Hi guys - oh how awful about the immense volume of vomit today! Dawni - I suspect your ds has the hangover from hell, no??? MJIM - suspect your ds probably doesn't lol!

I have the best news - just been to MW - the baby has turned! All by itself, the clever little thing! She thought so and got 2 others in to have a feel! We will have a scan in a couple of weeks anyway to make sure! Yey! I'm dead happy! - looks like my low key water birth in my lovely little local hospital is back on! (I thought something weird was going on last night - felt really agitated and restless and was sick - although I managed to get to the loo! )

willmouse - sorry you are spotting but don't give up hope!

HC - and what's on the menu today? muffins? bagels? ciabatta? some other bread product???

Is anyone else a bit concerned that Bellie hasn't been on? he would be out of hospital by now wouldn't she?

Dawni · 09/02/2009 17:29

Willmouse No stairs darling, we live in a bungalow LOL, but the noisy bugger woke us going to the loo !!! Sorry to hear your spotting hun xx

Dawni · 09/02/2009 17:27

MJIM Sorry to hear you had such a poor night, at least your DS wasnt sick with lager mixed with blue wicked followed by donner kebab !!! It was a hell of a colour Hope your DS is much better now....I had to really hide my dissapointment when DH said he needed morphine now, he has held off because of TTCing, but Im sure he would know how i felt, he wants this pregnancy as much as me, we'll just wait and see what happens on thursday and take it from there. Did Naomi nap much today to make up for lastnight ??

Hello ladies

Had a rotten day yesterday, DH was in terrible pain with his thigh/hip, doctor has put him on oramorph and DS managed to puke round the whole bathroom !!!! I was bleaching the toilet, radiator, floor, walls, it went in the shower cubicle, up the back of the door and in my tampon box !!!!!!!! Not a happy day at all, DH is seeing the orthopedic surgeon on thursday so ive taken the day off to drive him as he'll be in no fit state and probably won't be able to remember whats been said, the sooner they take him in and do a full replacement the better....Poor fella said when we need to send the troops in he'll come off the morphine a day before, how humbled do i feel , mind you he might be in the hospital bt then and BDing will be off the menu for at least a few months !! ....But he has to come first, he has been in agony for such a long time.

Hope everyone is doing well and all snow is melting

HC - hope you are feeling OK

MJIM - hope your litte ones are OK - at least you have DH to help you

Juanitad - glad you and Patrick are doing so well!

Puree and Ladidadi - sorry AF got you - I think I will be joining you back on ttc route again soon.

We are both well thanks - he seems to be a fairly happy little boy, feeding well now (although like I said it was tough at the beginnig) Our current battle is daytime sleeping - he just doesn't want to! He's not so bad at night, but I think he's worried about what he'll miss if he sleeps in the day, even though he's knackered!

ChocolateEclair · 08/02/2009 17:26

Well everyone seems to think it's a boy - I'm not so sure myself! All the old wives tales point to a boy! (I don't care though! I just want my baby out soon!)

How are you? Is Patrick doing well?

juanitad · 08/02/2009 17:06

CE - I'm here! Good idea to get books for hospital. As I had a cs I was in hospital for 3 days and newborns do sleep an awful lot! I'm not saying you'll have loads of time, cos no doubt you'll have lots of visitors, but I did some reading - mainly baby books. If you are planning on breastfeeding, can I recommend a book called "What to expect if you're breastfeeding and whar happens if you can't" by Clare Byam-Cook. I found bf really tough going at first, and that book was extremely useful. I also had a trashy novel with me in hospital for when I needed something a bit lighter! I'm so excited that you're getting close now.........I'm going to predict a girl for you! Do you have a feeling either way yourself?

ChocolateEclair · 08/02/2009 16:46

Oooo and I got my hair cut. It was lovely to be pamperered for half and hour! (looks quite nice as well!)

ChocolateEclair · 08/02/2009 16:42
  • where is everyone??????????????

Sorry you are feeling blue puree - hope you are having a better day today.

Fertility Friend is great then we can all look at your chart and symptom spot with you!

We have had a nice day - a little potter round the shops - got 2 fleecy blankets, some baby toiletries and cotton balls etc plus some books to read in hospital - might be a tad optimistic?!?!?!?

Hope you are all off having fun - Bellie come and let us know you and baby are OK soon! I can't wait much longer! [impatient!]

Dawni · 07/02/2009 22:20

Thanks for all the lovely words girls. It does feel good not waking up every morning petrified with a clinched jaw thinking 'another day of not knowing what's wrong to get through' any more.

Dawni and LaDiDaDi so sorry the b*tch got you. Still, it's kind of a good feeling knowing where you are and staring a new cycle, isn't it?
Except for my potentially abnormal pregnancy all those 2 week waits were the most insane times of my life. It just totally grinds you down doesn't it?

Willmouse don't want to seem overly optimistic here ... but I AM optimistic! Crossing everything for you. x

Lots of love to everyone, enjoy the w/e.
