praying bean sticks good and hard and doesnt let go. The days are mon, thurs, fri and sat 8am til 6pm so i get 2 days off in the week and sun they are pretty good hrs realy so cant turn it down. start on the 20th april so gives me 3 and abit weeks to spend with DD and 2 of those are easter hols so that will be nice.

Pinky i hope you get BFP soon if Af hasnt arrived there is still a chance. Good luck

Wasabe so sorry Af is on her way hope next month is your month lots of baby dust your way.

Pinkyblue123 · 26/03/2009 16:09

I was expecting AF this AM so it is strange that it is not here. I am not feeling excited though as am pretty sure that AF will be with me soon enough.

yellowflowers · 26/03/2009 15:42

no AF is a good sign Pinkie

That's good re hair queenie.

Pinkyblue123 · 26/03/2009 15:03

Hi Ladies, well no AF I was expecting her this morning. I am not feeling PG though and BFN with First response couple of days ago is a big clue that I have not been successful this month!

I too have enjoyed more cups of coffee than usual today - well I may as well live a little

queenie1 · 26/03/2009 14:30

yellow - my hair is still coming out in shower and I'm nearly 7 weeks PG! so don't write yourself off yet because of that...

wasabi and whatsfortea - sorry to hear you think AF is on it's way. I hope you're wrong.

xx

yellowflowers · 26/03/2009 10:30

waves at whatsforteas and wasabi.

Well high temp today (6dpo) but usual fistfuls of hair coming out when I washed it in shower so probably not pregnant as I know one of the signs is hair stops coming out. Grumble grumble. Plus my tea this morning tasted as delicious as it ever does.

wasabipeanut · 26/03/2009 08:57

Hi Whatsfortea - you and me both! My AF hasn't showed yet but am getting a little brown spotting which means it is sure as hell imminent. Expecting her today. Bitch.

Glad someone is still posting - we are very quiet lately!

Well after getting soaked taking ds to nursery (well, walking back from nursery to be more accurate) I have cheered myself up with a secnd cup of coffee. No point going easy on the caffiene now. And I am going to have the rest of camembert sitting in my fridge for lunch!

whatsfortea · 25/03/2009 19:42

Hi everyone, it's been ages since I posted, am almost too embarrassed to come back again! . I kept putting it off til I had time to write a proper post but that never seems to happen.

Anyway..... flipping heck, how many BFPs??!!! Huge congrats to everyone, it's been an amazing month on that score. I would love to say that I have one too, but alas, no, not this month for me. Not that AF is here yet, but expecting her arrival on Friday or Saturday. Have absolutely no symptoms and a string of BFNs since last weekend, so am gutted. But, am now planning next months BD strategy already. Looks like I'll be busy over the Easter weekend!

sifuentes · 25/03/2009 13:49

Hi ladies - our thread has the very catchy title of "july august where is (etc etc)"

swing by whenever you fancy it! x

yellowflowers · 25/03/2009 12:27

Hi sifuentes - how many people on your thread? Maybe we should merge threads for the next one (though of course as title says we will all have graduate by then!! I wish...)

Well I am feeling sick right now - this could have been because I have just eaten lots of chocolate raisins. I also woke in middle of night last night to pee but this is not that unusual in itself (as in if I wake up in middle of night I usually have to pee though most nights I don't wake up). Yesterday I was so tired I had to have sleep when I got hom before dinner.

But I am only 5 dpo so probably just a bug - in fact am sure just bug as feel generally quite grotty.

wasabipeanut · 25/03/2009 11:36

Hi Sifuentes - thanks for dropping in! Where's your thread then? Not that I'm thinking of jumping ship but I think I can keep up with 2 threads.

Hopefor - so sorry to hear that your cycle is torturing you like this. I hope that you get your BFP soon but that your specialist can help you. (btw - 8th March has been and gone quite some time ago!)

Hope everyone else is having a good day x

hopeforbundleofjoy · 24/03/2009 20:17

this is driving me up the wall now i want a bfp OR af!!!!!!!!

sifuentes · 24/03/2009 16:41

Hello everyone

I always read your thread because I like it but am gatecrashing briefly today to say hi to Wasabi My post MC cycles have been totally weird and unrecognisable. This is the first one that feels normal (i had mmc in December - similiar to jools) and i have been taking secial supplements and i had acupunture!

I have also read that the post MC fertility thing is in fact cobblers. The later the MC the longer you take to get back to normal. Your body knows when it's ready. But I know how disappointing it is when AF shows up and how much you just want to be preg again. also echo Jools really and say that it knocked me for 6 far more than I anticipated. MC just is a big hit for your body. Not forever though. You will get lucky soon, you'll see

Yellow and Wasabs and Jools (and all other TTCers) Please feel free to pop in on our thread if you get a bit thin on the ground around here. We're all in a pretty similar boat and we are definitely not an exclusive club.

I think you have a few BFPs who want to stick around here for a while however and I certainly wouldn't want them to be without a home so I am not suggesting you all disband or anything (congrats to all of you!!)just an open door policy (yikes now i am resorting to office gobbledook - time to leave!)

ttfn xx

Pinkyblue123 · 24/03/2009 16:29

Oh no how unsubtle Wasabi

wasabipeanut · 24/03/2009 16:07

That was the worst if it through Pinky - I didn't mention it! My mother somehow worked it into the conversation!

Pinkyblue123 · 24/03/2009 16:02

Wasabi your mum sounds as tactful as mine I just don't bother talking to mine about this sort of stuff anymore as I know she will come out with the same sort of stuff that your mum did.

The thing is it is really hard for people to understand what it is like to have a MC, they expect you to just get over it really quickly. I found that the only people who have talked to me about it are people that have been through a similar thing. My mum has not mentioned it since it happened (she probably thinks it will upset me and is not very good at emotional stuff)

Jools you are certainly not a basket case!

yellowflowers · 24/03/2009 15:56

Hi wasabi - people can be so insensitive, even our mothers. (especially our mothers).

friend of mine miscarried at 12 weeks and bled for three months afterwards so not surprised how it can still affect you for so long. and there is huge dearth of info about it out there
