Good luck Bellie!

MrsPuddleduck · 05/02/2009 09:28

Hi!!!!

Bellie - good luck! I am predicting girl - we need another on the thread! Or perhaps you could all save that pleasure for me I could do with some female company - and Dawni too I bet!

Dawni- glad you're back and more positive. Spotting seems to have stopped a bit here but am not going to let myself get even slightly optimistic ever again. From now on I am going to remain calm until AF is actually due.

MJIM - hope DH got home OK. The snow is quite bad here but I managed to get DS1's little butt to school !!!

Detox - so happy for your that your scan went well. Hope your DD hasn't caught the chicken pox bug which seems to be spreading via the internet LOL!

HC - sorry you're not feeling so good. Are you eating or starving yourself to feel better? Remember whatever you eat now to make yourself feel better you will never be able to face again when the morning sickness goes - so make sure it's not anything vital like chocolate

Ceebee - glad things have calmed down. You are probably better off with another boy than a girl - I have spent three days listening to my two chopping away at eachother with swords - they get on so well. DS1 would HATE a girl LOL! He is very in touch with his male side for one so young and anti all things remotely female!

Right - off to look at the weather forecast. Can you believe DS1 has a birthday party tonight which is still going ahead (his best friend's so he has to go) - and another on Sunday here we go again.....

pureeandpearls · 05/02/2009 08:48

Good luck Bellie xx

Bellie · 05/02/2009 08:24

CE - thanks for the best wishes!! Am sitting here like a cat on a hot tin roof! Had to ring at 7am to find out what time to go in only to be told "we are the night staff and we don't know, someone will call you back later" .

Pain in the neck as I can't eat or drink anything - not what you want at 41 weeks pregnant!!!!!!

Still I am sure it will all work out fine!

Will let you know as soon as possible what is going on and whether you have all predicted the boy right!!

MJIM - I hope that dh got home ok last night xx

ChocolateEclair · 05/02/2009 07:41

doh - you must be NOT I am(I'm half asleep!)

ChocolateEclair · 05/02/2009 07:39

Just a quickie to say "Happy Birthday!" to bellie's baby! Good Luck with everything today - I am so excited after all this time wanting and trying and waiting for him/her. In a few hours it will all be worth it hey! xx

Detox great news about the scan and fab EDD - you'll not forget that in a hurry will you?

Dawni glad you are still here - would have missed you if you had gone - chin up eh?

bellie (if you are still around) good luck tomorrow - hope it all goes well and can't wait to hear the news of the newest addition to our Bonkers family

Had a lovely day today - just pottered round with Sam and then we both went to my bed for a 2-hour nap this afternoon I love days like this but also love Josh coming home from nursery aswell.

Seem to have got over the problems with Josh now (touch wood) - the reward chart seems to have worked. He reached his first target today and got a Diego game for his computer which he was dead chuffed with - and we have gone 2 weeks now without any 'incidents' between him and Sam... I often wonder if he would have been the same if Sam had been a girl or whether he would have instinctively been more caring

Dawni · 04/02/2009 20:43

Detox Excellent scan, cool EDD....sorry to hear your DD not well, hope she's better soon xx

Hi all

Just a flying visit as dd has been poorly all day with a temp & complaining of a bad tummy Dh has been off today, but we are keeping her off nursery tomorrow and doing a half day each. She's just laid on he sofa all day whimpering. Completely off her food which is a sure sign she's unwell. Hopefully the Medised and Nurofen will help us all get a better nights sleep tonight.

On a brighter note, I had my follow up epu scan today and all is well . Measured as 9 weeks with an edd of 9.9.09. Saw a wriggly little bean with a strong hertbeat and the buds where the limbs are forming already - amazing! Has put my mind at rest a lot.

Love and thanks to all

D xx

HumphreysCorner · 04/02/2009 18:05

Have had no internet all day until now.

Dawni, belgianbun and Willmouse-so sorry it is not looking positive for you all this month.

puree-sorry about the BFN.

MJIM-good to hear Naomi has progressed into 0-3 months.

Bellie-I think you are having a boy and not long to find out.

Sorry to moan about my MS but it is yucky. Twins would be not good having already got 2 DC. I have heard that you show sooner with twins so if I get that far will monitor that.

Big wave and hugs to all.

Gosh its quiet here, is everyone OK???

I am feeling so stressed here. I swear to God I will kill DS1 if he shouts "muummy!" again. Apologies for being so vile but over the last three days if he has said it once he has said it a hundred times.

I am desparate for DH to come back from work and then I am off for some quality me time at Asda

Arrgghh - just had a text from the teacher again re childcare - I think I am going to tell her my plans straight and make her come to her own decision. Quite smug about the fact that she is desperate for me to take her children on - I know she has done the rounds around local childminders!

I am also about to phone school and see if DS1 can go back to save me the trouble of having to dig a shallow grave this evening .......

The one good thing about the spotting is that I am now on a mission to take my mind off things and have got my list of things I really ought to do before OFSTEd give me the call!

Ceebee74 · 04/02/2009 10:15

Willmouse sorry the spotting has started How are your boys? Have they recovered yet? Josh just has one scab left to fall off now - the rest are just red marks.

MJIM I know what you mean about clothes - I am so bored of Josh's clothes as he just doesn't grow!! 18-24 month clothes are just a little too small but 2-3 year ones are too big - he looks like he is wearing dresses sometimes as the tops are so long It looks like not only are my boys totally different in colouring but in size aswell Josh went back to nursery last Friday and not a day too soon

HC I was sicker with Josh than Sam - both boys (obviously!) but completely different experiences. With Josh, I could not eat anything for the first 3 months. With Sam, eating was the only thing that eased it I do feel for you as it is totally crap - along with the exhaustion!

Bellie I can't remember in my dream how you had the baby but I have a feeling it was a natural birth just before your c/s was booked

Well, spotting has started here (and rather early) so it doesn't look like this was my month after all. Just wait now for AF to turn up on Sun/Mon. I don't know why I was so positive really becuase tbh with my periods being so bad there is clearly something not right. Anyway, I am determined not to get down about it!

MJIM - Glad you have moved Naomi up a size - I used to get bored of looking at the same clothes too! She will soon grow!

Hello everyone.

Dawni - sorry you are feeling low. I am ridiculously optimistic about this 2ww and am sure it is going to end in disappointment - I don't know which is worse but at least there are 6 of us now ttc.

LaDiDaDi - good luck for Monday. My AF is due Sun/Mon too. I am off to Asda tonight and am considering purchasing a couple of cheapie tests but don't want to jinx things .

PP - sorry about your BFN. I think there is one person who managed it first time here (could be Heart2MumJamie).

LuckyS - good luck with the BD'ing - sounds like you have a nice weekend in store

HC - I had mild morning sickness with DS1 and then it got worse when had DS2 (although I was never sick). I do wonder if it will be worse again third time around (of course I have already convinced myself that I feel queasy on and off and have defnintely been more light headed this month!) I personally think twins would be a nightmare if you already had two children.

Belgian - glad you are still around - even if just lurking. YOu have your consultation a week before I see my consultant for our test results - let us know how you get on.

Bellie - good luck for tomorrow. Do you have an early start? I'm sure I had to be at the hospital for 7.30 when I had my planned c-scetion.

Well, I am now on CD25 here and have just worked out I am on course for a 28/29 day cycle which is unheard of for me If Af is due on Sun/Mon I expect to get spotting by Fri/Sat so am on serious knicker watch!

DawnAS · 04/02/2009 09:08

Dawni, sending special thoughts your way today hun. You know we're always here when you want us...

Belgian, same to you hun...

HC, hey, look on the bright-side, at least if you have twins, you'll definitely get your own way on the new pram!! Don't think they'll both fit into one!! Sorry that you are feeling so sick though hun, I was lucky as I escaped that completely. Some people say that you're more sick for a girl, but that's obviously not right in my case. I think it's genetic. Neither my Mum nor any of my three sisters had morning sickness either and Mum had four girls and 3 of us siblings had/are having girls!! Maybe in your case, if it's starting earlier it'll finish earlier!

Bellie, not long to go now hun!! How exciting to say that you're going to be seeing your little one soon!! Can we start to make guesses now? We may have done it previously but let's refresh!! I think you're going to have a BOY!!!

Ceebee, after your dream I'm guessing you may be thinking a boy for Bellie too!! Hope you're Ok today hun.

Puree, sorry about the BFN hun. Stay positive for next month if you can.

Big hello to everyone else. Still fighting this cold (well fighting with NOTHING) but hopefully it will start to ease soon as I'm off to see Riverdance - the Final Tour on Saturday night and I can't wait!! I've seen it once before and it was soooo amazing!!

Hope you all have a good day.

xxxx
