What do I mean ttc3 - very wishful thinking ttc 2 actually!

soosy · 21/01/2009 18:50

Found you all! Glad to hear you are all well and that HC has her BFP. I am thrilled for you. I am still umming and arring about next cycle. DS was 4 yesterday and I feel terribly sad and happy at the same time, as he may be my only baby and it is all going so fast now.

Hi all

Cramping is horrendous but I've just done another PG test and it is much brighter than the one on Monday but I will just have to wait until tomorrow to see if AF arrives and also see what my temp is. Symptoms don't seem as prominent so I don't know what to think. Hate the waiting. Was distraught this morning and DH upset at pending arrival of AF and ended up telling my mum as was crying.

detox-hope you aren't worrying as scan dates do vary sometimes with dates.

Willmouse-how did it go?

Hope everyone else is OK.

major Im gonna go with the every other day theory this time soon as AF goes, i done OPK yesterday and there was a very faint line but today there is nothing !! Not sure if i should trust them, they tell me one thing and my body tells me another !!!

HC Hope you are ok, thought about you all day x

Hooray, shiny new thread. Thank you.

Go Willmouse! PMSL at 'fannying around'.

Much like CE getting a tad too whacked to keep up (not complaining mind) - so sorry! . Reading several times/week though.
This thread is/has been wonderful for my mental health and I'll be damned to give it up.

oh and Bellie-cannot wait to hear your impending news!

majormoo · 21/01/2009 14:05

HC hope all is OK.
Detox-heartbeat is a really good sign surely. Hope all goes well in two weeks.
Dawni really really hope this is your month.
MJIM never been one for dieting myself, but hope you reach your target weight. BUT you are still breastfeeding so no over-doing it!
Willmouse-hope the procedure is OK today. When TTC I would also go with the every other day approach. Not sure about the ovulation predictors-I have been pregnant 5 times (though obviously twice it didn't work out) and sometimes have used them, sometimes have not. It hasn't made any difference to how quickly I got pregnant.
CE hope OFSTED OK.
Juanitad hope jabs were all right too.

Hi to everyone else.
We are fine-I am just very busy getting used to juggling three children.Really hope the thread isn't still making people feel down with too much baby/pregnancy talk.

Detox, I am sure that everything is going to be fine - the heartbeat is the most important thing at this stage.

HC - keeping my fingers crossed for you - have never done temping, so can there be another reason for it?

CE - glad to see you back on here (as another one that lost the ability to mn for a while) and sorry that ofstead have got you at the worst possible timing.

Dawni - about the car - hope not too expensive!

Ceebee - well done on the weight loss - I may be joining you and Mjim on the site once beanie has arrived!!

Off to do the ironing to make sure that I keep on top of it all.

Morning ladies

HC - am keeping everything crossed for you.

Have just had scan at EPU - saw the sac and a heartbeat , however have to go back in 2 weeks as she measured me to be less than 5 weeks pg . Now, my cycles are long, but af was last on 28.11.08 and we last bd'd on 21.12.08 (4+3 weeks ago) (pg puts me off a bit!!) so can this be true? Happy to see the hearbeat, but now worried it's too small.

Dawni · 21/01/2009 10:52

Hi ladies, home on a quick cuppa break, dont have long

HC Im gobsmacked, hope to goodness this isnt AF, keeping everything crossed for you hun....

Hit a huge pothole this morning, need to go the garage after work !!!

Hope everyone else is well and willmouse is doing ok xx

Much love

D xx

CE - good to see you back! I also found myself v tired and a bit stressed after 30 weeks, so I gave up this thread and my antenatal one, I just couldn't keep up with either of them! And like you, we got the OFSTED call 3 weeks before my maternity leave, talk about bad timing!! I was so worried about it, but in the end it was fine and to be honest it felt good going on mat leave knowing Ofsted had been and gone and that they wouldn't be seeing a supply teacher do my classes, it felt like all the loose ends had been tied up. Ofsteds are much better now than they used to be - they are only in for 2 days. Only 1 of my lessons was observed, and only for half an hour. So just try not to worry about it too much, it'll be over soon and then you'll feel loads better and you'll really be able to begin the countdown to mat leave!! What date do you finish?

P's jabs weren't too bad in the end, although he did have a couple of hours screaming before bed time last night.

HC - really hope it's not AF arriving, I don't really understand temps, but could there be any other reason for a dip?

Ceebee74 · 21/01/2009 09:02

HC but really hope you are wrong! I will keep everything crossed for you.

MJIM would you believe the website has crashed - I just keep getting a message saying the bandwidth limit has exceeded (too many users I think). Am panicking as I have become reliant on the website to keep my eating in check!! As soon as it is sorted I will link it for you.

PCH my tip for sickness is Foxes Glacier mints - I couldn't have got through my pg without those!! I carried them everywhere and when I felt the nausea was really bad, I sucked one of those and it definitely eased it! I am still finding the odd one now in strange places as I literally put them in every bag/pocket etc during those first few weeks

Right, Sam has done a lovely pressie for me in his nappy so must go and change him then I am going to do an exercise DVD to shift this flab!!

HumphreysCorner · 21/01/2009 08:07

On a downer this morning as temp has dropped so fear AF will arrive tomorrow as planned. It will be a cruel blow but I shouldn't have tested early. Had some watery CM yesterday which isn't a good sign. Ho hum!

Anyway, will be thinking of you today Willmouse.

Laters.

can anyone help me - i had a coil fitted 3 years ago and since have started getting terrible acne, especially on my chin! does anyone else suffer with this or am i 1 on my own? x

Ceebee74 · 20/01/2009 21:20

Ha ha found you all - you have been chatty today - taken me ages to catch up!!

MJIM - hope Naomi is on the mend - damn teeth eh! I am sure you don't need to diet but I started dieting at the beginning of January (have lost 6lb so far ) and am using a website where you log all the food you eat, exercise that you do and it calculates how many calories you are allowed each day - have found it fantastic as it really concentrates your mind on how much to eat etc. If you want the link, let me know.

CE poor you with the OFSTED - talk about bad timing! 30 weeks plus - it does start to get hard but just keep thinking about all the time you will have to sleep once you finish work! I know you said before but did someone paint the mural in your nursery?? WE are going to do Josh's new bedroom soon and want to go for a jungle theme so wondered how you went about getting that painting.

Bellie lol at them giving you a leaflet for claiming that money! The baby will be here before you know it.

Willmouse good luck tomorrow - hope it isn't too painful for you

Hi to everyone else

Not much going on here - Josh still being hard work with Sam - I think I am going to have to literally lock them in different rooms soon if his behaviour doesn't improve

Dawni · 20/01/2009 21:08

Oh MJIM Poor DS {{sending hugs}} hope he is better soon.... the curry was beautiful and i mopped the plate with a garlic naan bread

Majormoo You've not been on a while, hope your well xx

HC Laughed at MIL though not really funny, i cant beleive she didnt see or feel summat that size !!!!

Gonna watch the programme we recorded last night...the one with Suranne Jones, it was very good last week

Much love

D xx
