CE - I am 20 mins away if i do go into labour tonight, but the midwife did say if the snow was really bad to call an ambulance as at least we get stuck I would have paramedics there not just dh!

Feel happier that mum and dad are here as there is now about 10cm of snow on the ground and it is still falling

welcome to luckysalem - I was like you as dd just arrived, but we had to work for this beanie! Good luck and hope that you enjoy being with us!

HumphreysCorner · 01/02/2009 21:25

Hello and welcome LuckySalem. Wishing you lots of luck.

Am stuffed and think I managed to fool everyone apart from mum and dad as they know. Mum kept dropping me in it though so I'm sure DH must know I've told her. Just don't want him telling his mum just yet.

Must get the girls to bed.

Thanks for the welcome choc & detox.
I'm really looking forward to this TTC lark as I never actually TTC'd with DD she just appeared

So CD4 it is then. ooh i'm so excited, I've never taken notice of my AFs before so dont know how long a cycle I have or anything - feel like a complete newbie even with DD

detoxdiva · 01/02/2009 17:28

Luckysalem - welcome, hope this thread is lucky for you. You count the first day of AF as CD (cycle day) 1 - so you are on CD4 now by the sounds of it.

Hello to everyone else - had a mega lunch out today, so feel very full and very tired The extreme tiredness is the only symptom so far - goodness knows how I will get through work tomorrow afternoon as I have been asleep every afternoon since Fri!!

Not long now Bellie...

ChocolateEclair · 01/02/2009 17:24

Hi everyone!

You lot talking about Indian/Chinese have tempted me so I am dropping a you quick post while DP is out picking up my spring rolls/sweetnsour/prawn crackers! I feel very greedy but no doubt will only be able to eat about 1/4 of it!

Bump is very uncomfortable today and have hardly slept. Have had a VERY lazy day! Think it is due to baby's head and limbs being so high up in my ribs - I can hardly breathe!

We have had a few flakes of snow but expecting more tomorrow. (Whispers...another snow day off school would be lovely! lol!)
Bellie - do you have far to get to hospital if labour does start in the night???

BSL - hope your difficult weekend has been ok. I too used to have "the dream" and it is awful when you wake up and realise.....

willmouse - your poor ds1, fingers crossed for ds2.

So is everyone on the 2ww now then?????? OOOO very exciting!

Welcome to LuckySalem - please stick around! We need mroe ttc-ers to keep this thread going as we have been extremely successful and have loads of pg ladies!

MJIM - I read your other thread and thought you got some good advice! How is it going? Can she be persuaded to take more milk?

HC - xmas dinner! Yum yum!

LuckySalem · 01/02/2009 17:03

Hi all,

Can I join in? Me and DP are (unactively) trying for DC2.
Dd is now 1 year old and we dont want a huge gap. We dont want the same birthday for them so wont be trying in April but any other month is good enough for us.

Not sure what else to tell you really. You need to help me with certain wording. lol. Looks like my AF is finishing today so is that day one of my cycle or is it day 4?

Anyways... hope to get to know you all better!!

Bellie · 01/02/2009 16:58

Oh willmouse, I am sorry that he is suffering so badly, wishing that he gets better soon, and that ds2 doesn't get it!

HC - hope you are enjoying your lunch

My parents are arriving soon as we have all decided that it is better for them to be here than having to travel (one and a half hours) in the snow that is forecast!

got lower back pain again but nothing major at the moment!

Hi all

Popping on quickly here - DS's chicken pox has been really bad. He has them in his nose, ears, eyes, hair, groin and bottom. Poor lad seems a bit better today so I hope we will be over the worse by tomorrow. Then all I have to do is wait for DS2 to catch it!

Dawni - glad you are feeling better

Bellie - hope your beanie arrives soon.

HC - good luck not looking green in front of family

Hi to everyone else esp MJIM - I'm sure Naomi is perfect and as long as she is happy I really wouldn't worry!

HC Hope you have a nice lunch

D xx

HumphreysCorner · 01/02/2009 11:11

Soon, very soon Bellie.

Dawni-I see that FF has you OVing on Thursday. It does need a few charts to gather info and we do need to see the next few days temps. FF does alter OV day sometimes depending on future temps.

Bluestar-how is your friend. I am sorry you had 'that dream'. Had it many times before.

Off to my mum and dad's for a post Christmas Dinner later. Feel very nauseous though but don't want to give the game away to my bro and SIL.

Love to all!

Morning all,

Bellie - hope things get going soon!!!

Fingers crossed it's not AF, Dawni.

Yay for the CB PG test, HC! So happy you can start to relax now

Having a tearful morning...despite being pleased about not being PG this month, I dreamt I was PG last night...woke up and of course I wasn't. Having a 'I hate the world and it's not fair' morning. Got to try not to be ridiculous as our friends who lost their baby are with us!

Just needed to come and vent! Cos no one else really understands...

sorry girls looks like it was a false alarm!

Went to bed about 10ish still with some lower back ache, but thought I would try and get some rest - and woke up at 7 this morning with no pain or anything! Best nights sleep I have had for 9 months and I still feel knackered!!

HumphreysCorner · 31/01/2009 20:43

Hello again,

hope everyone is having a good sat night and that you enjoyed your indian dawni. Yumm! We have just come back from having a chinese - dd just loves it and even tried chopsticks tonight!

Have some lower back pain, but just a dull ache at the moment! Will keep you posted!

Dawni · 31/01/2009 17:11

Spoke to soon, aching like mad, going to stay positive longer than last month though, going for an Indian now

D xx

HumphreysCorner · 31/01/2009 14:59

Dawni-easily could be OV pains. Eventually you will know what your body is doing. I am 39 and until I started charting I had no idea I was producing CM and that I got certain pre AF symptoms. 'Tis amazing how FF enlightens you. Now don't forget to put all those spotted symptoms down on your chart so that FF can give you points to how PG you might be once you have had OV confirmed.

MJIM-hope things are OK with you and enjoy your haircut.

Off out in a mo but far too tired to even get ready.

Thankyou ladies with the help, i am symptom spotting like you would'nt believe { well you would !!} The AF type pains are'nt as strong, they come and go and go for ages when the last few months they arrive around CD17 and are strong for the whole 2ww, now CD19 and not much to report...going back to tuesday HC I had terrible stabbing pains and laid on the sofa, could that have been you know what ?? this time last 2 cycles i had blood spots in discharge, but nothing yet...i am probably doing your head in here and to much reading into things, but time will tell

Hope everyone is very well and having a nice day

Bellie · 31/01/2009 14:50

hello all - sorry to disappoint you but am still here - have had a very lazy morning - didn't get dressed until 11.30 and have just been shopping for a new video camera to film beanie when they eventually arrive!!

mjim - please try not to worry - easier said than done I know, and hope that you have a nice relaxing time at the hairdressers.

Enjoy your quiet house ceebee - what a lovely DH and MIL to give you some time back!

CE - I hate to think how much I weigh now - I have been addicted to chelsea buns from our local baker for the last month or so and certainly put all the weight on!

Dawni - glad to hear that your bum has recovered!!

Off to play fairies with dd but will try and get back in bit.
