Yellowflowers I remember on my TTC pre MC, when I was on the two week wait I would sometime sob, its all the emotion of what you are trying to achieve and how exhausted you are in then waiting to see if you have achieved. Then I would get down when AF arrived but then some how pick myself up and go through the bd fest again!! It seems like it is a circle? I guess it is the cycle of our TTC life smile I think its good to cry its better out then in. I think we all block so much pent up frustration inside that sometimes our body needs to have a release. Have you tried doing some relaxation exercising i.e. slow breathing to relieve the stress? If you are exhausted take sometime ? take a long weekend break doing absolutely nothing. Let us know how the tests go?. And good luck

LovelyMonster I always had thick sticky EWCM and it did blob every now and again. Don?t worry about the blighters not getting through as they will. I saw a documentary on the conception thingy it was admazing to see how well the sperm swam when there was more EWCM. I would get bding if I was you as you are most fertile when you see that sign, if you are past the bding stage then sometimes it is a sign that either you may be pg or that your AF is due. Oh the weather is going to be glorious this weekend, just ready for the Marathon. I have a friend running and they have been told its gonna be hot!! Congratulations on the second anniversary? Cindy raises a glass of champers too!

I hope you all don?t mind but I started a new thread?.. can?t do the link but its called?. Come and find its called:-

TTC any which way DP CM BT OPK Grapefruit drinking .... If anyone can do the links then great...that would help everyone

yellowflowers · 21/04/2009 22:13

Hey yellowflowers (ditto with name!)
mmm its weird isn't it. have noticed it on a few occasions. probably linked to diet or something?? This month I am totally chilling. we are in the process of having some bloods done and dh sperm tested (much to his delight!). I have decided that this month will not be the month as really want to complete all the tests (last time had tests was actually pg but did not realise then mc a week later).

Taking it easy and living life to the fullest including lots of non baby focused bding. Today is our 2nd wedding anniversary and enjoying bubbles, choc and about to be taken out for an italian.my dh is about to get real lucky tonight!!!

one of my friends went to hells kitchen last night. im so !

yellowflowers · 21/04/2009 17:56

Hi lovelymonster (I so love your username)

I've had the big jelly blob thing a couple of times before and also had it thinner for longer. Uh, that doesn't help I know, but think both are normal.

I think the times I've had the blob ewcm were times I ovulated later (some cycles are 30 days, some up to 38) so perhaps it as had more time to accumulate?

LovelyMonster · 21/04/2009 17:21

Hi everyone,

Yellow - its funny isn't it! Even the strongest of people can be overtaken by emotions. I have found myself weepy over nothing including deal or no deal. One thing that I have learnt is that ttc play absolute havoc with your emotions. Sometimes giving in and having a good old sob can do wonders!
I hope you are feeling better now .

hope everyone else is having a nice day in this wonderful sunshine (may it please last the weekend - dh turning 30 and have organised an outside table at local pub..).

Quick question- What should ewcm consistency be?? It normally hangs around for two day but today very gluggy like giant jelly like blob . Hard to imagine anything being able to swim thou it!?!? Usually a lot thinner. any thoughts???

yellowflowers · 21/04/2009 16:42

Hello all (especial big hello to cindy and iggy)

We're nearly at 999 messages - someone else's turn to start new one... sorry my optimistic thread title didn't work!

Good stuff jools and fab news smiley and everything crossed for wasabi.

We are still BDing - as not temping no idea where in cycle I am except I am day 16 (max cycle length is 38).

But... am not well. Hurts to swallow, am knackered, sinuses hurt...

Last night dh home late and I was home alone and I just sat on sofa and wailed - literally sobbing in little moans. Was fine as soon as he was home. was so odd. Please don;t worry - not having a breakdown. I may be tired and emotional...

C1ndy - doing that diet signalled my post MC recovery I think - before that, I was moping and had no focus. Doing something positive gave me back that focus and I suddenly felt really energised, with a goal in life that wasn't TTC Just make sure you drink at least the 2.25 litres of water they tell you to glug - it really makes a difference - to complexion and EWCM if nothing else . One day at the gym, I started having blurred vision and I'm told it was dehydration - you need to compensate for the water you don't get through food

Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere I seem to be a regular on 3 established threads and 2 antenatal ones (Dec09 and Knicker Checkers) but can't leave here - we only have 42 more posts before we all graduate anyway

iggypiggy · 21/04/2009 15:29

C1ndy I plan to wait at least a month...ie. after AF arrives - my head isn't ready to start trying again and I'll see how I feel after AF.

C1NDY · 21/04/2009 15:25

Wasabi (big hugs) goush, I can't believe what has happened it was my second MC... oh, well that's life. I was terriably upset and I really do get so upset at moments but its life... I can either mop about it or do something positive i.e. ttc. I am dreading doing the TTC again, but with you ladies on the journey makes it so much fun. WEll all my fingers and toes crossed for you, sounds promising!!!

kittycatcat · 21/04/2009 15:24

oops typo sorry Jules

C1NDY · 21/04/2009 15:20

Jools Cool, I can't wait to start, I thought by July I will be refreshed and ready to start this TTC larky again. I am so so happy for you. Just relax and enjoy and the early scan will put your mind at ease. When I get pg again I will also insist on having an early scan done to ease my mind. I am going to miss you though, so don't disappear to GFJ thread forever you must pop in here and tell us all the gossip.

Iggy Looks like we are both in for the AF wait. I think its the first time I am looking forward to it arriving FF has kept all my data which is good. How are you feeling in general. I feel like I need to wait till July before ttc which really its just around the corner but you never know I may start earlier...

kittycatcat · 21/04/2009 15:00

Hi wasabi - yes resisted ...eeeeeeeeeee
Fingers crossed for you!

Hi Iggy Whatsfortea[waves] jukes great news re the scan.

Joolsiam · 21/04/2009 14:54

Wasabi - I am NOT going to slap you - I am going to cheer you on

I was probably 60% certain by 7DPO each time that my body was not doing the normal pre AF things and something was afoot - I am convinced that it is indeed possible to know that early.

Other early signs - insomnia / vivid dreams / creamy CM - any of those yet (oh that sounds a bit wierd, sorry )

Not feeling icky today apart from very vague nausea when walking to the GP. However, I'm working from home and have stuffed my face with fresh baked M&S cheese scones and the last of the Easter choc today, so I guess the constant eating and lack of stress / exercise helps that one ! Boobs are definitely sore though and feel fuller, although I'm still not yet filling a C cup

I surprised myself by bursting into a fairly violent fit of tears when talking to the GP about the MC - she made me talk her through what happened - it helped I think - hopefully I'll stop having nightmares about it

iggypiggy · 21/04/2009 14:14

Wasabi cross posted! I was wondering where you were i have everything croseed for you this month xx

wasabipeanut · 21/04/2009 14:12

Ray and Smiley thats great news on both of your scans. Good to see that some of us have managed to graduate from the grapefruit massive with honours!

C1ndy what can I say my lovely? I was so sorry to see that post of yours a few weeks ago but am relieved for you that its over now and that you can look to the future. You sound very strong which is great but just remember that we are here if and when you want to vent and rant and rage at the bitter unfairness of it all. I really needed that when I had my mc and in the aftermath. Come to think of it I still have my sad and angry moments even now.

Iggy are you out there? how are you?

Kitty I hope you have stayed firm and not tested early. The anti early test police will be on your case if not! Only a couple of days to go....

Jools hope you are/aren't (delete as appropiate) feeling too green!

Well I am getting all excited as I had a temp dip this morning and have had some pinky brown CM today. I am about 7 or 8 days PO I think. I am getting all convinved it is implantation. Somebody slap me please.

Hard.

iggypiggy · 21/04/2009 14:10

Thanks for the info pinky is useful to know. x

Am also on FF - I did change over to Preg FF, but just logged back in to normal FF and added int he MC details - so now it looks like I had a 66 day cycle!

C1indy glad to see you back xx I have no idea when my AF might turn up.. guess will just wait and see

smiley lovely news about having a girl

Jools excellent news about the early scan request - looking back am v. glad I had mine cos I actually fell off my horse the day before the MC happened - as I already knew that I was going to have an MC I didn't worry that falling off the horse did it. Although I only fell off the horse cos I was feeling so rubbish and wasn't concentrating... oops! Anyway - yours will be good news - but just generally am pleased I had it and would have one again. xx

Big hello to everyone else - including funtime, Wasabi, Yellow, Whatsfortea, ray and kittycat

Joolsiam · 21/04/2009 13:19

Hi C1ndy - yes, I thought Cambridge was a fantastic diet - really suited me as I could just forget about food and concentrate on losing weight The first few days are hard, but after that, you're not even hungry, and the weight loss can be quite spectacular. There is a chat room attached to the Cambridge web site - I used that a lot for help and advice but there is also a support thread on MNet in the weight loss section. I'm still finding it odd eating real food and feeling a little odd about putting 4lb back on in a week, even though I know most of that is bloating - have blown up like a balloon today

I had to do what you are doing to Fertility Friend aswell - then realised recently that I really could have done with keeping the info in my pregnancy diary to compare with this one - I just deleted it all as I couldn't bear to look at it ...

All booked in with the GP now and early scan request has been submitted ....

C1NDY · 21/04/2009 13:13

Just waiting for my AF to return again, but I guess it may take a while

Jools just to let you know I read a couple of your posts weeks back and that you had started the Cambridge Diet, I am off to see a Counsellor tonight... would like to lose 3 stones, and it sound great. Do you recommend it? I suppose the vitamins in the pack will get me back on my feet and also drinking the correct water?

Whats4tea Hi yar. I will have to reacquint (is that how you spell it??) myself with everyone again! What cycle are you?

KittyC@t hi I remember you joined us when i got my bfp.

I am on FF and am re-shaping it back to Fertility rather than using the pg web-page. I am getting everything ready for the TTC... luckily I saved all my ovualation sticks that i got off the internet, was going to give them away!! silly ole me.

Well as you know I am 40 now, so the race will be on again to try and have a little one by next year. It will happen, I know it will.... ...

whatsfortea · 20/04/2009 19:24

iggy really glad to hear you are starting to feel better and had a nice weekend.

C1ndy, really glad you are feeling better too and staying positive.

pinkyblue, I am also a bit obsessed with FF, and have just put my temp in for this morning. I paid for 6 months when I started using it and I also got some free days by following a link somewhere, although not entirely sure how that happened! It's been a bit annoying this month though as one minute it was telling me I O'd last Tuesday, and then after a couple more days it changed its mind and put it 2 days earlier on the Sunday - which would be far better timing for the BD action but now I dont know what to think. Just wait and see I suppose and try to resist my ever increasing urge to start the POAS stage of things!

kittycat sounds exciting, fingers crossed for you for Thurs/Fri, at least it's only a few more days

yellow hope the BD fest is still going strong!

funtimewincies · 20/04/2009 18:50

Congrats Smiley! I'm determined not to find out, but I might well crack when the time comes !

kittycatcat · 20/04/2009 16:52

Great willpower jools am impressed

i will try to resist

Joolsiam · 20/04/2009 16:41

I paid up for a year quite recently and have around ten months left I never temped, but enjoyed putting in all my symptoms so I could recognise what false PG symptoms kept getting my hopes up

Don't test yet Kittycat - be strong. Early testing is fraught with stress and disappointment. I was 2 days late when I tested - couldn't believe I held out that long
